Went on my birthday, needed a reservation. Hostess was kind of enough to call and confirm my reservation prior to. Food and service were great. Daniel was a very accommodating server. The New York strip was great, however I think I would prefer not to get the pepper crust next time. It's good if that's your thing, but everyone has different preferences. Partner was very adamant on the sauce that accompanies the steak being superb. The potatoes au gratin were really cheesy, but portion was a bit small for preference but definitely shareable. Mixed drinks were AWESOME, highly recommend their menu. But they have a full bar if you have something else in mind. Partner got an old fashion, which serves as his litmus test, and he claimed it was "right on the money". Ambiance is romantic/dim-lit, certain aspects seemed a bit aged, but I think it comes with the charm of the location. Was seated on the window right across from the Queen Mary, which was a nice touch for first time going. My only gripe was being offered to go up the elevator upon entrance and it smelled... old/stale. Still functional, but just a bit disappointing. Overall experience the restaurant was 5/5. Definitely would go again

My husband and I went to Queensview for our date night . I actually went to Parker Lighthouse a few times, the last time I was not impress with the food. Am glad to say I had a different experience at Queensview. Our waiter was very attentive. We ordered salads- I ordered the beet salad which was ok, it had watermelon-it wasn't watermelon season: and my husband enjoyed his Caesar salad. Entree was lamp chops and bone in ribeye ; sides were cream corn, onion rings, Mac and cheese . Everything was good, cream corn was very flavorful with the Poblano peppers. In addition, the restaurant has a beautiful view, especially during sunset .

This review is for a group work event where the whole upstairs was booked for our party. The staff did a very nice job with service and the kitchen really cranked out the food. It seemed like such a small kitchen for so much output. There were close to 100 guests. Most ordered steaks or the surf snd turf with lobster. I unfortunately ordered the chicken which was not great, but my fault for ordering chicken at a steakhouse. Seafood Tower on every table with gorgeous big shrimp. The oysters were disappointing, and I was sitting next to someone from Boston who agreed. I've had oysters downstairs in Parker's Lighthouse that were really good, these were not. I skipped the crab after those oysters. We all received an heirloom tomato/burrata/bread starter. Kind of like a deconstructed Panzanella salad. It was terrific and I ate it before I could snap a pic.Everyone loved their steaks and the sides were delicious. Lobster Mac was super creamy. Asparagus perfectly cooked and flavorful sautéed mushrooms. I chose the NY cheesecake for dessert which was velvety and light. Service throughout was amazing and like I said above, the kitchen crew was a well oiled machine. I don't know how they got out that many covers simultaneously.

I recently visited Queensview Steakhouse, located on the upper level of Parker's Lighthouse, for a special birthday dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.I was looking for a nice restaurant in Long Beach and decided to try Queensview. I made a reservation for when they open at 5 PM to ensure a table with a breathtaking view overlooking the Queen Mary. The early timing was perfect as we got to enjoy the stunning scenery as the sun went down, which added to the celebratory atmosphere. The food we ordered was great. I had the bone-in rib-eye cooked medium rare, and it came out perfectly cooked and flavorful. My girlfriend ordered the lamb chops, which were equally delicious. We also shared an order of onion rings, which were crispy and delightful. Others in our group ordered the burger, and everyone agreed it was excellent. The service was outstanding. The staff even left a card signed by the entire team, which added a thoughtful touch to the celebration. Their attentiveness and friendliness truly made the evening special.Overall, I would definitely recommend Queensview Steakhouse for an intimate dinner with great views, amazing food, and exceptional service. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a memorable dining experience in Long Beach.

We've been to Parker's Lighthouse a few times, but I never knew there was a steakhouse on the top floor. We had a reservation and checked in 15 minutes early. We were still standing around 10 minutes after our scheduled reservation, but we weren't in a hurry. Once seated we were greeted by Chelsea. She was great and very attentive. I ordered a La Marca, and hubby ordered their Original Old Fashioned. The bar was a little slow, but again, we weren't in a hurry. The jazz trio that was playing was enjoyable. It made the gorgeous sunset even better! We started with the Sushi Sampler, which was surprisingly delicious. Hubby ordered the Prime N.Y. Strip Steak, and I ordered the Twin Cold-Water Lobster Tails. We also ordered sides of Whipped Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus. All in all we had a great experience, with the exception of my Lobster Tails being way over-cooked. But, the Crème Brûlée and Brûlée Cheesecake were next-level amazing that I soon forgot about the lobster tails. We will definitely be back.

Wow what can I say about this amazing restaurant. The restaurant is in Parker's Lighthouse on the top floor and it overlooks the marina. This was a surprise dinner for me since it was our anniversary. We got the best seat in the house. Our view was directly overlooking the Queen Mary. Our table was set up with a card for us from the staff which I thought was a beautiful gesture for our special night. Staff was great and very helpful. They gave great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We ended up ordering the platter of fresh shucked oysters to start off our night. It came with a few toppers for taste and my favorite was, of course, the lemon and vinegar. The oysters were a great size and very flavorful. You also get bread with two different butters which was also yummy. For our dinner, we ordered the Prime Porterhouse for Two meal. It came with two sides and a dessert to choose. We got the Potato Gratin and Brussel Sprouts. The potatoes were amazing and the brussels sprouts had a little crunch and were seasoned pretty good. Our porterhouse was cooked perfectly, so that was a plus. Overall, if you are looking for a great date night or a nice evening with friends, this is the place to go. It is in Shoreline Village so you can possibly go have a few drinks at the surrounding restaurants/bars.

Wow! This place deserves all the stars!!! What an incredible view.First of all the view--wow. Oh the third floor of the Parker Lighthouse (which is a beautiful lounge type restaurant in itself) but this lounge is on the 3rd floor. You kind of feel like you are entering a secret supper club! With the tall ceilings and beautiful views, it was perfect. The food was delicious. We stated with the French onion soup and the bacon wrapped dates. Both had interesting and elevated flavor pallets. For our entree we split the Prime Porterhouse for two--which came with 32 oz. of meat, 2 sides, and a dessert to share. Everything was tasty. I'd recommend the queens steak sauce--it was perfect with the meat!I would say the service was fantastic as well. Our server was great. The bartender made sure our sodas and teas were constantly filled and the busers always made sure our table was clean. I will make sure to come back again--it was the perfect evening!!!

Alright one full week in LB and 6 spots later, finally a solid 5/5. Service, ambiance, and food were on point. Also the value plays a big role to me when I'm spending $200 and this was worth it. Martinis were icey on top and yummy. Ordered extra dirty and they weren't dirty enough, so go with filthy. The small seafood platter was honestly a lot of food, and the best part of the meal for $60. There were 8 snow crab pieces, 4 fresh oysters, 2 half lobster bites and even tuna poke on top!!Mac and cheese with lobster was great, but the cheese tasted a little velveta like, but there was no way it was that...still loved itFrench onion soup hit the spot, drank it all. Red beet salad was super fresh with crunchy watermelon. Table bread with the pecan and honey butter was killer too. I honestly will come back and get the seafood tower to myself and leave happy if I'm craving seafood. Free 2 hour parking.UPDATE: 40 hours later, both our stomachs started to bubble. We for sure got a food poisoning bug and barfed and had diarrhea for a day. Dang, the food was so good though, but we BOTH had the same thing. I will probably still come back though lol

SERVICEParking was a bit painful circling the lot. And waiting for our table was horrible for one who made reservation and still waited 15min minutes while other people were walking in and somehow being seated. Not sure what I missed. That sucked which drops them down to 4 stars. What made up for it was the ambience, the food, my company, and our waitress. it also was a bit cold inside and am glad I leave a shawl in the car. FOODWe loved everything. Steak was wonderful. Great texture and flavor. My jambalaya was delicious and the bread pudding for dessert following it was to die for. The sweetness was just right. Butter cake too was yummy. Great job kitchen! WELLWould definitely return.

My wife and I have been to this place several times, and have brought people and recommended it. We've always had top notch service. The experience starts at the reception desk down stairs. They need to know you're going to Queens View. Once you get upstairs you're greeted by the staff and if it's special day, they acknowledge it. We have tried almost everything on the menu. The servers are very knowledgeable about their menu and its preparation. They are also good about suggesting items. Their warm bread and pecan butter is incredible. Drinks are super good and the bar tender is a funny guy. The food has always been excellent. The view is amazing and the person playing the piano is super good, and adds to the experience. The difference between Queens View and other places is that they apply a team effort. You have your server, but the rest of the staff makes sure you have everything you need. I can't say enough about this place and how special they have made us feel each and every time we've gone. I've read some of the negative reviews and am shocked, because I just can't believe that happened at a place that we have always viewed as a total experience. Happy eating!
