Mendocino Farms

I really like the food at Mendocino Farms, but they should consider using butter, and olive and avocado oil only. They do use less than other restaurants but I always believed this was mostly seed oil free.The manager and cashier were very open about the ingredients list. I appreciate that.

It's very good for what it is. Prices have not seen the hyperinflation of other spots. The food seems fresh and on the healthy side. Service is slow, like most places since pandemic and not very excusable, but I usually place my order online and then go pick it up or run an errand in the shopping center. I have had and enjoyed many of their sandwiches. Lots of shaved chicken. The only bread I like is the ciabatta. The Greek lemon chicken farro soup is very yummy (even if my tongue tingles from the salt). I wish they used lacinto kale instead of curly kale for salads. The front of the house staff are a bit too bubbly and forward for me, but at least they are trying to be friendly.

This place offers a great value. The menu has healthy and tasty options, the ambiance is "fresh and welcoming," and the prices are lower than comparable restaurants. My friends and I go to Mendocino Farms on Aliso Viejo, in Laguna Niguel, for birthday lunches or just to eat some flavorful food and hang out. Laurisa is super friendly and helpful--she always has a smile on her face and is happy to help with whatever we need.

The absolute worst place ever!!!!Do not ever place a phone order here it will be 15 to 30 minutes over the estimated time. It's so disorganized and slow. The San Juan Capistrano location is the same or worse!!! The Irvine location is the only half decent location. Ughhh

Stopped in today while out on customer visits. Had not been here...so glad I stopped in...service was spot on...food was really great. I ordered the pork belly Bahn mi and wow! It was delicious...had a bag of chips (habanero) and they were seriously spicy which was perfect for me! Love heat and usually things like chips aren't spicy when they are supposed to be. Inside is simple but comfortable. Good drink selections. Really have to shout out for the crew taking orders! They are friendly and on top of it. I'll definitely be trying them again.

Another 5-star catering order! We love the Laguna Niguel location and their attention to detail, especially with larger catering orders. They are always on time and set everything up so nicely! We trust them with our C-Suite and Board meetings, as well as day-to-day smaller lunch orders. Great food and service! Thank you to Genelle, the Catering Specialist, for great service and for always following up to ensure we had a great experience and Heather, the OC ASM, for a great onsite lunch!

We were here twice last month.First time it didn't wow us, so thought we would give it a try again a week later. No difference.I had Mama Chen's salad the last time and it was also okay. Salad ingredients were very fresh. However, shaved chicken was rather bland.Hubby tried the "not-so-fried" chicken sandwich. It was just okay.

The food is good here - solid, fresh ingredients and much better in person than take out because many menu items are warm. I wanted to highlight one worker in particular-Julian. He is often working hard, with a smile on his face-willing to serve and help out wherever needed. I am thankful for people like Julian who make the world a better place.

Trying to order and the website is down and no online order options for pick up. Good lord people. Omg. Hahaha!! Fix this nonsense

As a local, I was thrilled to see this restaurant being built. I've given it several chances, but nearly every time, I've been disappointed. First, I understand that it can get busy, but here's some advice for the manager: hire more staff! The wait time is always 20 minutes or more, which is long enough to go to a nice sit-down restaurant.Additionally, I've experienced mistakes with my orders. The first time, they completely forgot to include chicken in the salad. When I called, the lady on the phone was kind enough to offer a coupon for a free meal, so I thought it was just a simple mistake. However, when I returned, they ensured the chicken was included, but this time they forgot the beets in a beet salad. What's going on in the kitchen? Do they read the orders ? This will be the last time I visit this location. The only reason they get a 1 star is there's no zero!
