Beautiful restaurant inside south coast plaza with white table linens and warm tones throughout. Staff were great and attentive and they were very accommodating to my little one. Menu had a great variety of options and it was hard to choose. We ended up split g a sandwich and a pizza, both were delicious. Great spot to dine.

What a fantastic find buried within a busy shopping mall! We stumbled upon Quattro while wasting time in Orange County on a busy Friday night. There was no way we were going to sit in 2-1/2 hours of traffic when it should only be 45 minutes so we went shopping. Just as we were both thinking about dinner, we ran across Quattro and were quickly seated. The place was jam packed so I don't know how we got so lucky getting a table. The food gods were looking after us I suppose. We weren't terribly hungry so we started with a couple of cocktails, a dirty gin martini and an old fashioned. They were both excellent, especially the old fashioned. Often they are too sweet but this one was perfectly balanced. For our meal, we ordered two Antipasti, the Carpaccio Di Manzo and the Pulpo e Patate. The Carpaccio was recommended by the host who said it was her favorite dish. The Octopus was a no-brainer because we both love it when it's prepared properly. The Polpo e Patate arrived first and we were impressed with how large it was. There was a large mound of greens lightly dressed in a lemon vinaigrette and topped with warm chunks of potato and an abundance of warm sliced octopus tentacles. We've ordered dishes similar to this in many other Italian restaurants and we've never seen this much octopus on the plate. It was outstanding and the octopus was cooked to tender perfection. The Carpaccio arrived soon after and it was everything the hostess promised and then some! The paper thin slices of filet were so delicate that they immediately started falling apart as soon as you touched them. How they got them sliced so thinly and then neatly arranged on the plate still baffles me. In the center was an arugula salad with shaved Parmesan and toasted nuts. A large lemon half accompanied the salad and provided a lovely tartness to the entire dish when squeezed across the top. Excellent!!This place will be definitely bookmarked for a future visit. The food was outstanding and the service was fantastic. My only complaint was that is was really crowded and we constantly dealt with people, both customers and staff, brushing past us throughout the meal. That, combined with the noise, was quite a distraction from an otherwise nearly perfect meal. That's why we will come back on a slower night when we can choose a better location to sit and enjoy more of their impressive menu.

Out of all the good restaurants inside South Coast Plaza, my friends and I decided to try Quattro Cafe based on the high Yelp reviews. The place was buzzin'. We didn't have a reservation (highly recommend that you do) but we did not wait for long to be seated after we put our name down. We were seated at the back patio. The place is pretty cramped. Hard to get in-and-out of the table. Once seated, our server took our drink orders first while we decide what to eat. They gave us fetcha bread (yummm) to munch on. Our server made me feel rushed with our orders. She wasn't friendly either, just pure business approach. When we're ready, we ordered:1) Arugula Salad $242) Farfalle Salmon Fresco $353) Pasta del Giorno $454) Pizza Margherita $ 23Everything tasted good, nothing extraordinary. Serving size is just right. Prices are a bit on the high end (but it's scp). The pasta del Giorno is not bad either but could be better. Server never offered if we wanted some mozzarella cheese on our pasta. She rarely check our table if we needed anything. We have to keep flagging another person (who btw was awesome - I forgot to ask her name), I believe she helped the main servers. My first experience with Quattro Cafe was just mediocre. PS: pls be aware that this place charges 3% surcharge if you opt to pay with credit card!

Excellent food and friendly efficient service in this mall eatery. Have done lunch several times with a 2 year old in our party and they are so friendly to him. Definitely returning and hopefully also for dinner. Pasta is cooked perfectly and bolognese outstanding.

Another fabulous dining experience at Quattro Caffe.This place has been a favorite Italian restaurant for my family since last century ( From Armani Cafe time). The dishes are tasty and drinks are nice. On top of all is the welcome feelings from the staffs who have been working there for decades. My favorite waiter is Pascual who provides such courteous attentive friendly service and full with knowledge of the food and drink he served. Through the years I noticed that so many long time customers who request to be wait on by him. He always can tell we are in good mood or are troublesome or sad and be there for us to be comforted by his service and delicious food, then find the right moment to celebrate or comfort his old customers. With so many new restaurants open in Orange County the past few years. Having Pascual taking care of us is the key reasons for many of us keep on coming back to Quattro Caffe for years. We are very grateful having a pleasant relaxed small gathering to celebrating Spring again at Quattro as always!

Omgoodness! I never realized this was even in South Coast! Bar staff was fabulous, friendly, fast, and made excellent drinks. We ordered the carpaccio and two espresso martinis. They did not disappoint. We will definitely be visiting again.

We came by for some lunch before doing some shopping. When we arrived there was no wait and we were able to sit for a table of 2. Before we ordered we got some focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. This was good! We ordered the gnocchi Al pesto and the sandwich with steak and brie. Both were pretty tasty. Service was good and it was a very satisfying meal. We got our leftovers to go and the staff was nice enough to pack us some fresh bread to go.

Stopped in at Quattro Cafe for a quick bite before attending a performance over at Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo which was creamy and delicious...I added Parmesan for added flavor. It's a tight space...tables are close together.

Quattro has become a weekly restaurant for my girlfriend and I. Bou Bou is the absolute best - if you know, you know. In fact, the entire staff is extremely personable, friendly, and accommodating. The ambiance inside is a bit loud but they're always busy. Which means the food is incredible. Their drinks are even better. Quattro martini is the way to go and Bou Bou always greets us with our favorite drinks. Their salads are great, pasta and pizza are fabulous. Bartenders, especially Ana, are fabulous. 110% recommend. We love the Quattro family!!!
