If you want authentic and delicious posole, then this is the place for you. I grew up eating white posole and this reminds me of my childhood and did not dissapoint. I have also tried their chilaquiles con pollo, their mole enchiladas and my favorite, their cafe de olla which you will even want to order to go. The servers are so kind and welcoming. Do not pass on this place. They have a bathroom and small television and there is seating indoor and a small patio outside. Parking is a bit tough as it is a small shopping center. Even so, I have never had any issues. I highly recommend this place as it is one of my top posole places in orange county.

Best cafe de olla around! Had the mole. It was really good. The service was good, but I mainly came on here to brag about the cafe de olla!

Although the wait to be seated is always long, whether the place is full or not, the food is always great which is why we keep returning. This time we tried their Enchiladas del Patron and Enchiladas Queretanas. The Patron were amazing! Plate was left clean. The chipotle cream sauce is not too spicy or creamy, just right. The Queretanas have a great flavor but for my liking I thought they were too dry. If they were only dipped in salsa a bit more, they would have tasted like home enchiladas from Jalisco made from Guajillo chile.

Where can I start? I'll start here, this place is authentic, delicious and worth the wait! Yes, the waiting times are sometimes long but I promise it's worth it. We have been coming here since 2013! This is a staple in our home every Saturday! 1. Pozole: delicious hominy and broth I recommend the pork mixto. And do yourself a favor and order a side of salsa patron. 2. The enchiladas las 3 Maria's de pollo, these are absolutely delectable. Three types of mole in one plate! Get the chicken and thank me later. 3. The enchiladas patron de pollo, the name it means boss in English, and yes those enchiladas are the boss! 4. If you're in here for breakfast, try Los Revoltosos with a café de olla, this is the best breakfast combo! 5. Last but not least, please be kind to the staff. The food is delicious and made to order. Nothing sits around plated or already made. Thank you Potzol den Cano for always welcoming my family with such great hospitality.

I came around 2pm and was greeted and seated fast. The food was delicious! I got green chilaquiles (they came with a freshly squeezed orange juice) and a mixed pork pozole. The salsa was spicy but a tolerable spicy level that gives you a kick but you can still enjoy the flavor. The service was excellent since they came to refill our drinks frequently and asked if everything was good. The whole restaurant was welcoming and friendly so I'd definitely come back and try other things in the menu.

We alway come here and the food is always good but lately their service has been really bad ! They told they only had the patio available so we said that we didn't mind to sit out there, well they forgot we there and waited for 20 mins so we left and when we left I hear one of the servers tell the other that she forgot we were out there, they need to improve their service and remember when they have people outside in the patio !!!

My primo suggested this place to me to check out since I love pozole. It's a quaint little hole in the wall with not too much seating, and authentic as it can get (seeing as how it's in Santa Ana). The broth tasted very clean and flavorful. The tortilla chips with all the different sides was pretty decent too. I have to admit though that I'm rather more of a fan of the dirty red pozole like how it's usually made. The waitress was nice and the waiter was very attentive to our needs. All in all, a good experience.

Poor service during evening visit. Several businesses in this center take ownership of parking spaces, which created limited parking for this businesses. The pozole is good, but the rest of the menu is terrible. Restrooms could use proper maintenance. The sewer line releases a smell which fills up the entire business with this stench,

Honestly food was alright took forever just to bring a plate of chilaquiles con huevo and the wait was as so long almost lost my appetite it was 2 hours. The waiters were nice but the service was so awful, had asked the waiter for a utensil more than 3 times n kept forgetting to bring it, food wasn't hot it was barely warm, had canceled a drink yet he still brought it. Honestly the worst breakfast restaurant in Santa Ana.
