Mayfield

With 14 foodie friends we ascended on the Mayfield Supper Club for my bday celebration. It was a private setting so we felt like we were at home. We didn't really know what to expect other than we were handed menus and told to pick a bunch of options. With Drink orders quickly placed the "Rip & Dips" landed and they did not disappoint. The group consensus was the spinach whipped feta with garlic confit was the clear winner but all the dips were amazing. After conferring amongst the group we decided on the rest of the options and the dishes started raining on our table but let's talk about the cocktails. Notable cocktails were the Club Tropicana and a Beet cocktail that I can't remember the name now. My favorite dishes were the Zatar Fried Chicken, the Octopus, and the Croquettes. Such an amazing meal. We will be back!!!

Mayfield is really pretty inside and way bigger than it looks! There is a downstairs, upstairs and giant outside area with a bar.The staff is very welcoming. There is a cute shop area with local home goods and drinks.They have plenty of delicious plant based food, as well as meat so you can bring the whole family / friend group. Our group tried a variety of items from salad to avocado toast to grain bowls. I also ordered a matcha which was actually delicious. You can even come in and order coffee or matcha at the coffee bar.I highly recommend

Came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and it was a success!This restaurant is a twist on North African/ Mediterranean inspired dishes. Lots of unique flavors and great pairings.We started off with cocktails and really enjoyed the Turkish delight drink. Prices for bottle of wines were super reasonable, and you can also buy by the glass. Our server was super helpful, attentive and helped break down the menu. The 5 dips with focaccia was divine. Highly recommend trying all 5 vs buying each individually. I also had the pleasure of trying the pork belly dish and it was divine! It was paired with baked beans, and pork grinds with a nice spicy after taste.Birthday desserts are not provided but we still tried the stick toffee cake. It's made out of dates and served with vanilla ice cream.Ambience is perfect for a date or even just a quick hangout for drinks. There is a small bar area for seating and 2 floors of indoor seating in addition to the outside patio.

Went here for the first time for Sunday brunch, lovely place, the food & service was great!! Love the ambience, perfect locations as well downtown San Juan Capistrano. We highly recommended this establishment, I know you will enjoy it as much as we did!

So happy to have chosen to eat here! The inside is clean and bright with seating floor level and a small section upstairs to eat at. Wyatt, our waiter, was quick and helpful. The dip was so good! It was creamy and flavorful and had pieces of garlic and it was so so smooth. The wrap had tons of flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly. The prosciutto and egg toast was so tasty too!

And here cucumber was refreshing. Moroccan carrots: 5/5 Hazelnut was roasted so good!Lamb Kofte Meatballs: 4.5/5Grilled cabbage: 1/5 Pork belly: 5/5 the crispy pork rinds on top was a nice touch.

How I've waited to go here and so glad we came during our Christmas holiday party. We were 11 total so reservations made in advance for sure. For dinner they have what you call "supper club style" and for $60 a person you select various plates from small, medium to large. There was SO much food and every dish was just a wow factor with flavor and you could tell so much love was put into the food. It's such a cute spot, we were seated to the left when you walk in, long table, like modern wedding style as you get to enjoy the company of who you are with and share such delicacies. We even had enough to take home and that was surprising for me with 11 girls, we came hungry and left stuffed!

My first time coming here. It was a nice little spot in old mission of San Juan. The place was filled with people. We were first seated by the little bar table facing out to the street, but later moved as the sun got into our eyes.We still enjoyed our stay there for lunch. Our server was first Wyatt (I believe that was his name) helped with putting in our orders. I had the Irish Whiskey to drink and my friend had The Fancy Man. Later I took a Curious George to go (another coffee beverage). Later we were helped by another young lady who worked there (forgot her name sorry), but she helped us move to a table where we were in the shade. She was very sweet. All the workers were polite and just had a great attitude and made my first time here an enjoyable experience.For food, my friend had ordered the Beef & Lamb Kofte Kebab Wrap. I tried some of her meat, and it was pretty tasty with fresh herbs of mint and it tasted like there was a hint of lime in there. It was seasoned well. A little pink on the inside of the meat. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be cooked in a Mediterranean dish, but majority of the meat was cooked medium well. Her dish came with a side of the herb za'atar fries along with ketchup and their house ranch. All in all, it was still a 10/10 for the both of us.I had ordered the ZFC (Za'atar Fried Chicken Sandwich). The sandwich is a brioche bun, and in it was their house ranch, pickles, aleppo oil, middle eastern slaw and saw some herb of mint, served with a side of their herb za'atar fries. It was VERY delicious! Crispy and juicy was how the chicken was cooked, coated in their Mediterranean batter of za'atar spices. Together with how they dressed it up came together SO well. Each bite better than the last.I'm definitely coming to try the rest of their items on the menu. The affogato is one dessert I'll definitely be trying on the next visit. It sounded yummy!

GREAT place to hangout with good friends. We went here for a drink and a dessert before some event. Great vibes, great decor and absolutely great bartenders that know how to make great drinks. We sat at the bars and order one set of drink, then become 2 then 3...before I know it, I was on #5. But we came back afterward for more. Great staffs and I'm sure the foods are great too (actually I did had foods here before but most are tapas type). Definitely it was a great night since the next day I found 2 new phone #s added to my phone with texts that I don't recall doing it. I always stop by here for a drink when I'm down in this neighborhood.

The food and atmosphere were great..but nothing compared to the absolutely lovely staff! We had a sparkling evening with Autumn and Mikayla - they were so fun and warm and bubbly. We are waiting out the LA fires down in SJC and we will most surely be back if not just to visit our new friends!
