Lucky Dog Gelato

Lucky Dog gelato is a great dessert stop. All of the flavors are really good, but I had to go with Salty Oreo. If you're an Oreo/cookies and cream fan you will love this. The peanut butter is also really good. They also sell cookies which are amazing. They are a little stingy about giving you samples though for some reason...

I have been dreaming about this gelato days after having it. Came here after having lunch because of course, I need a sweet treat. I got the butter cake and I was pleasantly surprised how rich in flavor it was with that brown butter. Now this place is a must stop whenever passing through. Service was great and they have a board on the left wall where they have trivia you can play while you sit and enjoy your cup.

We found this gem late one Sunday evening. We arrived about 10-20 minutes before closing and we sheepishly went in. The young ladies working were so welcoming! We thought we might get an eye roll because it was so close to their closing time. They were warm and welcoming. We were offered samples of very delicious and unique tasting Gelato. My husband and I will definitely be back. It is such a precious place and they offered me the cutest stickers for free. Don't miss this adorable place in San Clemente! It made for a perfect ending to our lovely evening.

Love all the variety of flavors available. Was definitely very hard to decide though lol. You can get free sample there before deciding on what to get. The staff members were very patient and friendly. I tried the vanilla sea salt caramel which was not bad. The Cookie Monster was so good (vanilla bean). Wish I got this. I ended up getting Death by Chocolate and Pistachio. They are very generous with the portions. The chocolate is super rich and chocolately. It's a bit on the dark side, but not bitter. This is perfect for true chocolate/dark chocolate lovers. My friends thought it was a bit strong, but I didn't mind it. The pistachio is very natural and just like pistachio, no artificial flavors here. My friends thought it was very pistachio lol. Both flavors are rich and what I would expect. Love their quality!They have a couple seats and benches available inside and seating outside but not a whole lot of seats.I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again. Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you're an ice cream lover like me!

For the longest time I thought this was some kind of dessert place just for dogs...but it's for Humans!! Lucky Dog Gelato is A+. They have some classic flavors as well as some unique ones too, like Apple Cider Donut and Root-beer. The negative for me is the location...somewhat difficult to find parking and not a lot of seating.

I was starving and had to wait for our 7 pm reservation next door so I stopped here for samples. I love the oat milk snd cookies which is gluten free and dairy free.

Vegan option gelato? Yes please! Great options to choose from like peanut butter, mocha, chocolate, cookies and cream, etc. So delicious. Reasonably priced, good size with generous portions. One employ and she was quick and line went fast. Cute little spot. Will definitely come back for dessert.

We love that the gelato is made there! So yummy with good ingredients. The owner of the shop is kind of stern and grumpy but the rest of the staff is really kind. .
