Great option for Chinese food. Tastes delicious. Service and food takes a very long time though. So don't come if you're in a rush. They get a ton of to go traffic so the people sitting and dining in have to wait and wait and wait. If you need an extra spoon or napkins, you might as well forget it since the server does not come by very often being that she's so busy. They should hire extra staff since they have a good clientele basis.

- service is very friendly - but slow . There was only four tables occupied, but service was still slow - chefs however work fast. Appetizers and main entrees were ready quickly - they start with fried noodles with a sweet and sour and a honey horseradish dip - a nice was to start the meal - appetizers: Potstickers were flavorful - be aware that they contain ginger Cream cheese won ton - better with sweet and sour sauce Entrees: Cashew chicken - the best of the bunch BBQ pork with snow peas. The opposite of the cashew chicken. Personally, I would avoid. Two of our group liked it. Mongolian beef- it was fine Honey Walnut Shrimp - 4 out of five Almond cookies and fortune cookies to end. Almond cookie was good. Fortune cookie was a bit stale Nice family restaurant. Food was fine.

Placed a take out order here and decided to try the Mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp, eggplant, and the mapo tofu. Mongolian beef was very tender and flavorful. Honey walnut shrimp wasn't the best I've had, it was really runny and wet and not very crisp. I really enjoyed the eggplant and the mapo tofu was really good too. Steamed rice came with all the entrees and so did fortune cookies. Overall flavor of the food is there and not bad for a local Chinese spot!

Our new go-to place for the best Chinese food in town! Always very welcoming and nice, they have food for the koi fish in the middle of the restaurant that they offer to my kids to feed the fish. It's the highlight of their visit! Have tried almost everything on the menu and have not experienced 1 bad meal. Quick service and always being checked on, we will definitely be coming back!

Very solid Chinese American food with great staff. We got a variety of soups and noodle stir fries and they were cooked well. Not too greasy, a little salty, but otherwise tasty. Big portions and the staff was very attentive. Only downside was that their tea was very weak and was in a cheap tea bag. Otherwise, nice cozy interior and conveniently located next to Whole Foods.

Nice dining room, friendly and polite wait staff, but the food was really substandard. Gamey meat, stale won tons, and a fortune cookie that was as hard as concrete. The contents of the spring roll were pure mush and inedible. The only saving grace was the rice which was well cooked. Would not recommend when there are other far better restaurants in the same shopping center.

Highly recommended, extensive gluten free options, food is very high quality with large portions. Service is phenomenal. I have brought multiple people here and all were very pleased with the flavor and quality. Normally gluten free food requires a compromise, this is not the case here. There are also many options for people who aren't gluten free, but the gluten free menu is the most extensive I've found anywhere. Highly recommend the orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp.

This review is ONLY for take out. The food remains better than average but the wait for a scheduled pickup is exceedingly long. It took at least 30 minutes longer than scheduled. Besides, the server was excessively brusque. One good thing is that like many places now, they do accept Apple Pay.

Who doesn't love good Chinese food? So, New Mandarin Garden is the real deal for quality Chinese Cuisine. It is just next to the Whole Foods in Laguna Niguel. This was my first visit and i so enjoyed my lunch! I got the lunch special and the quality of food was excellent. I enjoyed egg drop soup, a delicious egg roll, and mushu pork and brown rice. The entree was delectable. Plenty of pork and egg mixed with the cabbage for such a satisfying entree. The owner, Ginger is very friendly and the service was very prompt. I look forward to trying the House Special Chow Mein next time and working through the menu.
