Matcha

We were craving milk tea so stopped by this place. It's with poke tiki. I love matcha so i got the matcha latte but they were debuting the rose milk tea which my mom got. She really enjoyed it and could taste the rose flavor. I liked my matcha it wasnt too sweet. I wish there were more topping options because my mom likes pudding and i like salt cream foam or creme brulee or some sort of creamy topper. Everyone was nice and the place was clean with a good amount of seating! Seems like a good simple place.

Venturing down South County to find a boba shop to be regulars at. Unfortunately, it was nice to try but didn't hit. The shop shares the same space as Poke Tiki and the preparation space is pretty small. Upon entrance, you see Matcha first and can order at the counter.We ordered a Boba Milk Tea and a Mango Matcha Latte with mango jelly. Husband is very picky when it comes to the flavor profile of his milk tea. It has to be balanced with a black tea base and not overpowered by milk/creamer or have a chocolate/bitter coffee aftertaste. His milk tea tasted like chocolate milk with a very odd, lingering taste of something herbal. The boba texture was really soft and chewy, but the tea was meh.I figured with a shop named Matcha, their matcha should be good, right? Although the green tea flavor wasn't super strong, it was more latte-y (milky) than matcha forward. However, the mango was a nice feature and loved the mango jelly and puree.Would I return? Probably not.

My husband and I wanted to stay local, so we searched "milk tea boba" on Yelp and this spot popped up. It's located in the same plaza as Baja Fresh, Board & Brew, and other neighboring businesses that my husband and I frequent. Decided to give it a try today. When we walked in, we were surprised to see they shared the same space as Poke Tiki. A nice gentleman came out from the swinging door and took our order as soon as we walked in (yesss!). They had a decent selection of beverages on their menu. Order up: 1. Milk tea (husband's)2. Taro Milk Tea (mine)I've had taro milk tea at other places before and it was usually hit or miss (sometimes feels "powdery"). However, theirs did not disappoint. However, my husband and I both agreed that their Milk Tea could have tasted much better if they had steeped whatever tea they used a bit longer.All in all, both the drinks were relatively good. I'll have to add boba next time we come back! :))Cheers till then...

Great place! The inside as clean and well decorated. Drinks were good, very reasonably priced for a pretty large drink. Owner was very friendly as well

Teas are great, I've only had one issue a week ago, the matcha was overly sweet and I couldn't drink it I think it might've been the end of batch boba with all the brown sugar that might've thrown it off Regardless the service is great and the ambiance is nice with outside and inside seating.

had a lot of people inside so i had high hopes :( i got a strawberry matcha it's super grainy and seems watery? i don't know it's not good and just paid $7! i'm sure everything else is good

If you're craving boba and dessert, this place is a must-try! The ice cream is amazing and the boba is on-point. Extensive menu and they do it well. We happened to go to San Clemente beach for the day and stopped by this place for a refresher. So yummy.

ginner or Jennifer just screamed and hung up on me when I called about my matcha frappe being sour (spoiled milk) Yikes. I've spent so much money here, I was accused of trying to get something for free during her fit when all I was trying to do was avoid others from food poisoning like I experienced:( ugh. Poor communication truly leaves you feeling ran over.Pictured: I was skeptical about the look of my Frappe but have ordered this SO MANY TIMES, I thought, nah It's just me..We'll it's been JUST ME in the bathroom for 16 hours now. DOUBLE YIKES :(

I kept trying to tolerate the taste but unfortunately, this is all i could drink.. i should have asked what matcha they use because it's terrible... glad i didn't waste more money by adding boba

Got the milk tea with boba and manga match tea with mango jelly. The milk tea is more like chocolate milk or coffee milk flavor was not a fan. I'm a milk tea purist so only some people will know what I mean. A bit disappointed because the boba was fresh and chewy which was good. Mango match with mango jelly was excellent! I traded my tea with the wife otherwise I would've tossed it.
