Great food Great service Fun place with fresh food and great atmosphere in downtown HB!

Came here based on a buddy's recommendation. The pork BBQ was amazing. The scallop roll was the bomb. As was the Philadelphia roll. Wasn't a big fan of the eel. Had a roll and hand roll. Great service. Fair prices. Will be back.

All of it. Salmon rice. Red Snapper. Rice (w Shrimp), service. Really good. Extensive menu. Almost like fast foods sushi; 25 minutes in and out. If you're looking for really good, really fast, this is 100% it.

I've been here twice and I have to say that the sushi is so flippin good. I mean, really good. Our favorite roll so far is the 3rd & Olive because it's different.. and really good! Sometimes it comes out in a circle plate and sometimes it comes out in a longer regular sushi plate but it's the same roll. If you are with someone who may not want sushi, they have so many great entrees to choose from. We've had two noodle dishes so far, the: pad kee mao and the pad Thai both I'd recommend. Other sushi rolls we've tried: lakers love, smooth evil, and the baked scallops roll (which I loved but didn't get a pic of). Again.. everything I've tried from entrees to rolls is delicious! Service is great, too. They do have a tv or two for sports, which is nice.

With the scorching hot weather we've been having this week, went to HB after work yesterday. Watched the sunset and then dinner at Mahkin. One new dish we tried - Crispy Pork Fried Rice and another old fave Baked Salmon Roll. Fried rice was amazing. I was torn between this and Tom Kha soup, but glad that I got to try this dish for the first time.

A cute spot in downtown HB, it was a pretty restaurant with friendly service. Food tasted fresh and decent. I heard their fish was flown in fresh daily, just wish their salmon was more fatty. It was a good meal.

Omikase!!Life is about sharing time with special people and making memories that will last a lifetime. We were fortunate a few nights ago to do an Omikase at a favorite place in HB, Mahkin Thai and Sushi! Omikase was a new concept for me. Surprised that I had not been exposed to it. It was incredible and amazing. First let me say that Mahkin is likely the best Sushi anywhere in south OC. Am I qualified to say that? Yes and no. My family lives both Thst and sushi, and Mahkin is our favorite place in Orange County. And I have overheard so many customers commenting on how amazing the food at Mahkin! You can eat inside or out, it's casual neat downtown HB. And the owners are some of the kindest people I know. EK is a wonderful host. For the most part it's a casual Thai/ sushi place we hit often. Yet this Omikase experience is one I will cherish and repeat for a special occasion. I would liken this to a chefs dinner. Multiple courses, I think perhaps in the case of this Omikase it was 12 courses. And it's very special sushi, Japanese, high end and delicious. I typically order the same stuff. Boring but yummy. I ate everything at this Omikase, and expanded my horizons quite a bit. Everything was incredibly delicious!! For example I loved the salt water eel on a bed of rice. A new dish for me. So tender! We included the Sake pairing. That too was a good decision I thought, the full experience and each course of the meal and sake were explained by the chef and sake "somalier". We absolutely loved the experience. They close the restaurant for your group of 6. It is a highly recommended event for anyone who loves food, friends, family and creating special and magical and memorable experiences. Don't miss this!! And if you think maybe, just go enjoy Thai or sushi with EK and team, they do it the best!!! I have included pics!! Mmmm. This was amazing guys!!!

Excellent service and appetizers/rolls are fabulous! Mahlon roll and Huntington sunrise were our favs.

Stopped in for lunch and glad I did. A good find. Great sushi. Reasonable price. Friendly service.
