I had my heart set on a traditional Italian Millefoglie, but after reaching out to countless bakeries, Ayliz, the owner of Pouls, was the only one willing to take on the challenge. Not only did they execute it flawlessly, but they also built the cake onsite in front of all our guests--an unforgettable experience! The Millefoglie was beyond perfect--delicate, crispy layers, luscious cream, fresh fruit and the most incredible flavor. I've received an overwhelming number of compliments, and I owe it all to the talented team at Pouls. They listened to exactly what I wanted, never said no, and made the entire process an absolute dream. If you're looking for a bakery that is skilled, dedicated, and truly passionate about their craft, Pouls is it!. They made my wedding day even more special with the most beautiful, delicious cake, and I couldn't be more grateful!

I have been coming to this bakery ever since I was a young kid, and it is still my favorite. Poul's is a staple in the OC area and makes delicious pastries. My faves are their Swedish Princess Cake, their Angel Cookies, and their King cake. We just ordered a King cake, and it was warm, flaky, with a rich almond paste, and so rich and tasty. The service here is always great, and they are super responsive. This bakery operates more with pre-order and then pick-up, which I like because everything is always fresh. Their store is super cute inside. Poul's will always be my go to for decadent desserts!

I needed a customized LV cake for my friend's birthday. Aylese and I communicated via phone and text to discuss the design. The cake came out beautifully and it tastes so good (although the birthday girl didn't want any one to touch it for a while because it was so beautiful) . Thank you Aylese!

I bought two cakes from here recently and both were delicious. The first cake I purchased was the Princess Cake, which was something new for me. The almond marzipan and fruity sponge cake were delightful. The second cake I purchased was a Limoncello cake for my birthday. It was light, moist, and the lemon flavor was just right. The ordering process was easy, and Ayliz helped me decide on the right cakes and size. I picked up the first cake at their storefront in Costa Mesa and had the second delivered for a small fee. Overall, Poul's is a really great choice if you're looking for a specialty cake to impress family and friends.

I placed my customer order of 150 mini cannolis from Ayliz the owner of Poul's Bakery for our 50-year class reunion. I ordered pistachio, almond and chocolate cannolis which were packaged and delivered perfectly. She let me know how many platters I would need to have to transfer for the dessert course. The cannolis were served with fresh mixed berries. Simply sensational. Ayliz' bakery was just two miles away from our venue, so delivery from her was perfection. I would highly recommend Poul's Bakery for quality, service and taste. Cin cin!

Cannolis were amazing. I am a big cannoli fan and live in Huntington Beach and have been driving to Tustin for cannolis. Poul's is great.

I stumbled across this page on yelp as I was in search of some dessert to bring to a dinner party and let me tell you, Poul's Bakery did not disappoint!The employees helped me decide on just what I needed. I went with a dozen of the mini cannolis and they are piped to order, so it's guaranteed fresh! Not only did the cannolis taste AMAZING, they made sure they looked amazing and replaced one in the box that did not turn out how they wanted to.I even bought some Italian cookies and pastries for myself and you can tell everything here is made with love. My new favorite bakery in OC. I'll be back to try their cannoli cake! Highly recommend if you're looking a place to cater desserts for you, or even for treats for yourself. Place your order ahead of time if you are in a rush (since the cannolis are piped fresh).

Cute and delicious. Lots of traditional Italian treats including cannolis. It is an unusual area, surrounded by industrial buildings, but when you get inside it is a wonderful little shop. Try the macrons too; they're exactly perfect.

Make sure you read the hours on google before you go. Apple Maps gives the wrong hours. We drove over 45 minutes to come here. When I called to see why they are closed the lady said I need to preorder. Then she's like the hours are clearly written on Google maps! My issue was how she just assumed I didn't know how to read! What the heck. Many people use Apple Maps and not Google maps! The owner should be well aware that there are multiple platforms out there. No need to be insensitive on the phone!

First of all nowhere did I read that they don't allow walk ins. I tried ordering online, but you can't, and not all the pictures load up on the website. Anyway I drove from Riverside to pouls because I found them on Yelp, and thought why not check them out for a cake. I get here and the door is locked. The sign says to ring their doorbell on which I did, then I proceeded to call. Had to call twice before someone called back, just for them to tell me NO walk ins. And that I have to order ahead of time over the phone? But yet again I don't know what to order or what to get since the website doesn't show anything, and can't order on the website. So hen the girl tells me that they do accept walk ins? But again I'm standing outside and no one is coming out. Anyways never willI waste my time or money with this bakery.
