You can never go wrong by choosing salmon. The salmon was cut into large, generously sized pieces and so fresh. That's the only type of protein I added because I'm a huge salmon lover but you can choose to go crazy with the other options.Even if you're not a huge poké lover, they have Hawaiian classics like spam musubi and California rolls. We ordered the tuna roll but they were out of tuna so they subbed it for salmon which I was happy about. They have a lot of deals for small bites depending on the day of the week so I'd take advantage of that depending on when you visit.Poke Island is such a cute, small mom-and-pop shop tucked in a busy plaza that's worth supporting.

Got their house spam musubi and it was yummy! However, I wish their spam had a better sear and bigger. I could eat it in 2 bites. It could use more sauce too. The poke bowl was good! I got the signature bowl with every type of fish. The fish was fresh and the bowl was good overall! The tea was refreshing. It was like jelly juice. I would come back to try their crab chips.

I buy something from this place every single day. they have a USB charging outlet there, so I was using the outlet charging my phone. The manager/supervisor was rude and kicked me out. She and her mom who works in the kitchen are extremely rude with no manners or empathy of others and what they are going through. But the younger guys the work there, they are what the whole employees should learn to follow to be like and to follow there behavior. This place left a bad taste in my mouth. I am never going to recommend them for anyone's pokes cravings. Because of your employees and not because of your horrible manager/supervisors manners is the reason why you have 2 stars instead of 1

Still not any better than 2016. Possibly worse.I'm not a fan of these poke joints that are almost on every corner these days, but I'll probably never visit this one again.The quality of tuna was previously frozen. You can tell by the color. I bought my husband a FIVE SCOOP to try to get enough fish and he's not a really big eater anymore, but wants mostly fish in his poke bowl, like they have in Hawaii.... So after paying premium price here, still not impressed.EVEN LESS IMPRESSED when they give you like 5-6 tiny pieces PER SCOOP and if they fill the scoop too much to their liking, they knock off the extra. I was there at 6:30 p.m. on a weeknight and the only one in the place. Good luck to you Poke Island, but .... this is it for me.

A great place for poke bowl! The poke bowl was very nice and fresh. We also had spam musubi which was carefully layered and it was very good. They have handmade drinks too - those boba smoothie and stuff. The vibe was nice. They have a lot of board games to play too.

Whenever I run errands near this area, I always make sure to stop by for a quick lunch. It's one of the few places I would go to for poke. Whenever I go to other poke places closer to me, I would still crave this place. The taste is always consistent to me and I appreciate that. I usually get a regular half and half base like spring mix and rice and with spicy tuna, tuna, and albacore and choose whatever toppings I want. I like mixing different sauces and it always comes out good. The only thing that is different is sometimes it comes out spicier depending on what sauces I choose. The sauces here are more unique than other places I have tried. You can also get some premium toppings like avocado, mango, or boiled egg for an additional charge. I also love that they have boba here and their boba is actually decent! My go to always is the almond milk tea. They have free boba drink if you do a yelp check in and I often take advantage of that. Sometimes yelp doesn't show the check in option but if you show the promotion from yelp page, the workers will still honor the deal. This place is spacious, clean, and workers are friendly. I recommend this place next time you're in the area and want some poke!

What can I say about this place except I LOVE IT!Their made to order Musubi is absolutely delicious and worth the extra wait! The rice is cooked to perfection. It's gooey and melts in your mouth sushi type rice goodness! The spam is not overly salty. The sauces are a great touch to dip these babies in! Service is overall good, but do expect to wait a bit longer for your order when it gets busy. Listen, it's a small mom and pop type of place, just try to be patient. I promise it's worth the wait (for me it is). If you can go in person to order, it's better. I like to check my food and if there's something missing, I'll just ask them in person right then and there!Still great portion and they don't cut the fish into small pieces. They are pretty generous compared to some other places. Their quality and ingredients tastes fresh! My favorite is always getting kale and spring mix, but tossed with sesame oil as pregame for the greens before my actual sauce of choice. LOL Restaurant is clean and they have specialty drinks as well. I forgot to get the rainbow drink this time! Next time for sure! Get yourself a bowl of poke, side of Musubi and maybe a drink too? You won't be disappointed and maybe you'll be transported to Hawaii!
