Great food, great service, and great portions! My friend and I were so impressed with this place! We weren't expecting anything too special as it's a chain, but immediately the host and our waiter were very nice and friendly. We ordered The Soul In a Bowl and the French Toast Trifle, both of which again exceeded our expectations. It's a little hard to tell from the pictures, but the portion sizes are very generous and both dishes were super flavorful. I was especially impressed with the french toast as the lemon curd wasn't overly tart like it is in some dishes and there was plenty of fruit, which seems like a rarity at restaurants these days. The torched pavlovas were also a very unique touch and added a nice contrasting texture. We definitely plan to come again!

Good food, great service, and chic interior made a wonderful dining experience after a 12-mile run at the Back Bay. Giovanni was the ultimate waiter. He was friendly, helpful, and always attentive. The decor was tasteful, artistic, if not a bit whimsical. So why only four stars? The food was just good. I liked my carbonara gnocchi, but it was a bit salty and not as fragrant as I anticipated. Perhaps my expectation was too elevated from all the glowing reviews.I'll try a different menu item next time.

THREW UP! I ordered the "Holy Crab" and I got sick 30 minutes after. Someone didn't WASH THEIR HANDS or the ARTISAN GREENS. NO, I don't plan on ever coming here again. Which is too bad because I liked the service. Nothing worse than someone not washing their hands or the food before you eat it. Yeah, I know I should eat only the food I make myself. We know!

This is the perfect place when one wants to indulge in decadently delicious breakfast or lunch. The food options are impressive and creative and tantalize the eyes and tastebuds. We've been here a few times and really like the...- Lobster scramble: Lobster & shrimp scramble, green onions, American Asiago cheese, brown butter hollandaise. - Get shorty: Fresh cheese curds, Philly-style beef short-rib, bell peppers, red onions, wild & cultivated mushrooms, brown butter hollandaise- French toast trifle: Brioche, lemon curd, market berries, pistachios, torched pavlovasThe dishes come with potatoes but you can sub spinach, arugula, or 1/2 potatoes and 1/2 greens. For those who don't want the cholesterol overload, there are plenty of healthier options that look really good.Service is excellent, too. Special shout out to Lucy!

OEB is a vibrant & bold breakfast spot where familiar classics are driven by a heightened focus on quality and freshness. OEB's service was impeccable, and our server made us feel like family. The signature bowls are the specialties of OEB, and they tasted phenomenal! The Soul in the Bowl was such a hearty mix of nutritious tastes, and each component was seasoned beautifully. The herb potato wedges were insanely flavorful, and the large bacon bits enhanced the combining flavors of the dish. The option to substitute a green for half of the base truly lightened up the bowl. Because of OEB's dedication to selecting the finest produce and ingredients, the reflection of this is noticeable. I will be coming back to try the other signature bowls!

Came here to meet a friend and wasn't expecting much because it's tucked away in a small shopping center. I was pleasantly surprised! Got the French toast and it was SO delicious. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you- everyone was friendly. The restaurant is cute and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Minus one star because it seems a little overpriced for ordering at a counter vs having wait staff.

I came here around 11:30 on a Saturday and waited maybe only 15 minutes for a table. The music and overall vibe was great. Staff was very friendly. The menu actually had so many enticing items, but I went with the gnocchi breakfast carbonara and my boyfriend with the threesome. Both were lovely, however the scrambled eggs were just a bit watery. The mimosa flight was alright, my personal favorite being the pineapple flavor. Iced caramel coffee was well done. I would definitely come again.

Amazing breakfast! OC hidden gem alert! Must get the lobster and shrimp scramble! Are you one of those people who dislikes how breakfast places always overload you with carbs and don't offer substitutions (or charge you for it)?!? Not here! You can substitute the potatoes for Arugula/spinach, or half greens and half starch! No more carb coma after breakfast. Service is really nice! Not fake, genuine. The only thing I would say needs improvement is that sometimes the food comes out before you even get your drinks. This has happened to us the past two times we visited, but if you're not afraid to advocate for yourself then it's no big deal.

Their potato wedges are out of this world. Very, very crispy, fried in something special. I got the vegetable primavera scramblette, and it was good. My friends tried the vegetable crepe, yogurt, and eggs Benedict. It's cute inside, the ambiance and decor. The service was friendly. We got there Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., and it was busy. We were lucky to get a table within 10 minutes. It's light and bright inside. There's patio seating as well. After your meal, you can walk around the plaza as it includes Pandor, Afters Ice cream, Fresh Brothers Pizza, Ralph's, CVS, and lots of other stores. If I come back, I'll try the waffles because they looked and smelled so delicious! Cute place to eat and catch up with friends. I would say the crowd included a lot of older folks and a little bit of variety of ages and cultures.

A friend recommended OEB Breakfast to me and told me about the various breakfast entrees. When we got in, it wasn't quite busy, so we were sat quickly and offered our coffee immediately. The servers were on top of things, but as they got busy, it was hard to get our server's attention so thankfully all the servers and the owner were willing to work with each other and we weren't left sitting there to wait. We tried two of their popular entrees, one being the bulgogi benny. It was delicious and well prepared. There was something they use which I believe was like a pickled pepper that I did not care for, so for me it changed the overall flavor and taste. That's just a personal preference and not that the entree was not good, because it was still a delicious dish. The other item we ordered was the lobster scramble. With chunks of lobster and shrimp, this was very good. I'm just not used to a breakfast entree being over $25.00, but we are in New Port Beach after all. I would come back if I'm in the new port area for breakfast again in the future.
