Mendocino Farms

I'm writing this to recognize amazing service from Raj and his team. Raj went out of his way to get my catering order filled at short notice, willingness to be flexible with arrangements and absolutely on-time professional delivery even through my order had some customization. This place does amazing catering in general. The choices are well put together. And of course the sandwiches are well received by my clients. This store is not the nearest to me but I will travel far for great customer service and Raj and team definitely do that.

My wife went here and ordered food for my daughter and herself. When she got home she realized they forgot my daughter's food...which is not a big deal, so we went back to get it. When I arrived the owner (or manager I assume as he was dressed different than the rest of the crew) was super annoyed with me. I politely said they forgot and showed him the receipt, he wouldn't look at me...angrily walked over to get it..slams it down on the table and says not a word. Like seriously wtf. Dude needs to be second guessed in his position. The rest of the staff is always suuuuper nice.

Really good sandwiches and salads! The not fried chicken sandwich and the quinoa avocado salad are amazing!Its a tad pricey but the quality makes up for it. You can really taste the fresh quality ingredients. Only downside is the wait time can be a little too long for a salad and sandwich.

For starters, Props to Lucas aka Mr: Turkey Avocado Sala Verde for providing excellent hospitality, service and solid recommendations.Always been a fan of Mendo. Fast casual, simple but you can taste that rhe ingredients are fresher and higher quality than other quick service restaurants. The salads soups and sandwiches are always pretty good.Looking forward to venturing out and ordering items that I'm not as familiar with. I live smack in the middle of 3 locations so always have one close by luckily.Salud.

Visited here with a friend and had a great first experience. Ordered the Peruvian steak sandwich with avocado and had one of the lemonades. The sandwich was very good, although a but hard to east with how messy the sandwich was put together. Overall, the staff were very friendly, there was no long line, and it was a tasty lunch. Deducted a star for pricing. 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks came out to around $45. Personally, pretty expensive for a small sandwich.

Delicious food, lots of options. The service is quick, great for to go or sit in. I tried the Peruvian steak sandwich and it was so good!

This is one of my go to places for fresh salads. When the heat around 90 degrees, getting a salad was the perfect meal to help cool you down and still enjoy a delicious meal. The mango salad was crisp and had fun additions like almonds and noodles. It also had a hint of Thai basil which I'm not the biggest fan, but it worked well in here.The chicken parm dip had a really nice bread, I loved it. The dipping sauce is necessary to complete the dish, and it's a simple yet gets the job done. This is a new spot at Fashion Island and I like that they have both inside and outside seating. The workers bring the food to you when you dine in which is a nice added service they provide.

Ah yes, another Mendocino farms review. This is the second location we've been to and we always order the same thing: Avo Turky Salsa Verde. One of these days, I promise I will get a grilled cheese with tomato soup. Perks of this location is that is local and accessible. They are REALLY FAST at fulfilling orders. Will definitely come back again. Parking can be scarce though due to the other businesess around.

Mendocino Farms is a place you can eat at every night and have a healthy diet without paying too much. We've ordered pretty much every salad and sandwich on their menu, but our favorites are the turkey avocado salsa verde sandwich and their avocado & quinoa superfood salad. The turkey avocado sandwich comes with a panini-pressed sourdough bread with turkey, cotija & gouda cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and a side of jalapeño salsa verde. The salsa adds great flavor to the sandwich if you dip with each bite. The avocado and quinoa salad comes with kale & romaine lettuce, quinoa, corn, black beans, jicama, red onions, cilantro, cotija cheese, tomatoes and avocado with a chipotle vinaigrette dressing. The salad and sandwiches at Mendocino are all fresh. We mostly call in and order take out and they usually prepare the food really quickly and have them ready when you get there on their to-go stand. We really appreciate have the convenience of this restaurant with the quality and the fair prices.

They don't toast their bread on the steak sandwich. Salad was ok.I prefer the Brea location. Toasted bread on the sandwich makes a huge difference.
