Miss Munar

If you're near a Miss Munar pop-up, definitely ROLL on over and check them out!Fresh lumpia is SO hard to find in West LA, so I'm so glad I got to check them out at the Sip Shop Eat pop-up. They specialize in vegan lumpia (fried egg rolls), but also offer other traditional Filipino dishes such as sisig. Their lumpia is literally freshly fried to order, and I was impressed with how thin, flaky and perfectly fried the wrapper was while being completely stuffed with high quality tofu and jackfruit fillings. Honestly, these might be some of the best vegan lumpia/eggrolls I've ever had especially for the price point, and I've also heard their frozen products cook and taste the same at home. I did wish that they provided a bit more sauce, but maybe that's something you can go back and ask for. Definitely check them out and support a small, Asian woman owned business!

I have eaten lumpia before but the ones offered by Miss Munar really knocked them out of the park. The fillings were rich, flavorful, and well-balanced. I happily noticed that they did NOT skimp on the stuffing. My personal favorite was the Tofu Menudo for its soft, delicately tangy marinade. Highly recommend pairing the side sauces with each filling to maximize the flavor bomb experience! And the Banana Turon is a sweet finish to round off the savory bites. Service was thoughtful and thorough. They really took the time to explain the flavors for my uninitiated friend. A 10/10 gem of a find!

Holy cow these were delicious. It was worth all the hype waiting in line at the Mar Vista Farmers Market. The Banana Turón with ice cream melted in my mouth, The Tofu Menudo & Veggie Kare Kare Lumpia were so savory and perfectly crispy. These are amazing, and I'm excited to support a small business this good. Can't wait for the day I can buy these at my local grocery store... and the best part is knowing that it's all VEGAN. I'm still sad that I didn't get to try the Jackfruit Adobo lumpia since it was sold out, but that just means I'll have to try it on the next visit. Excited to eat this again!

Just had these lumpias at a farmer's market in Tustin, and they're amazing! I've been back every Sunday since. They're one of the few hot food vendors at the market. They make every order hot and fresh and their flavors are so unique. My favorite was the veggie kare kare (10/10), but all their flavors were great. Their jackfruit adobo (9/10) was a great twist on a traditional dish, too. Service was quick and I'll definitely be back

Lumpia flavors and texture were outstanding. I was looking around for comfort food and saw Miss Munar booth at the OC mix farmers market. Their lumpia is made of plant based Filipino comfort food rolled by hand fresh every day. Flavors include jackfruit adobo, tofu menudo, and veggie kare kare. The wrap has the perfect texture giving light crunch but strong enough to hold the filling. Two sisters own the company and they were both kind and professional. The best thing about this place is that they were so proud of their food which transpires into the flavor. I am so glad I was able to try their lumpia today. Delicious quick bite, warm sunny weather with a breeze. Perfect way to start the weekend.

I got mix of thee ! Veggie Kare and tofu flavor. I cannot believe it's not meat flavor but taste so good. I was awesome

Food was decent but they ran out of sauce and silverware and didnt say anything to me when i ordered so my ice cream melted and there was nothing to dip my lumpia in. Honestly just better communication would have been appreciated since I ordered a decent amount of food and wanted to enjoy it at the event instead of having to take it home first. I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt as a small business but the my overall experience was underwhelming.
