So delicious! Great authentic Mexican food! You order at the counter and then take a seat and wait for one of the best dinners you will ever have. The food comes looking so good and you get very generous portions. Tasty options for salsa on the side and to go boxes for all the food you won't be able to finish!I would highly recommend this diamond in the rough.

We are so lucky to have a Lupe's close by. We used to drive over to DP which isn't bad, but the space there is even smaller for the fast food side. The wait can get quite long at the DP location too. You can do pickup or dine-in at the LF location. It's not a fancy place but there's some seating inside and a little at the outdoor patio. A soda fountain and salsa bar is available for self serve. They also serve a couple agua Frescas I think such as horchata, and some Mexican sodas in the bottles. Staff are friendly, the place is clean, and there is sufficient parking in the plaza. Before I forget, you can sign up for their frequent flyer program and collect points for every dollar you spend. Just sign up online or in the Toast app. What we get: -Shrimp ceviche with tostada - so delicious and a must have. -California. Burrito - has fries, guac, carne asada. This is delicious and hits the spot if you also wanted to eat some fries. -surf & turf tacos and burritos - one of our absolute favorites. This is a must order for us every time we visit. -Beer battered fish tacos & burritos - also another must have. It's so good. -shrimp tacos & burritos - yum -carnitas tacos & burritos - yum -tacos Sonora - yum -Lupe's in Cali burrito - yum -Fajita burrito - another favorite of mine -quesadillas -stoner fries and their other specialty fries -salad with or without choice of protein EVERYTHING we have ever ordered here has been absolutely delicious and we have never been disappointed. I haven't tried the Al pastor yet because I didn't start liking it until this year, but that's my next order. Their salsas are very tasty and well seasoned, and they have quite a large menu. You will LOVE Lupe's and keep it on rotation. Trust me.

Great food!! Been tried nearly everything on the menu, and not one miss!!!The Al Pastor is my favorite, followed closely by the surf & turf... Try the tacos, burritos, and Quesadillas . It's all delicious! They usually have a line out the door, but the staff works quickly, so it goes pretty fast. To be safe, I recommend calling ahead. The price is a little more that a typical taco shop. But well Worth it. Dine in, or take out... the atmosphere is great.

I recently got take out fromLupe's. I ordered a carne asada taco and a grilled fish taco. Both tacos were really good, as were their green and red salsas. The corn tortillas were thick and tasted homemade, but they were too greasy. Both tacos were large and very filling. I want to go back and try other items on their menu!

I came to eat here for the first time the other day. I have to say this place was awesome!! The food was fresh and delicious!! The service was GREAT!! This a bit more expensive Mexican franchise, but you be the judge on the price. Personally, i enjoy their shrimp burritos ~$16 as they do not skimp on the shrimp. Lupe's started in San Diego and now has multiple locations across the Southern California area. This location is located on a corner in a plaza with a small parking lot.AL PASTOR TACO ($4.25) - the al pastor was good but personally I thought it wasn't worth the price, especially if you're comparing it to taco shops closer to the $1-$2 range. 3/5CALIFORNIA BURRITO ($15.50) - I've heard that Lupe's California burrito was one of the best in OC so I wanted to try it out. I really liked it and my only wish was that it was bigger. 4.5/5LUPES N' CALI BURRITO ($15.50) - this was like a surf n turf burrito with a California burrito twist with the fries. I liked the shrimp but I preferred the actually California burrito more. 4/5AL PASTOR FRIES ($16.50) - similar to the taco, I liked the al pastor and the crispiness of the fries but I wish they would've filled up the food to the top of the box. 4/5The burritos had solid flavors but they were not as big as other burritos I've had in the area. The service was great and there were four sauces at their salsa bar which were all good. Interestingly enough, I'm not a spice fiend but even I was expecting the salsas to have more kick to them.

Lupe's is a nice little Mexican eatery with indoor and outdoor seating area. It's a counter service so you place your order and then pick up when your name is called. They have a little bit of everything from tacos, quesadillas, bowls, burritos and more. I went for the 2 taco combination which comes with your choice of tacos with rice, beans and a drink. My choices for the tacos were steak and al pastor. In my opinion the steak was just ok as the flavor in the meat itself was slightly weak. The pastor on the other hand was packed with flavor, but they were both very greasy. Make sure to try their salsa at their salsa bar as the salsa verde and creamy cilantro were really good! The food portion is on the smaller side. Overall food experience was industry average but I'll come back to try their stoner fries which is fries with a little bit of everything on it.

Lupe's is located in a corner plaza with a small parking lot, parking can be a challenge during prime time hours. Restroom is single but clean. Customer service was patient, my 2 taco plate came out pretty quickly. Loved the fish taco and rice. Love the ambiance at Lupes. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's super inviting. Will definitely come again.
