omomo is still to this day my favorite boba spot! the omomo matcha and strawberry tornado are always my go to and i love how consistent the quality is irvine location is always busy but have been to both chino hills and brea which are less busy

Was finally able to enjoy a couple of Omomo drinks & the hype is real. Quality drinks where the descriptions really match the end product. Arriving at 8:45pm with 15 or so minutes before closing the wait was 20 min. & so worth it.Orders:White Peach w/Foam-just enough peach flavor that didn't over power the tea leaves & adding the form resulted in a salty creamy finish, but make sure to mix the drink first.Excellent from start to finish.Gyokura w/Foam- floral tea leaf flavor that lingers after you take a sip, such a wonderful tea drink it's no wonder why it is a favorite for most people.Strawberry Tornado-fresh strawberry puree blended into this tornado with a creamy finish.With the competitive world of boba shops, Omomo really stands out.

Came here around lunch time and the wait was not too bad (~15 minutes?). I got my favorite, the Omomo matcha with added oreo, and tried the Ococoa, which is one of their seasonal banana drinks. I've reviewed the Omomo matcha already, so i'll focus on the Ococoa:This drink was very fun! It's basically a banana dark chocolate smoothie and tastes like a frozen banana dipped in chocolate. The dark chocolate is not as bitter as I was expecting it to be, but even if it were, the banana sweetens the drink. I made no modifications or add-ons to it, and I don't think you'd really need to. It would be a great drink for the summer - hopefully this drink stays for longer!

If you love matcha, the Omomo Matcha is a great option. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Tornado drink. The service was good, and although the line was long, it moved quickly. There is outdoor seating, but indoor seats are mostly taken by people waiting for their drinks.

Good but NOT worth 45 mins in line to order + 10 min wait time for drink. Honestly, they need a kiosk to help with the ordering line. I got the Ceylon Milk Tea Creamomo with Tiramusu foam and it was delicious, but still not worth the wait. Nothing life changing, but I was satisfied with my beverage. I did not add boba, as I thought there was already a lot going on.While I'm glad I got a chance to try the infamous OMOMO, I'd wait 20 mins max.

My cousin-in-law took me here as she iinsisted I try this tea bar nearby where I was. We arrived at 205pm and there was a long line out the door. We waited about 20 minutes before making to the register to order our drinks. During this time, the line just gets longer as it moves up. We ordered the following drinks;1. Mango Tornado (i didn't try this as it was my cousin-in-law's drink. It has a layer of cut up mango bits at the bottom, then a cremation in the middle and blended mango puree on top.2. White Peach Tea w/ aloe vera (50% sweet): The drink itself as a whole is good with the sweet level just right for me. However, the tea is really strong as it left a bitter taste in my mouth after and the aloe vera was not sweet and not crunchy.3. Uji Green Milk Tea w/ boba (50% sweet): My husband had this drink. He says he enjoyed it as the matcha was mild, however, he also felt the tea was strong leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. He says the boba is soft and lightly sweetened. 4. Strawberry Yakult w/ boba, 80% sweet: a very yummy and light drink for my 9yo son. He enjoyed it but didn't think the boba add on went well with the drink. I'm amazed by how fast I got my order given how busy the tea bar was. It took about 7 minutes for my order to be ready. There is a system in place that seems efficient. Very organized. The staff at the register was very welcoming and friendly in answering my questions as this is my first visit. I would definitely return next time when I'm in town.

I have previously been to the other location and was surprised to see that it closed down. OMOMO is very much hyped up in the Irvine area and is known for extremely long lines. I came around 12 on a Monday. Thought I'd be able to at least beat the line by coming early on a weekday. Nope. Still around a 35 minute wait total from waiting in line to getting my drink. Service was friendly and quick, interior is very small with very limited seating. Definitely not a place to sit and study, more of a grab your drink and leave type of vibe.OMOMO Matcha (3.5/5): Their signature drink with blended creamy matcha and matcha brûlée swirl around the cup. Was it good? Yes. Was it mind-blowing and worth the 35 minute wait? No. I will say their drink is definitely on the sweeter side for matcha and it just didn't feel as smooth or that high quality of a matcha. There were some ice chunks in my drink too. Alright to get if you're going with friends and have people to keep you company in the lines. If you're just casually trying to get a drink on the go, there's other places with better options without the super long wait.

There's always a line at OMOMO no matter the time, but it stands out among the other boba shops in Irvine! Once you place your order, you get your drinks pretty quickly (within 10-15 min).Matcha Cortado (5/5, $7)- Great Matcha flavor. I've tried it with 100% sugar and 50% sugar before, and both options are good so depending on personal preference- Their brown sugar boba is nice and chewyMy friends ordered the Ceylon milk tea (4.5/5) and Uji green milk tea (4.5/5) and they enjoyed their orders as well. There's very limited seating inside and most of it is taken up by people waiting for their orders. However, there's a ton of outdoor seating outside in the square.If you're on the go and trying to pick up boba quickly, OMOMO isn't the most efficient spot but if you have the time, I'd say the boba is definitely worth the wait!

While visiting from the Bay, I kept hearing about how amazing Omomo is, so I had to check it out. I ordered the Oreo Brulee Green Tea and the Avocado Smash. The line was quite long, and we ended up waiting a while for our drinks.I was especially excited to try the Oreo Brulee after seeing so many rave reviews, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I actually enjoyed the Avocado Smash more. The ambiance inside is cute and inviting. I'd consider coming back to try other drinks, but based on this experience, it was just okay for me.
