Nekter was pretty high up there on my list of açaí spots, but this location has some major improving to do. I'm so sorry to even say that. :( Starting with the positives, the guy taking my order was nice. He was patient and kind. That is a plus. Everything else goes downhill from there. Our açaí bowls were on the watery side. It wasn't on the cold, thick, icy side. That is so weird; I have never seen this before. The toppings of banana slices, strawberries, and blueberries were also very, very scarce. I didn't know I was supposed to tell the guy that I wanted almond butter "on top," so it was blended (eewww) into my açaí base! It gave it a slimy texture which was so gross. If you're paying over $10 for an açaí bowl, I feel like it should be good. I gave this place a 2 because I'm not coming back. To end on a positive note, my husband liked his mango smoothie. If you want a recommendation for an amazing açaí place, go to Berry Brand in Tustin. I've tried the Nekter location near UCI, and that one tasted good. That was maybe a year ago, though.

Located inside the smaller South Coast Plaza. We had a coupon for BOGO half off on a rainy Saturday morning. We ordered our usual, which is the Mango Delight but omit the pineapple juice for strawberries. Upon getting our order, we realized that our drink still had pineapple juice and the strawberries were nowhere in sight. We were already halfway to our car when we turned back around to get our orders fixed. The same girl who took our order saw the mistake immediately and went back to fix our new drinks and let us keep the ones they made by mistake as well. We were very happy with the staff taking accountability for their mistake. It was a very pleasant experience with this Nekter and we are definitely coming back if we're shopping at SCP again.

I recently visited this location while I visited the mall. The decor is nice and modern. You can smell fresh fruit inside, which is nice too. I ordered the berry smoothie, which was extremely flavorful and fruity. Their menu has a wide selection of fresh smoothies. The service is quick, too.

$3.99 for a ginger shot wow. i went here on my last day in california. i went rock climbing first and then my friend said to go to lululemon so we went at south coast and they wanted their green juice and my stomach hurt so bad so i thought i was nervous. i thought that it was because i was moving but it was actually because of my interview bruh. i literally almost fell on the escalator because of how nervous i was. i got a ginger shot and it actually worked. my stomachache went away. but it came back like two hours later but i thought it was worth it. awesome!
