I was visiting my parents, and since they live just up the street from this place, we decided to stop by for breakfast. This is a cute restaurant with great vibes! The service was attentive--we were checked on often, and everything ran smoothly. Now, onto the real reason I write reviews--the food! What We Ordered:Mami's Breakfast - The beef empanadas were exceptional, and I loved the addition of plantains.Nutella & Berries Crepes (By the way, you might want to double-check the spelling of "Crapes" on your website menu!) - Talk about dessert for breakfast! My mom saved me one bite, and it was just as delicious as it looked.Smoked Salmon, Capers & Dill Benedict - This dish looked amazing, and my dad loved it so much he didn't even offer to share a bite!Next time, we'll have to try some of their libations.Would definitely recommend and return!

I'm gonna start out by saying that the decor and presentation of food at this place is pretty. The ambiances is very girly. Now, for the reason why I gave this place a 1 star is service and taste of food. The food looked pretty and very appealing but the taste wasn't there. I ordered a lavender latte and it was bland. Didn't have much lavender taste to it. The French toast was so pretty to look at, but for some reason it didn't taste like real French toast. The bread was hard and kind of burnt on the bottom. My friend ordered the breakfast and honestly it tasted so bland. Not enough salt or flavor. Presentation I would give a 4 but taste of food was not good. As for the service, like many other reviews have stated, the service here isn't good. All the workers are NOT in sync with each other. It's like they basically each do what they think is correct. My friend made a reservation at 9:30am. I arrived first and gave the name to the guy in front that helped me. He asked me to pick which table to sit at and gave me 2 options. I chose the table inside, then literally after sitting for 2 mins, a waitress comes and starts to speak to me in Spanish. I didn't understand what she was saying and told her I don't understand Spanish. That girl didn't speak any English, so the same guy who helped me in the front asked if I could move to another table (even though he gave me 2 table options at first) because the one I chose is for 3 people. Apparently, they just add an extra chair at the end of the small table. He then sat me at a cramped table because next to us had a party of 4 in a small table. They were literally right next to me. For some reason, this restaurant has small tables that they like to cramp a lot of people at. We also had to wait a while for the waitress to come and take our orders because they kept ignoring my friend's raised arm. During our meal, we hadn't finished our food but one of the plates a little bit of food left. One waitress asked if we were still working on it and i said yes. After she walked away, less then 5 mins another waitress just decides to come up to our table and take that same plate away without asking us. My friend and I just looked at each other. When we were paying, the same guy in the front who helped me at first, had hit 18% tip on the card reader and just asked me to tap my card. I was stunned and asked him if 18% was required and he said no, that I could change it. What got me upset is that he didn't offer that option at first and just asked me to tap my card. Sometimes, some restaurants still surprise me thinking that tip is mandatory when it isn't. Tip is based on service and experience. If I receive bad service, why am I still giving a high tip?? That makes no sense at all. Overall, I wouldn't come back here or recommend this place to anyone I know. It wasn't a memorable experience and in my opinion nothing special. There are other spots that have the same ambiances and feel with way better food and service.

My friend and I decided to stop by to have breakfast here. The place seems cute and has nice music but we had such a bad experience. We arrived and the lady in the front just pointed at the desk for us to sit on, didn't even bothered on walking us over. We sat and we were looking at the menu, confused if they offer drinks here as it was not on the main menu?Waited for 20-25 mins for someone to approach us saying "what can I get for you?" Didn't even introduced herself. We then ask her for a drinks menu and she was like.. "it's on the website menu" didn't even offered us a physical copy. We ordered food and a different person drop off our drinks, we asked him which one was what and he was not even able to tell us. Then food was dropped to us without telling us what it was and at different times. We weren't even halfway thru our food and the lady drops off our check. Didn't even asked us if we wanted something else? Really bad customer service overall and really disappointed at the experience. Will not recommend to people. Food was average.

The food was good, but the service took awhile to come take order since It was a big party but we waited a while. Of course this started of Rocky, but then she was pretty good and started to come back to table. I tried the avocado toast and it was very tasty. For my drink I ordered the peach Bellini and that was really good too. I will have to say they the best is the decor, really cute and modern and I really like it. It's fun to come here to celebrate with your family or friends or just to have a good time. It's in a shopping center and easy to find, but parking can be crazy. Marshay D.

I didn't realize that such a cute brunch place existed in West Covina! I came here with my partner last Sunday, and I absolutely loved the vibes and decor. It felt perfect for Valentine's Day weekend. The water came in pitchers with fresh fruit, which I thought was delightful. We ordered the carnitas omelet and sweet caramelized French Toast (our waitress recommended the carnitas omelet over the poblano peppers omelet). Carnitas omelet was sooooooo good. Highly recommend. The carnitas were very flavorful, well-cooked, and not dry. They blended perfectly into the rest of the omelet. The garlic rosemary potatoes, which came as a side, were even better than the omelet. 100% would order again. The French toast didn't stand out as much as the carnitas omelet but it was also good. Since I usually prefer savory breakfast foods, I probably would order something savory next time instead of the french toast. In summary, would definitely recommend you check it out! As another reviewer mentioned, the prices are a little more expensive than what you would expect in the area. My partner and I arrived around 10 AM Sunday morning, and we were seated immediately. When we left around 11AM, there was a line forming outside.

Filling and delicious brunch food! Their mimosas are wonderful, the perfect amount of champagne taste in each sip. Their service is a hit or miss, such as this recent time around I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and they forgot to give me salsa with it. Because we went on a Sunday, it was busier so the staff was super busy with tables and so it took longer to flag down someone to bring a cup of salsa. Our server, I forgot her name but she wears her hair in a ponytail and she's super sweet (she's also served us a couple times already) asked us for feedback on our visit that day because she knows we're regulars here. It's great that the staff and management are open to suggestions for improving their customer service and daily operations.

Cute brunch spotI declare myself an avid bruncher so I was excited to check this place out! It is located in a shopping center that has limited parking so arrive early or you will struggle to get a spot. This location is on the smaller side and the tables in the back feel crammed, therefore arrive early or you will wait a bit. For food we ordered the chilaquiles and french toast. The chilaquiles had flavor and I got a side of meat for some protein, it was good just a bit lackluster. The French toast was the star of the meal, fluffy, warm, and the whipped with berries tied it all together. I do think there prices are a bit overpriced for the area but the portions kind of justify it.Our service was slow and it took a while to get our beverages, they were served same time as food. The decor is lovely and I love their chairs! Super nice for some photos with your meal.

Great brunch spot. We did a surprise birthday brunch for my friend and we had a pretty big party. The staff were kind to join tables together so we could be seated but because the table was long a the restaurant was quite noisy, it was a bit hard to hear people on the other side. The food was pretty good and they gave a pancake thing to the birthday girl which was so nice. Great interior decor

Mamimosas is such a cute brunch spot. I love the decor and there is a variety of food options for every palate. There is a brunch menu as well as a lunch/dinner menu - the waitress said we could order from either menu all day. I was meeting up with some friends and was glad that I was able to make reservations ahead of time. We arrived shortly after opening and were seated promptly. My kids enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy, lightly breaded, and had a slight sweetness to it. The smoked salmon Benedict was good but the star of the dish were the potatoes - buttery and crispy! My husband's steak and eggs were a little overcooked but he enjoyed the dish overall. I also ordered a lavender latte - the drink was good but the lavender flavor was too light. Something I did not like is that it's not very convenient to split the bill if you come in a group. They take a maximum of 2 credit cards, which is fine, but they will only split the bill in half. They will not itemize the receipts per party. My friend and her husband only ordered one dish each so it would have been easy enough to just put their two dishes on one bill. I ended up putting everything on my credit card and we worked it out afterwards. The parking right in front of the restaurant can get pretty full but there's usually parking further down in the lot. Happy eating!

I came here to catch up with a friend over lunch. The food, the interior, and service were all amazing! I ordered the plantain french toast - which was great! The horchata latte was also flavorful and delicious! I want to come back to try their mimosa flight! The inside is sooo pretty, lots of natural lighting, and very detail-oriented with the decor. Service was attentive and fast. There are a lot of tables inside as well, I can see if they get busy on the weekends. I went on a Wednesday at lunch and they still had a decent amount of people inside.
