New Trieu Chau Restaurant

My go to place for egg noodle soup in OC. Owners and staff are always super friendly. Service is quick and clean. My bf always orders the Trieu Chau White and Yellow/ Hu Tieu Mi Trieu Chau and I always get Trieu Chau Yellow/ Mi Trieu Chau. Their portions always fill us up. Soup is tasty. Gotta get the steam beansprouts. Great place for a comfort meal. Highly recommend. NOTE: Cash only. They speak English, Vietnamese and Chinese (canto)

Ordered stir fried steak rice noodles and ran to rest room cuz bacteria's caused my stomach ache and it's like water.Worst restaurant in that area.I'll not eat there any more.

This spot is one of my favorite restaurants for comfort food. I usually alternate between the Trieu Chau White Noodle and Trieu Chau Yellow Noodle, with thick noodles over thin. The broth is so light and I love the protein included in this bowl. I always feel great after eating here since I don't feel heavy afterwards. There's usually no wait when we go so we get seated instantly and the workers are really attentive. I'm always satisfied with the service here. Highly recommend if you're in the Westminster/Garden Grove area and in need of a "soup" fix!

This place is real comfort food for me. I grew up eating this type of noodles and I can never get sick of it. The bonus is that there is a Yelp waitlist. We were fourth on the list but once we checked in they found us a spot quickly. They do have their own parking lot for parking. We decided to go for two dishes and a side order of Chinese donuts. We went with seafood noodles with soup and seafood Chow fun with gravy. Both dishes were cooked well. The Chinese donut was a bit more doughy and reminded me of a hybrid of a Viet donut and a Chinese donut. It tasted really good dipped in the soup. I wanted to try their Shu Mai but it was already sold out by the time I got there. I arrived around 10 AM so I would come early next time to try it out. Overall, if you have any cravings for anything noodles this is where you should check out.

It's definitely still a 5-star rating, which is wild because the original location on Newhope is better! This is a staple for me. I eat here at least once every time I come back home. I've had so much on the menu and haven't been disappointed once!

This place was highly recommended by a friend, and I was finally able to give it a try! I came with a big expectation, and left disappointed! We ordered 3 of the noodle soup dishes shown in the pictures, and house fried rice.Service was good, portion size was big enough to feed two people in my opinion, but flavor was missing! I've tried Mien Nghia and Kim Kee in SGV and this didn't come close to those two places I mentioned. Too bad I didn't take a picture of the fried rice, but I've never seen any fried rice that came with sugat snap peas before. The portion was made half of the big cuts of cabbage, sugar snap peas, and shredded carrots. Again, you wouldn't find that good flavor fried rice you normally found in Vietnamese restaurants. I brought some leftover noodle soup home for my daughter who really loves Vietnamese food and she couldn't even finished it. Her excitement turned into disappointment as well. Not sure if I'll give this restaurant another try! I think I'll stick with Mien Nghia and Kim Kee!

This place is amazing!!! Me and my wife have been at this restaurant for 20 years and now we have a 10 year old daughter who absolutely loves this place! The food is delicious and all the workers know us like close friends!!

The restaurant is dirty, the table, chairs utensils, floor were dirty, the man at the cashier was coughing away and my hu tieu Nam Vang was tasteless! I will not be back.

Decent hu tiêu năm vàng!! They give lots of noodles! Service is quick and friendly! Parking was easy and simple!

This place has the best Bo luc lac you can find. The meat is always extremely tender and flavorful and the red rice is amazing. This also comes with a soup on the side which is really refreshing. They always have great service and the food comes out really quickly. I highly recommend coming to try this place out.
