Panda Express

This is my favorite Panda. But this review is for TODAY (1/22/25) WTH?! 11:00am no rush some deliveries coming through. Chow mein needed to be replaced, veggies JUST got replenished. I ordered 1st plate 1/2 Fried Rice 1/2 Veggies, kung pao chicken and walnut shrimp. See first picture for what was put on my plate. Mind you I stared into this dude's eyes and said "and veggies?" Because it was in front of him freshly placed. He confirmed. Put the rice and shrimp and chicken in... no veggies... i said for my 2nd plate i'll wait for new chow mein and asked for teriyaki chicken and beef and broccoli. He asked if i wanted anything else, i pointed to the vegetable egg rolls and said "yes these egg rolls" he proceded to put in the chicken egg rolls. I said i guess i'm getting chicken. The fresh noodles came out. I looked at him in a get my food please manner. He helped 3 other people before i said "can i have my food please?" He proceeded to give me my food i saw a girl prepared, i figured it was not mine because it had orange chicken and i ordered teriyaki. He handed me the bag and i said "teriyaki chicken" and he said "yes" and i said "no. Its orange chicken" then he said "oh yeah, its orange" like i was quizzing him and he just remembered the answer. I said "i ordered teriyaki chicken". He was nice enough to give me a small entre size. Me not realizing it.. I left and still did not have veggies with my first plate. I think perhaps I will just come during the dinner rush. They seem to be more organized and mentally aware.

Nice quick stop for food. Thanks for listing the calories for each item. You can choose to create a plate, bowl, or family meal. Lots to choose from. Nice service. Don't forget your fortune cookie.

Ordered online on the app. The food was ready at the specific time. They have a separate window for online pickups which I missed as the door was shut when I passed. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The portions were decent too. Ordered the hot orange chicken, chicken teriyaki, beef and broccoli, and greens. I just wish they'd cut the greens into smaller pieces. The cabbage and broccoli are massive sizes! I asked for an extra fortune cookie and was given one without hesitation.

Went here around 9:45pm Thursday 1/23/25 and ordered chow mein with walnut shrimp. around 12:30am was violently vomiting it all back up. this happened 3 more times through the morning. just heaving. I thought I was dying. never had food poisoning before. fever came later and diarrhea. I am furious. I will never go back to Panda Express again and will most definitely reconsider going out to eat ever again. THE WORST. I hope it didn't hurt me in ways I don't know yet. awful.

Can't go wrong with some panda express. This spot in the Tustin Marketplace is located next to Yogurtland and is fairly large compared to some other spots I have been to. Parking should be fine.I'll get it out the way now, I am a basic double orange chicken and chow mein guy. On this day though, they had a new honey sesame chicken breast and thought I'd give it a shot since I ordered a bigger plate. The new item, while not as iconic as the signature orange chicken, is a solid entree item and I enjoyed having a different flavor for once. Individually, the orange chicken is still better but it was worth trying the chicken breast due to be being able to have a variety. I would definitely come back to try it again!

Decent Panda Express except the instructions for mobile pickup are unclear. It tells you to go to the cashier when there's a shelf. I gave in and went to Panda Express! Between Hong Kong Express and Panda Express - Panda is always a better choice. The portion is not as "generous' as other Chinese fast food but they do taste cleaner and more meats. Their Orange Chicken is always CRISPY and actually has meats inside. Flavorful and tender Beijing Beef/Beef with Broccoli/Steaks. Chow Mein/Fried rice were okay. I finished my whole plate. The only downside of these kinds of food is I get HUNGRY a few hours after after eating. Staff was cleaning constantly and everyone is busy behind the counter preparing food. Very friendly and accomodating. There was plenty of seats inside and outside as well. It was a cold rainy day so it was not as busy like other days. Parking - plenty inside a shopping area in Irvine. There are pizza places, Vietnamse food, mediterranean, Indian and Baja Fresh etc..in this shopping corner. On sunny days, I would see family, friends and little kids hanging out by the water fountain area outside Panda Express. It's nice to see around Irvine.

The girls serving the food were really nice, but when I got to the register, the cashier, Pardis G, was quite rude. When I tried to scan my rewards before paying, she had already processed the transaction and got an attitude, saying I should have told her beforehand. Then, when I handed her my gift card, she scanned it once, claimed there was no money on it, and handed it back. I told her there was money on the card as I hadn't used it yet. She seemed annoyed but scanned it again, and it worked. I understand busy nights and you can get stressed out but it's not okay to take it out on the costumers.

Always a great experience coming here for lunch when Erwin is working. Not sure if he's the manager here but he always goes above and beyond for every single customer that walks through the door.Panda Express, if you're reading this, Erwin deserves a huge promotion! Thank you, Erwin!
