When it is too fa to drive for a plate of Gado Gado Indonesian dish, then you find a Thai retaurant that is open in the afternoon. It's been awhile and we are glad to be back at Phuket Thai. Friendly server seated us in a booth right by a metal wall Thai decor, and two menus each; the standard and one listing all Lunch Specials. For starters we ordered the crunchy vegetable Eggrolls that come piping temperature hot with a sweet dipping sauce. The lovely missus chose Rad Na; flat rice noodles in a brown gravy with broccoli and chicken. I wanted the Tom Kha Coconut milk soup with chicken and mushrooms and hints of ginger and lemon grass. I chose the small bowl as I also ordered the L20 Luncheon of Vegetable and Tofu with a white Jasmine rice and mixed salad. All dishes were super tasty and for dessert I opted for the sweet Thai Iced Tea. Always a good lunch at Phuket Thai.

The panang curry was yummy. I appreciate that they were willing to remove the bell peppers. It didn't have any carrots, sadly. What really ruined the eating experience was getting my to-go curry in a piece of aluminum foil... appalling choice for a liquid container

Order placed online using obscure platform I've never used or heard of before. Items were ready upon arrival. Parking easy. Food was mediocre. Spicy fried rice not very spicy. Individual ingredients were cut pretty big. I would have appreciated a lemon wedge or something to cut the grease and add some acid. Eggplant meal came with delicious shrimps. Only gripe is how watery it was. The portion sizes were good for one person and not for two people. Given the abundance of different Thai restaurant choices in the area, I may or may not return in the future.

This my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for the portions. I have been coming here for over 12 years. Every time the food is perfect, order is complete, consistent care to ensure it is exactly like I want it. I love their crabs fried rice, coconut soups ( Tom kha ) phad see u , Crying Tiger ( BBQ beef ) The items are made fresh to order and always arrive as requested . The service is amazing. The staff are polite, attentive . It is small, clean and seldom crowded.

Went to this place and check out their food. It was pretty decent. Not as authentic as we want but didn't want to fight with traffic to get to Thaitown. We order our usual basil chicken, Tom Yum soup and seafood talay. Again, it was tasty but the portion is very small. The seafood Taly has about 3' pieces of squid, bay scallops, shrimp and green mussels. The rest was filled green, red pepper and onion. Pretty steep for $18. The non-seafood dishes were reasonable. Service was excellent and your basic restaurant with few big tables. We also ordered the fried Thai banana with vanilla ice cream for dessert and it was okay.

Excellent service & excellent food. Hands down the best Thai food have had in OC. Got the red curry tofu/veggie lunch special that included a large salad & a light garlic house special soup. Sooo yum. & not heavy. Already thinking about my next visit...tip well. Service was really exceptional.

We appreciate the warmth provided here! The ownership and personnel are very nice, which makes the dining experience much more enjoyable. They are usually ready to provide suggestions because we enjoy trying new things every time we visit, and their recommendations for more or less food based on our group size are very useful. Their mango sticky rice is usually great and not too sweet. And both kinds of their Thai tea are robust and tasty! We recently had the crying tiger dish and like it so much that we requested seconds! This is our go-to Thai restaurant in Orange County.

After so many disastrous meals I really appreciated a wonderful meal at reasonably prices. I have been coming here since they took over a previous Thai restaurant that went out if business. I ordered each time I came here crying tigers which was grilled rib eyes w 2 yummy sauces n fresh salads, I enjoy the crunchy cukes n tomatoes, I'm sick n tired of restaurants giving out arugulas n kales that tasted like crabgrass n about as tasty as chewing on rubber! I dipped the salad in the sauces, it was heavenly , they grilled the tender beef to perfection, it's even tastier than anything I had in Bangkok. The Tom yum noodle soup was also so good. The Penang chicken curry was so so, I should have ordered beef as the chicken was very bland but I still think this Thai restaurant is the best, I went to every single Thai restaurant in this area n there are so many, only 2 are good, phuket n Jumpa Thai, all the others are all sub standard n are too spicy n too sweet. Their boat noodle soup is also delicious. . Don't forget to order their yummy dessert mango w sticky rice. They have great customer service, very fast service and always courteous. I feel I don't have to go to Thailand authentic Thai food is right here in Huntington Beach.
