Ostioneria Bahia Mexican & Seafood

I have come here a few times with coworkers and friends for lunch. They do get pretty busy but staff is great. I think they understand that most are there for lunch so need to get back to work quick because the service is quick. I normally order the taco meal with carne asada and with cheese only, it is my go to. The meat is cooked evenly, seasoned perfectly, and not burned. The meal comes with rice and beans but I am not a fan of the rice. Beans are great, though. As you are ready to check out or pay your bill, there is a huge selection of Mexican candy. Anything you can think of: mazapan, chicle, limon bags, etc. Definitely brings back all those childhood memories growing up in LA and visiting friends and family in Mexico. So next time, you are looking for a quick serviced lunch, stop by Ostioneria Bahia, they got good food and great service.

Stopped by for lunch while getting my tires done next door at America's tires. It's such a cute, homey restaurant and I love sitting in booths. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was huge! Generous portions of chicken, served with a side of sour cream and guacamole. Their salsa is fire.Service was great and food came out fast. Food was quick, delicious, and loved that I was in and out in 30 minutes! A perfect quick and solid lunch spot.

I came in at 3pm on a weekday Service was good but food was OVER priced and not worth it. $25 total for 2 enchiladas One of the guys came over to bring me chips & salsa which is usually complimentary at Mexican restaurants and they charged me $1 Like what???? For 1 person (myself) to eat 2-3 chips The rice isn't your typical Mexican rice. Beans were good but not enough to pay $30 with tip for 1 meal Won't be returning

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I've been coming here for over a decade and both the quality of service and food has never wavered. My standard go to is the camarones a la Diabla and they are absolutely to die for. The staff is always so kind and accommodating. Regardless if you dine in or take out they have always take their time and really show you how much they value their customers. I also enjoy that they sell Mexican candies at the front so I always make sure to grab some on my way out. If you have not visited I highly recommend it!

I was really craving some ceviche over the weekend so I decided to visit this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of their ceviche. It had a Clamato/ ketchup taste to it which you usually get in a coctel de camaron, not ceviche. However, the tacos were amazing! I highly recommend the al pastor and carnitas tacos here. This ostioneria surprised me because I felt that their tacos were better than their mariscos. Maybe I need to try other mariscos options on their menu. I thought the prices were a bit high for the amount of food. For example, the medium guacamole came in a pretty small container. The service was great, however. I also loved the restaurant decor and the fact that they sell Mexican candies at the front of the restaurant. Their jamaica and orange juice were also delicious and you could tell that they were made from scratch.

Hi this place is usually great except for my last visit. To start off with I'm extremely allergic to avocado. I wanted to try something different so I ordered a torta before placing it I asked our server what ingredients it had. She never mentioned avocado. Otherwise I would have told her to omit that ingredient. I got my order and it had avocado. No problem there I told the server, for some reason she had an attitude and responded with saying all tortas have avocado. She didn't say that when I asked her for the ingredients. We asked if we could just get the top bread without avocado. She insisted on replacing the whole thing. 10 minutes later as my partners food is already cold they bring out my torta. They brought it back with extra avocado. As if it was a joke to them. At that point we decided to leave. We kindly asked them to remove both dishes from the bill because my partner didn't eat her food due to the bad experience. We did pay for our drinks. The manager or owner didn't seem to care he was an older gentleman with glasses. Didn't offer an apology or anything. I made a mistake by not getting our servers name or else I would be posting it on this review. I felt like this incident needed to be publicly made.

Food - The Filete a la Diabla was delicious, the sauce was garlicy, buttery and perfectly spicy! Unfortunately the Filete Bahia was not the best. It did not taste parmesan and had a mushy outer shell. Overall, food is decent depending on what is ordered. Service - Super friendly!Ambiance - Cute and homey.

Every time I have come to this place the food is always fresh and good served , place is great as far as seating and theme really Mexican , when it comes to service sometimes it lacks of great service as our waitress forgot to bring some items and didn't check with us often , but is a fair game place with fresh food

Great service and delicious good. Recommended their enchiladas verdes which comes with rice and beans, asada tacos and menudo.

This has been my favorite restaurant -- until tonight!!Young man brought our drinks, no words, no smile. Drinks usually come with chips and salsa - nothing! We finally asked the hostess, who brought it at least 10 minutes after we were seated The sever arrived and I specifically requested no cheese, three times, and when our dinners arrived, mine was covered in cheese! I told the server and she took it back to the kitchen. We waited. Finally, I told my husband to eat because his dinner was getting cold. They never offered to keep his dinner warm. A new tostada arrived with only a small piece of tortilla under a scoop of chicken and I ate by myself. Great Valentine's Dinner together!! Wondering if this restaurant has changed hands!! Such a disappointing evening.
