Port Grill and Cafe

This place was very average Mediterranean food. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by here for lunch, but I would eat here again if I was craving Mediterranean food and it was the only place around. The perks: prices were not too bad, service was friendly. I had a pretty bad experience was my order here but am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was a fluke thing. I'm vegan so I thought I would be safe and ask about the vegan options. I ended up getting what the server recommended, the falafel wrap with hummus. She said she loved it. The only people in line were me and the 4 people in my party. I ordered first... and got my food last... 20 minutes after everyone else who ordered cooked meat dishes. Everyone was finished eating by the time I got my food and I had to continue checking on my order to make it go "efficiently." Needless to say, poor experience. Decent food but I was just bothered at that point.

Sadly disappointed. The chicken was incredible, but the woman serving seemed irritable and like she would rather be elsewhere... which was confirmed when her friend came in and hung out with her.The price was a little much ($13) for essentially just chicken and rice and the TINIEST of Greek salads which to top it all off had a bug right on top. Giving it two stars since the rice and chicken were tasty though, but I was a little surprised that it didn't come with a pita like many other places will do. Probably won't be returning, but can't say I didn't try!

I walked into this place after seeing the menu from outside, intending to order. I noticed a woman behind the counter blowing her nose with a Kleenex, sitting off to the side. When she saw me, she got up and approached the register, balled-up tissue in hand. She stooped and threw it away in a trash can behind the counter.I asked her if she wouldn't mind washing her hands."Nope!"I walked right out and went to Ike's two doors down.

Man I tried to give this place another try but the second time was just as bad. I waited 20 min for just a wrap and 2 people ordered a whole meal and got served before me. It almost felt like they forgot about me. Just ridiculous when they are a smallLunch spot in the middle of a business center with very few people inside. Both times I was late getting back to work for this. Not ok

We ordered Sish kebab it's good just a bit hard but overall is okay--however they were kind enough to substitute the basmati rice with salad . Salad is fresh plus the dressing is really good. But I am kinda disappointed a bit with the hummus its kinda bland (no flavor) unless that is how originally is and the rest are just commercialized, the serving is huge for 1 person.I will still go back here for sure-- they just newly opened. A bit pricey though.I apologize no photos taken as I was so hungry.

I was in the area for some business meeting and went there with other people. i had a eggplant( kashkbademjan). it was terrible and old.I got a stomach pain after. I was hungry didnt want to get salad but i wish i did.Not recommended it At All.

I was so happy to see they have quite a few dishes to choose from for a non meat eater! I love Mediterranean food and when I find great meals with veggies and protein I remember to come back. The food was fresh, quick and so filling! I love that half salmon and half shrimp combo is on the menu for everyone to order!

Given that this is operated by the Port Restaurant and Bar in Corona del Mar, you'd have high expectations. But this acorn fell far, far from the tree. After two visits, I won't be back for a third for the following reasons: 1. Slow service (at a quickie lunch spot)2. Poor parking3. Overly-salted and not very tasty food served in inadequate portions (perhaps a blessing)4. High prices5. Spotty service

Went here for lunch today, I ordered the #2 beef kabob plate which was pretty tasty. My friend ordered the #1 chicken kabob. The order came with two kabobs, rice and some sides. It was pretty filling and all of the flavors complimented each other well. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. The place was a little small but it was clean and there was plenty of seating. It was a little pricy but worth it.

This place is never open it seems like. There always seems to be a small window in the afternoon, but that's about it. The food is mediocre but passable. The menu is all over the place. You don't know what exactly their brand tries to be, it seems co
