Had dry and soup version of the duck egg noodles. Love it. You can taste the quality of broth and it's not overly salty. Had egg noodle soup combo with pork The bun baos are great probably the best I've had. Service is cool . Ambience is nice.

The food was very authentic Chinese egg noodles. The noodles were a little on the tough side. You can always ask them to make it a little soft. But I'm ok with it being slightly crunchy. We were introduced to their special, free range chicken noodles. It was mediocre. Nothing special about it. Then the waiter asked if we wanted chrysanthemum tea and I felt a little obligated to say yes. I wasn't sure if it free but turned out it wasn't. It was the way she asked and I didn't want to say no. Guess I should have said one to try. The drink was refreshing for me but more on the Chinese herbal for my husband and he wasn't a fan. Also got the seafood noodles and that was good. One thing was missing was pickled garlic. Usually for Chinese noodles, there's pickers garlic and . Remember, these places use MSG and I love soup. So I slurped the soup and drank the entire tea. Not a fancy place. Not modern. Old Chinese style restaurant from the early 90s. So don't expect anything more.

Still after all these years, it's still just as good. I ordered the duck noodle broth and it was delicious. They give you two duck legs so they do not shy on protein. The duck broth was very rich and full of flavor with each taste. We also ordered the shrimp and pork dumplings on the side to share and that was really good and a true dumpling - not a wonton called dumpling. Very tasty and not too overpowering in shrimp taste which I like. For drinks, I recommend the pandan drink. It's very coconutty and refreshing and cooling. The restaurant is small and does fill up quite fast. We came with a larger party and we had to split up due to fire safety so we couldn't combine tables.

Restaurants like Phat Ky Mi Gia feel very nostalgic for me. Only open for breakfast and a short lunch schedule. Small and quant with a small menu. Everything on the menu is good and when you come in, you'll see that pretty much everyone orders their most popular dish- mi vit tiem. My bf and I came in yest around 11a. The restaurant was half full and we were seated right away. He opted for the house special which is an egg noodle soup with an assortment of seafood and meat. The broth was so clear yet so flavorful! I got the mi vit tiem and this is my new spot for it! The duck is plentiful in this dish and its fall off the bone! The standout component is the noodles! Omg the best egg noodles I've ever had! You can tell it's made in house, slightly thicker than egg noodles you buy in store and the chewiness is addicting! We can't wait to come back! Service was awesome and everyone was very friendly as well!

If you're searching for the best Chinese-Vietnamese fusion in OC, this spot is a hidden gem! Their egg noodles are tender, floating in a rich, flavorful duck broth that marries the best of both cuisines. The juicy duck meat melts in your mouth, and their dumpling soup is comfort food at its finest. But it's not just the food--their friendly, welcoming service makes every visit feel special. With incredible flavors and warm hospitality, this place has easily become my top choice in OC. Don't miss out on this gem!

I ordered house special noodle with a few large shrimps, fish balls, squid, ground pork ect, soup on the side.Everything was tasty, noodle crunchy just like in Vietnam. The soup is salty and sweet with noticeable MSG.Will try their house special duck noodle soup next.

The service here was super quick and the waitress was extremely friendly and funny! She also spoke fluent English and was able to explain in detail when we asked her about the contents of a certain dish. I got the duck noodle soup which is what they specialize in. And it very flavorful and the duck was so tender and fall off the bone. There was a deep rich umami herbal flavor to the soup but it was also sweet. I didn't expect the soup to be sweet but added a nice contrast to the flavors. The portion is a bit small though, so I left feeling hungry. If they sold a larger portion I'd definitely be ordering that!

We ordered a large "Mi Vit Tiem" togo. They will ask for small or large. Small was $17.50. If it's a large, they'll just add extra noodles ($3). Total for a large to go was $22.29. The taste was okay, however, expensive for what it is.
