Decent Q, best we've tried so far in the area over some years.Nice booths, various sports games on displays around the central bar and elsewhere. Proper stiff Bullet Proof Old Fashioned for a drink starter, great service from Nancy, locals and local cops enjoying lunch - in case there's a scene from Pulp Fiction happening.Got the rib sampler, with the sides it lasted for 3 meals for me.Shrimp cocktail to start - perfectly brined shrimp and house cocktail sauce, but the sauce container needs to be flatter so you can get the sauce... on the shrimp!Cornbread was great, a bit dense which we prefer over mealy - and proper whipped butter. Great sides, like we make at home, the coleslaw if it had some black pepper and ground celery seed - would have tasted like the legendary Shorty's in South Miami. Sadly the corncob was underboiled, tired out. Mac & cheese with that brand of cheese you know that's like velvet, could've ordered two.The ribs, St. Louis upper ribs rocked, nice amount of fat, shy of falling off the bone - proper. Everything apparently BBQ'd and not smoked, which we prefer.Lower baby backs were a bit rough and tough, both were over sauced, NRC provides a side of sauce with the sampler, provide a brush and one can lay it down to taste. The "Flintstone" beef ribs were good - until the salt hit. Oversalted. But oh yeah, we'll be back.
