Mu Shu Pork
Garlic Chicken
Mushroom Chicken
Kung Pao Beef
BBQ sliced pork appetizer
This dessert was heaven! Lol
Kung pao chicken had white meat, al dente veggies, and the flavors were perfection
Kung Pao Beef is so flavorful and savory.
My only critique would be portion sizes. They weren't terrible, but not great either.

The restaurant is very convenient and always has seats available. I order to-go from here mostly and it seems that's what most people do.However, if you do go inside they are very friendly and provide quick service. It's very clean, well lit and have comfortable booths. They make authentic Chinese food that is very tasty.

If you ask for Sichuan, you are going to get Sichuan. I ordered Sichuan shrimp. The shrimp are perfectly cooked, the veggies are crunchy. My nose is running, and my eyeballs are sweating. Perfect. We started with soup. Both the hot and sour and the egg flower were very good. We then had a half order of egg rolls and an order of potstickers. The potstickers were great, and so were the egg rolls (hot and crunchy). My friend had the vegetable fried rice, Kung pao chicken, and the Chicken Chop Suey. All the dishes were well-prepared. The restaurant is lovely and the owner served us. We will be back for more.

This spot is tucked away in a parking lot and you'd never know it was there. Everything pictured was good, would probably pass on the wrapped chicken next time, though. Not pictured, but the Shredded Pork in Hot Garlic Sauce was also good. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for restaurant style Chinese food.

Absolutely loved my experience! The flavors at New Lake Asian House are authentic and vibrant. Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with taste. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend trying their dumplings and Kung Pao chicken! A delightful find that will keep me coming back for more!

Concise review here...THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC!! The food is lovely, fresh, and perfectly prepared. I moved away from the Southern California area several years ago and I promise you that on every future trip to the area, I will eat here once or probably twice. They use no MSG, which will be pleasing for my wife. The service is polite and efficient, and they are happy to explain any of the dishes on their menu, which is very well-rounded. The pricing is very appropriate for the quality, quantity, and selection of dishes. Although the decor is very unstated, this is fine. The table clothes are still linen, and the table decorations are simple yet attractive. My only less-than-positive comment is that the restaurant is located in an open-air mall three doors down from a Mountain Mike's pizza place. This is NOT the fault of New Lake Asian, but the kids outside were running wild, screaming at the top of their lungs. A small niche in the adjacent building wall was also perfect for a Dodgeball game. And the kids took FULL advantage of this opportunity. I don't know where the parents were, but their lack of attentiveness dampened the meal's enjoyment slightly. But again, kids or no kids, I will return!!

Picked up some to go and it wasn't the experience I had in mind. It wasn't bad hence the 3 stars but it wasn't good either. Everything was just one step below what it should be and what I know they could be. This economy and everything sucks but to make it you need to step up everything or I might find someone passionate enough to steal my business away.

Is actually pretty good. Not amazing but it hits the spot if you want something better than pick up sticks. The pork fried rice is tasty and the broccoli beef is pretty good too. The people are super friendly. Will definitely be ordering again.

This was my first time dining in this small, but reputable Chinese restaurant in RSM. I ordered a vegetarian dish with tofu:Buddha's Feast(It is not served with rice and you have to order it extra) it was prepared well but a little heavy on the black pepper. So if you don't want spicy, you need to specify when you order.I do wish the smaller Chinese venues would follow in the newest trend of offering combos like the big favorite Chinese chain does so we can have a taste of a few different dishes instead of having to order only one or two dishes when you are 1- person. Do you know what I mean? If you want to try an eggroll, you have to order a whole order of eggrolls. They could definitely have more business/volume if they would offer a combo, for example: one eggroll, half an appetizer, and an entrée with rice choice priced at or under $20. I prefer to support small business, so I hope they will get more creative with the dinner options for one, or for two people to give the opportunity to try more flavors.
