I've been eager to dine here ever since I heard they reopened after the fire. I hadn't been before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was AMAZING! The ambiance was immersive and breathtaking, the staff were attentive and welcoming, and the food was DELICIOUS.Bandar Buns: Takes 15 mins to make, but they come out hot and fresh and served with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. A nice, warm way to start the meal.Goat Karahi:Authentic, perfectly spicy, and amazing with naan. Easily our favorite of the night!Chicken Biryani:Aromatic with huge chunks of tender chicken, but quite spicy. My husband is Pakistani with a great spice tolerance, but even he said it was pretty hot. Delicious nonetheless and comes with raita to calm the heat!Honey Dew Me/Strawberry Mojito mocktails:Refreshing and flavorful! We dined on Valentine's Day, so we also got a rose on our table and even got to take it home! Can't wait to dine here again

The worst Indian restaurant you can ever go to in Orange County not only are they rude. I found a hair in my dish.I called management and spoke to them. They didn't care very nasty attitude. Very rude. Just extremely disappointing. I would never step foot in this place ever again.

I've heard so much about Mint since they first opened but never had a chance to visit--until recently, after they reopened following the fire. The ambiance inside is very nice and welcoming.I tried their signature chicken biryani, which was okay but not as impressive as Charminar's. We also ordered the chicken karahi, which was just average. The service was good, though a bit slow for our small group compared to how quickly they served larger tables. Additionally, I felt that the portion sizes were a bit small for the price.Overall, a decent experience, but there's room for improvement in both food quality and value for money.

I have so far only tried their small bite appetizers, so having not tried any mains you can trust my review maybe 75 percent ok? As of what I've had, the kitchen delivered tasty things all around. The food was flavorful and not too inventive. The owner is friendly and quick to serve. Inside, their decor is dark, candlelit and tidy. Some Indian restaurants I find to be really overrun by music playing far too loudly. Here, yes there's music and the expected music video playing, but it's not as overwhelming. This may be a repeat place, glad to say.

I found this place when I went to get froyo froyo from the place next door last night and I smelt the food and knew I wanted to come here. The we got our food to go and it was packed very securely. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The interior of the restaurant is very cool looking and modern with nice moody lighting. I think next time we'll eat inside instead of to go :)

I'm so thrilled to share that my favorite Pakistani/Indian restaurant has reopened after being closed for some time, and it's even better than before! The renovations have completely transformed the place--it's upscale, with a softly dimmed ambiance and mellow lighting that creates a cozy, inviting vibe. The projector showing old Indian songs adds a nostalgic touch and is absolutely aesthetically pleasing. The bathrooms are beautifully done and spotless, a nice extra touch. Customer service here is top-notch, with the staff greeting you warmly and always wearing a smile, making you feel right at home. Though the space isn't huge, it was packed on a Sunday night, a true testament to its popularity. As for the food, we ordered a variety of dishes. The chicken karhai was decent but didn't stand out much. However, the mutton karhai was exceptional--succulent and tender, practically melting in your mouth. The butter chicken was okay, not bad but also nothing spectacular. If you love lamb, the lamb seekh kababs are a must-try--deliciously flavorful! The samosa chaat was a delightful surprise and hit the right spot, with a perfect balance of chutney and yogurt that was simply irresistible. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely be back. What's even better is that the prices are more affordable than places like Khan Sahab, but the quality doesn't fall short. Highly recommend checking it out!

Came here the other night with family for a birthday celebration. Happy we had a reservation because the place was full. The food was some of the best South Asian food I've had in a long time. My favorite was tandoori chicken and chicken karahi. Garlic naan is a must! The waiters were all attentive and quick. Loved the ambiance of old Bollywood songs playing on the brick wall. I can't wait to come back here again. It was worth the drive from SGV.

Yay, they reopened a month ago! They are a Wonderful family owned business in Laguna Hills. Mint is back open and the food once again is top-notch! Chicken Karahi is what they are known for and honestly it's the best I've had in our area! Great, friendly service as well. Inviting fresh appeasing decor too.

+5/5One of the best chicken Karhais in Southern California - Nikki's is a runner up.Butter chicken was perfectly spiced and creamy .Daal tadka had a good texture and flavor but the serving size was TINY. Not worth the cost -- this should be improved. Overall one of my favorite Pakistani/Indian restaurants in OC Wish they served beef here. Unfortunate that it is not included and their seekh kababs are made from lamb.

Reopened after a long closure, Mint is back with gusto. Serving up North Indian favorites, this reopening of Mint reinvigorates the South Asian food scene in South OC. The interior has been reimagined into a chiq 1970s retro vibe, with old Hindi movies projected on a brick wall and background Hindi songs from the same era. The decor and vibe brings the diner to a differnt place and time. The service is fantastic. The host is prompt at getting you seated and the waiters are patient and knowledgable of the menu items. We got the Palak Paneer and Chiicken Tikka Masala. Both were delicious. They gave off an authentic North Indian taste. The last time I tasted Indian Food this great was in Old Delhi. Check out the Malai Naan. Indian cheese baked into bread is amazing! If you like Indian Food, you have to give this a go!
