First time going and we loved it. I asked about the most popular pasty and was told the beef so we ordered the small beef pasty and the peach with icing. The beef was very good. Smelled delicious from the moment we took it out of the bag. Great flavor! The peach was also good but I think I preferred the savory flavors of the beef. $8 for both and it fed two adults with some leftover. Great for lunch! We'll definitely return. Sorry, no pics, we ate too fast!

We go to the joint next door pretty frequently and saw this little place. Located where the pizza place used to be.Tiny, bare bones location. Friendly greeting upon entering and we were given a good explanation of things.Ok. I got the large beef pasty. So, when you hear the word "pasty," it conjures up images of dainty-ness, delicateness. At least for me, anyway. Quite the contrary. Like a huge, hulking body builder named Lawrence, this pasty was significant despite its name. It's a full meal with every food group represented...aside from throwing in an apple or something.Got a side of beef gravy with it. Because, why not? I've never turned down a gravy offer.It was solid. Filling is beef, spuds, carrots, onions, etc. gravy was nice. I ate the whole thing. Pastry that encases the entire job was good, flaky. It's like a hand held shepherd's pie.Simple, hearty food. Next time, we'll try the fruit filled options.Give it a go mate.

Ummm ... Best gravy ever.My husband and I tried this place yesterday for the first time and we're going back today for lunch. It's dangerously close to our house. Quick and friendly service, cool vibe and fantastic pies. Nobody needs a cherry turnover that big lol. Fresh out of the oven and delicious. Five stars all day long.

So good and filling. We ordered the beef and chorizo pasties. You can see in the pic how it's packed with meat and potatoes. I'm so happy that they brought their business to HB. I enjoyed my pasties at home with a cup of espresso. Perfect breakfast! I like that they have a 10 pasties box that you can order. I think when I have friends over I'll be serving them some delicious pasties.

The small pies of beef and chicken are more food than you realize. We also got beef and chicken gravy, a peanut butter cookie, potato salad, and an apple pie. Every single bit was absolutely delicious! I will definitely go back here again!

Decided to stop by here for a quick lunch. Got two meat pies, beef and chicken. I also got a large chicken gravy. The pies were nice and hot, coming straight out of the oven and wrapped to go. The chicken pie and gravy were very tasty. I chose the small pies and they were more than enough. There is parking out front and the store was nice and clean. Come here if you have a craving for meat pies. Happy Yelping!

What a fun surprise! Our sushi spot is two doors down but they were redoing their security system so we're closed. Since we were here, we decided to give these guys a try. So glad we did.We tried the beef pie with gravy, both the macaroni and potato salad and for dessert, the cherry turnover. With or without frosting is the same price, so go for the frosting. Everything was fresh and delicious. I see why their other locations are so popular. We're lucky to have these guys in our neighborhood.. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did.

Oh wow I have had pasties before at the Los alamitos location. So I know they're going to be awesome. On the notes to me though they have bratwurst and chorizo Oh wow wow I cannot wait to taste them. The staff there Lorenzo and Alvaro are fantastic. Super super nice people and I'm really excited because they're going to get some seating and me and my crew are going to go there and cow down. The new location that's really beautiful. I got some frozen pasties and I can't wait to eat the bratwurst of the journey so

So so yummy beef pasty, (I always order beef). I haven't tried their sweet ones yet but I so much recommend this place. The pasties are always fresh and so reasonably priced, and even with the price hikes everywhere, this place almost kept their prices the same. The staff/owners are so friendly and the place is always clean.

It's like the one location in Los Alamitos.The pasty was great I got the Turkey,stuffing and cranberry. It's delicious. Glad they're in the neighborhood
