...ok the food was actually good here, and they have good Yelp reviews but it creeped me out that nobody was there at 5 pm... on a Monday night and the lady at the counter pretended not to understand my request to substitute the rice & potatoes for different sides. (Who needs TWO carbs??)Agree with other Yelpers that the green beans are bomb and so is the garlic fish!!! It literally melts in your mouth, but you MUST be a garlic lover... The empanadas are ok, but a bit overpriced IMO. The plantains are cooked well and tasty. I bought the plantains and empanadas on the side, but I didn't get out till I spent $59 for dinner for two.

A great hole in the wall restaurant with a wonderful selection of dishes. I had the Rotisserie chicken with French fries and Hawaiian salad (it's like a sweet mix of fruit and mayo etc). A few empanadas as well (very well seasoned and perfectly fried) with their tasty green sauce. I would definitely come back!

this is absolutely the worst Peruvian food ever had in my life. The portions were extremely small the meat taste tough like leather hardly any french fries in the dish and was extremely expensive $21 for 2 ounces of meat, veggies, and some rice horrible prices from this place.

Update to my previous 5 star review. Prices have continued to climb. The chauffa de pollo used to be about 12 bucks. It's now 20 bucks. I got it today, November 6, 2024. I even left a 15% tip on this take out order. The usual family worker was not there, but it was an Asian lady in a red dress. After paying 20 bucks for one dish of chicken and rice and giving her a tip on top of that, she gave me a hard time about one small container of green sauce!! For years they gave 2 of them. She actually started arguing with me until the cook told her to give me a 2nd one. Are you even kidding me? Your pricing and this new lady you brought in lost a customer you've had for years!

I went for the first time hoping to get a rotisserie chicken family meal. The lady was nice but let me know more chicken wouldn't be ready for hours. My only options were the lomo saltado plates. At $19 each they were extremely over priced for very little food. Mostly rice and fries. At other Peruvian places this price includes the aguadito and bread, but that isn't an option here. I wouldn't return.

The last two times I went the food was terrible. I'm Peruvian and I can tell you this place has some work to do. The chicken was not fresh, it was reheated and dry. The lomo saltado was swimming in soy sauce and was missing other spices that are typical in Peruvian lomo saltado. The green aji....was not aji. The lady at the cash register was nice but when she finished taking our order and payment she didn't even wash her hands or put gloves on....she went right to picking up a potato and cutting it up to place on the plate. This will be the last time I go.

Hi all, I am Peruvian and I can tell you this is the worst Peruvian rotisserie chicken I ever tried! The smell was bad , like when you store the chicken for long time. The flavor was non existent! Little flavor in the chicle skin, and when eating the chicken the smell was like boiled chicken, it was really bad. The lomo saltado was just ok. If you are Peruvian and craving pollo a la brasa, please don't come

I've been going here for years and sadly the food is progressively getting worse. I recently ordered a lomo saltado and it was over cooked, very dry and tough. Unfortunately the service has also declined. I can only hope they take the reviews to heart and make improvements to the cuisine inorder to go back being one of the best Peruvian restaurants in HB.
