First timer here!Located in a strip mall. Not hard to find parking. It's a clean restaurant with lots of seating. Outdoor patio with a dog friendly space.Service is excellent. Menu is simple with ample pancake options and even a heavily egg washed French toast. Opted for the pumpkin pancakes - this is a pass for me. The flavors are too overwhelming, I sent it back for their traditional buttermilk.

I've been to the HB location of OPH, but 4got to write a review. The experiences in the past have been positive. This time I had Eggs Michael (sausage patties and poached eggs on top of English muffins w/ sherry & mushroom sauce) and 4 potato pancakes. The food was really good & hearty. The eggs were nicely poached, and the patties were large enuf to cover the muffins. The sauce didn't overpower the dish, and the pancakes were nice and crispy. I couldn't finish my meal. The only downside was the price (most entrees are ~ $20).Regarding the ambiance, the decor is basic, but warm. Likewise, the staff is friendly, attentive and efficient. The food came out quickly for 4 of us.The main reason why I don't come to OPH more often is mija is allergic to peanuts, and they use peanut oil here. This visit was w/ my golf buddies, so maybe we'll add OPH to our rotation.

The Original Pancake House: Not to be confused with that "international" pancake chain, because trust me, this place is the real deal. If you even think about ordering something other than pancakes, you're making a huge mistake. Their pancakes are fluffy, flavorful, and make you question why you've ever eaten anything else for breakfast. The Dutch Baby? It's the pancake equivalent of a warm hug wrapped in crispy edges, gooey center, and a custard-like texture that sends you straight into a Sunday morning trance. Add lemon and powdered sugar, and you're in a state of pure bliss. And let's talk about their coffee--strong enough to wake the dead, and they refill it like it's their mission to keep you buzzing. By the time we left, I'd had about five cups and was happily tweaking out of the restaurant like a caffeine-fueled squirrel. Totally worth the wait!

Service and food were fine. Hate giving bad reviews but this was an unfortunate situation and wanted to warn others. My mom's purse was stolen as we ordered our food. Management was helpful and we should have been a bit more careful with placement of the purse on the chair but we were in the middle of the restaurant, near several other tables and up against a wall so we were not on as high alert as normal. Be vigilant, not sure why random people are able to stroll through the store past the hostess/check in area.

I met a group of friends for brunch here. The servers were very friendly despite how busy it was in the restaurant. The food everyone ordered looked delicious and the portions were a good size. I ordered decaf coffee with a side of home - made whipped cream. The serving size of whip cream was a little over one teaspoon per serving. I don't like the prepackaged milk products available in bulk at the table at no additional charge. There wasn't an additional charge for the second cup of coffee. That is a plus because the cost of black decaf was $4.29. The coffee was average- nothing to complain about and nothing to say wow. It didn't taste like it was freshly ground coffee beans like I make at home but I would not be certain. When the bill came, it surprised me to see a charge is $2.99 for the side of whip cream. I didn't say anything to my companions since I'm older and accepted it. My 30 year old companion was shocked and kept repeating over and over that she couldn't believe the additional charge for the whip cream. Clearly she saw this as shocking and unbelievable . She validated what I thought. The charge was excessive. This information is just that- and if management sees this, revisit the quality of the coffee when placing a cost on the simplicity of the coffee or increase the quality of coffee. The whip cream was delicious. In total I was served just under 3 teaspoons of delicious whipped cream. The cost of the average tasting coffee should have covered the whip cream in my humble opinion.

Had a craving for buttermilk pancakes and decided to order from this place since it was near my Pilates studio. A full order consists of 6 pancakes, which sounds like a lot, but the pancakes here are smaller than at other places. Unfortunately, my craving wasn't satisfied. Pancakes were missing the buttermilk flavor, were a little on the eggier side, and had just a touch of too much baking soda.

Gets busy on the weekends but the food is all around good and the service is warm! The flapjacks had a good chew to it and was different then the crepe shells. I would come back for the flapjacks! Omelettes also were hearty and filling. Cozy diner vibes, busy local spot!

So good. Just a reliable breakfast spot. Apple pancakes are great if you split it. Omelettes are also good, and you can swap the plain pancakes for a fun flavor for not that much extra. Swedish pancakes are great too! The servers were soooooo frequently checking on us & refilling water & coffee which was nice. Thanks for taking good care of us on my mom's bday

The wait was long, but the food and service were fantastic. The decor inside is also really cute.We had a party of 9 and ordered a big array of dishes including the eggs Michael, eggs Benedict, fried potatoes, chocolate chip potatoes, bacon and eggs, buttermilk pancakes, and potato pancakes. The potato pancakes were bland and generic, but everything else was really delicious! The portions are quite large, so a few of us shared meals and were more than satisfied. I would definitely go back again when I'm in the area in the future.
