I've actually dined here a few times and realized I haven't reviewed this place as I always had a decent time here. Came here the day after V-day for lunch, me and husband really enjoyed our meal! Ordered the soup of the day, which was mushroom soup. I am a sucker for mushroom soup and it did not disappoint, it was delicious. Fried calamari was great as well. The stars of the show were their pasta, I mean obviously. We ordered the Fettuccine and Chicken Pomodoro. Really big servings for lunch btw, I definitely did not finish my dish but had it for to go. Perfectly cooked noodles and the flavor of the sauces were so tasty. To be honest, I am more of a chicken parm girl but the chicken pomodoro was DELISH. My husband really enjoyed his food as well. We were very happy about our lunch.Service is WONDERFUL too. Servers work really hard. They're attentive and kind. Food came out in the perfect manner as well, they really waited until we were ready for our entrees, which I appreciated because I was happy to have the time to finish our app, soup and salad before the entrees. Will definitely be back soon!! Highly recommend this place for people who love Italian food. It's a great authentic spot to try.

I have to give major props. Our usually spot Roman Cucina was busy to the max, and we were on a time crunch. We stumbled upon this hidden gem. It was very comfortable and homey in aesthetic. The food was great. Calamari and mussels were generous in portion and packed a bunch of flavor. The white pasta was savory and made me keep eating.Good spot!

Because of the high ratings here, I had high expectations, but unfortunately they weren't met. The food was not impressive at all, very generic taste...then considering the prices, it was was a disappointing experience. Table BREAD AND BUTTER: fantastic!! I was highly impressed; the bread was perfectly baked and complimented with delicious butter!MEATBALLS: they tasted very generic; just ground beef, not enough seasoning or flavor to reorder, especially when priced at $18.FRENCH ONION SOUP: I enjoyed it more than I expected to but wouldn't order it again. Chicken Parmigiana: It was fine. The Alfredo pasta was the highlight of the entire. I enjoyed the rich flavor of the sauce. However, the chicken had a dry texture. Tbh, the one at Olive Garden is better.Sad to report that I was disappointed. Although this could've just been my experience because l the place was POPPING for a Wednesday @ 6pm! Seeing many people coming and going I felt gaslit, maybe the food wasn't as mediocre as I thought it was- even though my partner agreed with my opinion??? Nonetheless, the ambiance was cute and our server was great!

We came here for an anniversary as I've been here before. My previous experience was amazing as it was a 5 PM dinner on a Thursday. Today we made a 6:45 PM reservation through OpenTable. We were sat immediately but boy is it packed! Not surprised, their food is amazing. We ordered drinks (Pinot Grigio and water). Then wait 20 minutes for them. Once our waiter came around, there was no introduction or greeting. Simply "what're we eating?" In a bland tone. I see other servers more friendly so this bummed me out. We ordered the meatball appetizer and these were absolutely delicious. So flavorful! Then my boyfriend ordered the chicken pomodoro and I ordered the chicken piccata. This is where the real problems began. He was so busy rushing through my order when I asked to sub the mashed potatoes for pasta, he said "ohhh I sent it to the kitchen- let me run and tell them" as I watched him walk to the kitchen. Also at this time, I ordered my salad with no tomato (I have an allergy to the acid in fresh tomatoes). When the salad came out, it had a tomato on it. My partner flagged him down to let him know and he said "oh, well he can eat it. Give it to him" then walked away. My partner ate all the parts that were touching my salad but I ate a few bites before letting him finish. After this, our food came out and it was all delicious. We chose to skip dessert here solely based on the service we were given. I am starting to get tired of these great restaurants with amazing food having people with little to no personable skills. The busser was kinder, more polite and really took care of our table. He is the reason I didn't leave after the salad incident. Based off the food, it would have been 5 stars. But, with the service, it brings it down to a 3.

Mulberry St is a nice italian place in downtown fullerton. they provide all the classics. service was very good. they were attentive and fast. the ambiance was nice and candle lit. food was solid, nothing to write home about but definitely left us satisfied. the started off with a house salad, which was really just lettuce. the meatballs were good, definitely recommend. we had the capellini a le checca which had a nice tomato garlic flavor. we finished with the tiramisu. all around a good dining experience!

Chose Mulberry for a special night out with my husband. Overall we had a good experience and the food was okay. I will preface that we live in NYC, where there are plenty of Italian spots and in comparison this felt less traditional. Service was great, very attentive. We were seated right away in a comfortable booth table in the back. The decor inside had a vintage feel. We started with a French onion soup which came out hot with a good amount of melted cheese. For our mains, we got the mulberry steak and the linguine clams. It was a pretty good amount of food and we pretty full but ordered the coconut cake to go. Our server brought out all the desserts on a tray which was a fun throwback and we couldn't resist.
