Have you ever struggle finding an AYCE sushi spot for late nights? I know I usually do (sometime I crave sushi at 9pm, and by then most spots are close). Ozen tho is open until way past midnight! I love it has a la carte or AYCE option for you to choose.I always bring my family/friends here to enjoy ayce and their sushis are always consistently delicious! The staff are friendly and attentive about our drinks or if we are missing any sauces. There are plenty of seats indoor and outdoors and the environment feels quaint. I recommend trying this spot out if youre ever around the area!

If you're craving an all-you-can-eat sushi experience that has variety, Ozen Sushi (just around the corner from Knott's) is a solid choice. They have a smaller inside that fills up quickly and a large patio to accommodate larger parties! Highlights:- Crispy Rice Tuna, perfect bite size!- Carpaccio, Whether it's tuna or yellowtail, the carpaccio options are delicate and full of toppings- Hot Night Roll, A crowd-pleaser, this roll combines spice and sweetness with a satisfying crunch. Wish it had a little more heat and spice!- Tuna Cracker, A creative dish with a perfect balance of tuna and a crispy cracker base.- Peach Hana Awaka Sparkling, delightful, fruity drink that pairs wonderfully with the sushi. The many options on the AYCE menu keep things mixed up! Whether you're in the mood for sushi, sashimi, or creative rolls, and lots of appetizer option, something toIf you're in the area or planning to hit Knott's, this is definitely worth a stop for all you can eat!

Servers were friendly, took care of us, didn't really need anything. Small interior, cozy, relatively casual.Seared salmon was the best, had some soy something along with the dot of hot sauce made it my favorite. I'm not a sushi guy but a friend was feeling sushi. Salmon collar you're only allowed one. Quality was OK, not great, not bad.Shrimp skewer is a pass although there is a healthy amount of shrimp in there. Mushroom skewer was interesting.Friend really liked their water which is funny since he said he is sensitive to both water and ice, seems like it's very clean LOLUh, overall it's not the best spot as It was hyped out by some people I think for AYCE sushi. Personally, for the price, I'd rather eat Thirsty Cow but I did thoroughly enjoy the seared salmon pieces and it's a nice place with it's own parking lot which seems to have no issue with space (Monday night though). Can be a little dark further away from the building but it's an enclosed lot so shouldn't be any issue there really.

This little hidden gem offers both AYCE and ala cart.Their menu is large enough to have a few items you enjoy yet small enough you don't get lost. The restaurant is small, cozy and clean. They offer a covered patio for those days you wish to dine outdoors. The service is efficient and friendly. At first I didn't think there was anyone at the restaurant as there were no cars parked out front but it was pretty packed and I found there was plenty of parking out back. They have some yummy apps including one I could eat a boat load of their spicy garlic edamame. I couldn't get enough, thankfully I went with the AYCE We enjoyed their rolls and tried a new to me dish that was spicy tuna crispy rice. It was both delicious and fun to eat. They offer a variety of apps, sushi, hand rolls, baked rolls, tempura rolls, veggie rolls, classic rolls and no rice rolls. What we had: Hot night rollTataki rollCilantro albacore rollCrazy salmon roll (no rice rolls)Baked Baked Green MusselTuna carpaccioSpicy tuna crispy rice We left stuffed and happy!

OVERALL : AYCE sushi in OC open until 2am!! OC has plenty of AYCE sushi spots, but I was glad that I discovered Ozen bc they are open late and great for a late night out with friends or a casual sushi date! It's a low-key spot, but they have a lot of items on their menu which you can get a-la-carte or AYCE. They had both indoor and outdoor seating and service was quick on a late night when we came around 9pm. PARKING : They have a parking lot behind the restaurant! FOOD/DRINKS :You'll find all your classic rolls here, as well as nigiri, handrolls, baked rolls, carpaccio, tempura, sashimi, udon, and ramen. They also had plenty of alcohol to go with the meal - we got a nigori cloudy sake (strawberry) and it was great! Tasted like juice after a while LOLThe portions / ratios were perf for AYCE -- not too big so that I could try a bunch of different things. My favs were the spicy tuna crispy rice, carpaccio, seared salmon, scallop, spicy tuna, and the hamachi collar. The fish quality/selection is of course, as expected, not going to be like a fancy upscale omakase meal, but that is to be expected at a casual AYCE spot. For an AYCE spot, the fish is fresh and tasted clean! Would def come back again next time for a late night meal.

Finally found a great place open till 2am!We had a late play showing and we were craving sushi. Of course by the time we got to a restaurant they were all closing. Luckily one of the closing places recommended Ozen Sushi and we headed there right away. The place is kind of small with cozy indoors and plenty of seating outside. It was too cold for us at 11pm so we sat inside. The service was speedy and although we didn't get the AYCE we got a couple of plates and it was more than plenty.I've been back just for their amazing salmon skin salad as a to go order and it literally lasts me 2 days. Their rolls were very fresh and tasty, we can't wait to go back earlier for the AYCE though!

An AYCE sushi spot that's open late! Lots of options of appetizers, sashimi, classic rolls, special rolls and baked rolls. Service is on point and very efficient. If you opt for the AYCE menu, you get three rounds to eat which is more than enough for me since we picked most of our options on the first round. My favorite were all the carpaccios and the baked rolls, especially the scallop baked one. There's enough options to try to fill you up. Great place for the area!

Ozen Sushi in Buena Park is a solid spot for fresh, flavorful AYCE sushi. The sashimi is melt-in-your-mouth good, and the specialty rolls are a nice mix of creativity and balance. Highlights for me were the baked rolls and the crispy spicy tuna rice--definitely worth trying if you're into those. Simple, satisfying, and worth the visit!

Food is great, large selection of sushis and the rolls we tried were unique and delicious. We got a la carte, but they also have AYCE until very late at night. Ambience is cool, lots of parking available in the back and service is nice and fast. Highly recommend it!

Solid AYCE sushi restaurant that opens late (until 2 AM)! The dinner rush on a Friday night was insane because they were short-staffed, so kudos to all the servers for handling everything with a smile and an upbeat attitude. The orders came out relatively quickly despite the busyness. I did notice some sloppy rolls that fell apart when picked up, but I did not mind too much. A couple of items were missed in the first round, but it was fine because I ordered them again in the second round. The only weird thing was the tamago (egg) roll... If you come for dinner, definitely take advantage of the dinner-only specials. All the carpaccio was delicious, especially with the bright, slightly acidic sauce. You cannot go wrong with the baked mussels; the smokiness from the char and the creaminess from the sauce worked so well together. I personally love salmon eggs (ikura), but I know that they are not palatable for everyone, so take caution. All of the "no rice" rolls were great (and actually quite filling). The hot items were amazing as well, especially the skewers, which were fresh and hot off the grill. The salmon collar was well-cooked too; it had a nice, golden crust and the meat inside was still super tender and juicy. It was not seasoned though, so enjoy it with some soy sauce. Skip out on the udon--we are not here to eat carbs like that. Overall, solid for $40 AYCE sushi, which is the average price nowadays.
