I really wanted to give a good rating, but the portions for the "affordable pricing" weren't worth it. My daughter got a medium magonada that was halfway filled and the mini scoop of ice cream for a regular-sized scoop was ridiculous. My children and I walked in and it was the lady owner. No smile or hi. Even after we said hello to her. Customer Service was not as friendly as I thought it would be. I should have just left. I didnt speak spanish but I come enough to experience this again and again.. The energy was off, but it was a hot day and my kids needed something to cool them down while waiting. Needless to say.. do better.. They were more engaging to someone else there that gave them attitude.. do better please. I'll make the drive elsewhere to avoid bad crappy energy crabby patties.

Subpar paletas. Got about 5 paletas de agua and 4 milk paletas. Most of them tasted watered down. The mango with chamoy paleta was tart. I got my baby a mango paleta de agua was it was super sweet almost like it was made with syruo or something. Got the fresas con crema ice cream and it tasted bland. My husband got the oreo ice crean and it tasted like it had cinnamon in it..rather weird. Would not recommend this place. I think we were over charged.. we payed about $30 ...next time I'll head to the Michoacana on Warner and Bristol.

Some of the best paletas I've ever had. I just wish there was a location that was closer to Long Beach.

Oh My Fricken Delicious...So, the story the old folks like to talk about is how the OC was once nothing but orange trees and strawberry fields and that they are all but history...Well, the strawberry fields may be gone but the strawberries sure aren't! I found some of the tastiest homemade ice cream with the tastiest strawberries right here in Santa Ana! You can order ice cream and banana splits or go straight for the water based paletas or my favorite...Cream Paletas. The Fresa y Crema was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!Easy parking around the back and walk into the mini plaza.Bring Cash...about two bucks a pop (pun intended).I am a fan and then some! 4.5 Stars

I wanted mangonada, and this place was a disappointment. I paid $5 for a tiny cup of mango sorbet and chamoy sauce. I expected fresh mango slices and the chile stick thingy. Not to mention, this location is REALLY hard to find and in a very shady area. I don't think this should be rated 4 stars on Yelp. Yelp buddy Quoc's review helped a little with finding the ice cream shop. On Main, you can get there two ways. Turn on Commerce and park in the lot. Walk towards the building and you'll see the hallway. The store is in the middle, so you can't see it from the street. The shop is across an alcoholics anonymous gathering room.. The second way to get there is to park in the corner of the Superior grocery store parking lot and walk to the side walk on the left side of the grocery store (away from the flower shop). Keep walking past the arcade place, and turn in the hallway before you hit Commerce Street. It's on the right side. This is a very small ice cream shop, and although I should give them credit for making their own ice cream, I don't feel comfortable making purchases here. I can imagine it being really icky and sticky during the hot summer, which is what you do NOT want in the summer. You want an air-conditioned ice cream shop that will provide you with nice seats and tables to enjoy your dessert. They barely have two tables and a few folding chairs. If you do decide to venture out here, make sure you bring cash. They don't accept cards.

Homemade ice cream for under $3! As previously noted, cash only & off the beaten path. They have water-based popsicles much like sorbet & cream-based ice cream in all kinds of fun flavors like tequila & mamey! The tequila ice cream had a hint of liquor flavor mixed with almonds, giving it a rich, smooth texture. My friend got the mango with chimoya & chile sprinkled on it, a nice Mexican style. The workers are quick, attentive & efficient to boot. I'll be back for sure when I'm in the area!

I was there yesterday and bought tostilocos and my daughter cookies n cream ice cream. The lady was very nice and courteous, prices are reasonable and the place is super clean. The only down comment I can make is that the cucumber and jicama on my tostilocos were big chunks I wished they were dice up is smaller pieces but that's al, the taste though was on point. I'm not a big ice cream fan but I tasted my daughters ice cream and it was delicious and yes I definitely recommend the place. ONLY CASH
