Delicious, fresh and lots of flavors to choose from! Friendly, quick service on a Sunday night. Loved the chocolate flavor best - chewy and not too sweet, just right for a yummy dessert after dinner.

These places are always understaffed and the food is cooked fresh so it takes time but it's worth it! My teens got some boba and hot dogs and were very happy! Located in the beautiful south coast plaza, the mall was crowded and the food area was as well but the staff was friendly.

Most inefficient store I've been to. Waited 20 mins just for a one item order. 10 mins waiting in line (I was the 2nd in line) cuz she was trying to mop the floor and serve everything and take orders. Not sure why there's only one person in there? Also she had to run to another store nearby to ask whether they allow exchanging coins. I had a dollar bill but needed quarters for something. Saw they had a shit ton of quarters in the cashier but didn't let me do it. I cannot understand any of their ops and logistics.

I've never witnessed a food section inside of any department stores, especially at Bloomingdale's. It was pretty busy because the layout of the food area is super compact but well worth it. Keep in mind there are liens at each of them, depending on when you go. We tried three flavors for the donuts and they were pretty good.Cocoa 5/10 don't eat the pretzel it's stale lolMango 10/10 our favWatermelon 7/10 was pretty hesitant but it tastes like strawberry to me!

We ordered the set with Matcha, Churro, and Strawberry flavors. The churro and strawberry were pretty good and glazed well. The matcha wasn't glazed as well and tasted more powdery compared to the others. It also tasted more like a plain mochi donut. Overall, I did enjoy all of them.

This is a nice and convenient Mochinut location in the basement food court below Bloomingdales at South Coast Plaza. Service is really quick, never a line of more than 1-3 ppl. Flavor offerings change frequently so always something new to try. And freshly made! Most recently had the red velvet, choco cake, and blueberry açaí, all were different and delicious.

Cheese overload and loving it. Can't beat the original mozzarella but this time tried their takis mozzarella which was fab. I always get the straight mozzarella but they do have one with sausage and also option for half and half (half sausage and half mozzarella). My personal opinion love the straight mozzarella with the sweet and spicy dip. They do have other sauces ie honey mustard , ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce. They also have the mochinut (donuts) which are also very good but was at a different mochinut location months back. Great snack while on the go. Please try.

Ok...it was hard not to stop by here after eating lunch at K Soul Food. My kiddo and I debated between Churriño and here, but decided on mochi donuts. This is located on level 1 on Bloomingdale's side. The best way to get here is to park in the Bloomingdale's lot across from the 405fwy and use the entrance on that side. Once inside, go down the escalator and turn right (Bloomingdale's entrance is right in front). Besides Mochinut, there's also Le Shrimp Noodle Bar, PhoHolic, Cha Redefine, Mah Jong's by Chef Mike, and of course, K Soul Food and Churriño as mentioned above (Paradise Dynasty, AnQi Bistro, Bruxie, and Blossoms and Brass are upstairs).Mochinut also serves Korean style hot dogs and boba drinks, but we just opted to get the mochi donuts - mulberry and ube. The staff told us that it'd be $8 for two, but that we can get three for $9 so we added a strawberry white chocolate. Lo and behold, she gave us 10% off because we ate at K Soul Food. Not sure how that works (are they related somehow?), but hey, even a little discount helps. The donuts were light and fluffy and yummy. Not sure if there's a huge difference in ingredients between here and other mochi donut joints, but perhaps being near Bloomingdale's, it felt like these donuts were a bit more refined, lol. They weren't greasy at all so they felt even lighter than those at other places. The mulberry and strawberry had nice flavors, but the ube wasn't as pronounced. The base (plain) doesn't have a lot of flavor so those with icing seem to have more flavors than those just sprinkled with sugar.Still, hard to swallow $9 for just three donuts that I can probably eat by myself ($8.10 in this case since I got a slight discount). I wouldn't come here just for the donuts...buuut most likely would be back to try other flavors and/or their drinks when I'm here again for lunch.

We wanted to try something different from the Hot Cheetos mozzarella stick so we ordered the Takis option. The portion here is small compared to other places we have been (look at how much space is left in the box). Also, we could barely taste the Takis. Definitely not ordering this again.
