The BEST roast beef sandwich I've ever had! It came with roasted red peppers, grilled onions, lettuce and tomato. Bun fresh! Kind friendly service and reasonable price. 14.99 fir a big sandwich and a side. The place is clean. Artistic paintings on the walls. They have other snack and drink options for on the go, and for a special meal, wine and other alcohol. I want to come back for a coffee and a pastry.

This is a very clean friendly hip & delicious small business that i absolutely recommend!! The owner knows how to pick the BEST staff for impeccable service & eats! We ordered the Italian Sandwich, Buttermilk pancakes & the Turkey Cranberry sandwich! Also got a hazelnut latte & black coffee! Took home a pecan bar & cinnamon scone!! Couldn't just pick one!!! Haha we will definitely be back to try all the amazing options and look forward to supporting this business!! Thanks for providing this experience in HB!!

This was one of the best breakfasts my friends and I have had in a while! The food was all cooked to perfection and tasted great. Their Fruity Pebbles French toast was tasty and was one of my favorite dishes. The staff was also very friendly and the inside was clean and well decorated.

Saw some reviews and was looking forward to trying out Mustard Cafe, I was not disappointed. I loved the breakfast burrito, it lived up to the hype. Delicious! And available ANY time. I like breakfast at lunch and dinner so this is a new favorite for me. My wife had French dip, loved it. Great service, dog friendly, really nice casual place! Highly recommended.

What a great new spot! It's an order at the front type restaurant, which we always prefer so you don't have to wait around. Service was super nice and quick. We got there just after 10 on a Saturday and there was plenty of available seating, and only a couple people in front of us in line. Food was awesome, all of us enjoyed our meals. The breakfast potatoes were yummy with season salt. The menu is big with lots of lunch options. Ambiance was nice, simple, good music. The patio was nice and had good shade.

Pricing is outrageous! Two breakfast burritos, two undercooked cookies, two lemonades; $58.79. The soda fountain was not an option as it was out of order. This was disappointing as the only other options were bottled drinks which meant no refills. I asked if the had any refillable options and the server said, "No, and there are no refills on the drinks from the soda fountain."The breakfast burrito was bland and lacked any flavor. I had sausage and bacon, both were subpar. The burritos were small. The presentation was nice, plain but nice, and the tortilla wrapping was top notch. Mostly potato with a nice padding of fluffy eggs. I was offered Serrano peppers and given jalapeños. The restaurant was adorned with outdated street art. Nothing special stood out. Our cookies arrived undercooked, raw in the center. The edge of our cookies were cooked properly and tasted good. Overall, the place came up short. The moderately high pricing filled me with the expectation of quality. I was wrong. I was also asked for a tip before receiving any service or food. Not sure how to handle this situation. Seems odd to ask for a tip before delivering anything worthy of a tip. I gave 18% and didn't receive anything worthy of basic service or food quality.

I would rate this a 10 star if I could. I was looking for a dog friendly cafe after visiting Dog Beach and I found a great cafe for humans and dogs!They had home cooked dog food and my dogs had their own food and water bowls!The floor was cement so when my dog slurped and dropped water on the floor the Mustard Cafe team said NP and mopped it up easily. I had a Cobb salad and it was delicious.

I stopped at Mustard Cafe for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The coffee was a nice roast, and I chose the keto breakfast sandwich with sausage and egg. I enjoyed both. The place itself has a nice feel to it with lots of brick and a pleasant outdoor patio less than a block from PCH. Staff are friendly and customer-centered. I will check it out again on my next visit to Surf City.

I saw we had a new place in the neighborhood, and I wanted to give it a try. I brought along my long-time, weekly lunch amigo and we set off for this sparkling new cafe.They are so new the big menu screens were not functioning yet. The regular menus worked just fine. The service was friendly and quick. I ordered the spinach-mushroom omelette, with hash browns and whole grain toast.My companion ordered the Ruben with great anticipation. Our order was delivered quickly, my omelette was perfect, with a nice layer of cheddar on top. My friend dug into his sandwich and did not say a word until he had consumed the whole meal. I think he liked it! There is plenty of parking, and it is a very pleasant place for lunch or breakfast. The patio looked very inviting especially if you have a dog! We strolled around Main Street afterwards and ended up with an ice cream cone and a great conversation.

What a hidden gem in Huntington Beach! Prices are so reasonable, my husband is Keto, and the options are incredible, I had ABC omelet with a mimosas! Amazing menu, great food, wonderful service. We went twice in two days!
