I've been coming to Masricos El Capitan for 4 years now all I can say is! Great food! Fun entertainmentAnd a big shout out to my waitress LORENA! She's an outstanding waitress! She was incredibly attentive! She made sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly demeanor and excellent recommendations made our lunch experience unforgettable! Best Mariscos/Sushi Rolls in Orange County, hands down!! My favorite dish are the cucarachas and aguachile rojo. Great service, Lorena was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Once receiving my food I noticed they added Tajín to my ceviche. They NEVER had before. I don't like tajin and they didn't add a little they added a lot . Also there's almost no shrimp in the ceviche ? And it had a lot of juice. I've came multiple times here and I've ordered the same thing. Unfortunately their quality in food has gone really bad . The empanadas were a weird color,very greasy and very soggy, the cheese tasted weird and it made me throw up. I don't think I will be back at this place . What a disappointment.

Bad service and definitely never coming back. (YES I know the owner/manager/staff etc don't care.)I arrive around 7:35pm on Wednesday Jan 22 for the sushi promotion and yes it was full and yes I knew it was probably going to be busy. (FYI I called 13 times before to make a phone order and NONE of those calls went through). Anyways I get there and one of the waitress takes my order (2 sushi rolls) and tells me what I BELIEVE she said "Your order will be ready in 20 minutes" I said okay thank you. I go back to my car and go back after 20 minutes at 7:55pm. One of the meseros there "shorter guy" comes up to me and I tell him I'm here to pick up my order it's under Jesse and he replies okay I'll call the waitress over I say okay. The waitress comes over and tells me "it's taking a little longer because it's busy but it'll be out soon" and I happily reply "OKAY" everything was okay I hand her my card and she charges. My total was about $18.56 and I even tipped her $2 bucks. ($2 bucks because literally she just took my order and that's pretty much it. I could've added $0 dollars but I UNDERSTOOD that it was busy and I get it.)8:05pm nothing. 8:15pm nothing. I go up to the short guy I mentioned earlier and in a nice way ask for a refund. I'm like "Hi can I just get my refund? I have to go now and I've been here since 7:35pm and it's still not out. I was under the impression it was only going to be 20 minutes and it's been about 40 minutes" he goes like "Yeah it's because Wednesday there's a promotion and it's usually busy and it takes 40 minutes" and I reply like "Okay yeah I understand but I'll just take my refund" I was calm, he was calm and they did returned my refund. What bothered me and the reason why I'm giving them 1 star and NEVER COMING back again isIf after 20 minutes I go back and my order is not ready, WHY COULDN'T anyone let me know "GO BACK ITS NOT GOING TO BE OUT IN ANOTHER 1, 2, 3 hours!!!'" It had already been 40 minutes, why was my order not READY anyways?! if phone calls do not go through because of the amount of calls that are trying to go through, DO SOMETHING about it. Y'all make enough money to figure that out. It's not the first WEDNESDAY y'all go through the special.

One reason I am giving this rating is mainly on service it should had been lower but the food is giving them a chance. When I walked in, I was waiting to be seated, there wa two waitresses and both saw me standing there and literally did not bother to come and greet me. Food here is great but the service definitely has room for improvement.

I've been meaning to review this spot as it is one of my favorites for Mexican seafood and has yet to disappoint. This time I wanted something cold and fresh and the molcajete El Capitan hit the spot. Served with plenty of tostadas to help with seafood goodness it's a must try especially on a warm day. It is loaded with octopus, shrimp aguachili, cooked shrimp oysters and scallop and tastes heavenly in the broth it comes in or with some of the sauces added. My wife had her favorite the "cucarachas" which were their house grilled whole shrimp with dipping sauce and a couple of fish tacos. I was almost jealous of the tacos because they looked so good and the cucarachas were delicious!The service was excellent as always, the only thing that I would ding them for is how loud it is with the music playing. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the music but it can be so loud it is hard to have a conversation without being on top of one another just to hear. That said I 10/10 recommend heading here.

Wow wow wow!! I am so happy. I came in here after being denied at two other restaurants, one for being closed and the other for being packed ended up here after yelping restaurants in the area so impressed. From the consomé and chips they greet you with to all the fresh salsas. Fresh fast and efficient. Are server was delightful and on it kept checking on us very attentive and constantly coming buy to keep table clean and remove plates. Live music banda of course street sellers with roses and a great ambiance what else could you ask for! Oh, and deals every night we were here on a Thursday It was buy a ceviche tostada get one free and the Beers were also buy one get one Las caguamas. Most definitely coming back with an empty stomach.

Carlos Our server was very attentive and took care of my entire table very efficiently. He took our drink order.He made sure we're all taken care of multiple times, and was always available . A plus is our food did come out Super quick! The ambiance was perfect, banda, dinner and drinks! I would recommend Carlos as your server!
