We've been a few times and this place is great! Cash only, but you can pay $1.50 and use a card. We've tried carne asada, shrimp, chicken, and al pastor tacos -- all were amazing. Quesadilla was good (I stole a bite from my kids!). We've tried the elote and esquite too -- definitely pay the 50 cents and get the flaming hot Cheetos on top!I order in Spanish, but it seems like they are bilingual people. Normally I do a great job of taking pictures of the food, but I can't help myself -- I see the tacos and can't help myself from going into a feeding frenzy!

Was not impressed. Specifically came here for esquites after reading all the reviews I had high expectations. The corn wasn't fresh and it was just so salty. I asked the man which was better boiled or grilled and he gave me an annoyed answer like "it doesn't matter whatever you want," lol. We got both the boiled and grilled kind. The grilled one was so dry and cold. Nothing special with the toppings either. Super disappointed.

Second time we have driven there when they say they're open to not find the truck anywhere. Never answer the phone either. Super frustrating :(

I had forgotten my lunch at home and was at clinic and was so thrilled to see a taco truck right outside!!I had a hard time choosing what to order because everything looked so delicious!!!I ended up ordering two tacos: one asada and one pastor (pastor is always my fav). I also couldn't pass up the grilled Elote in a cup!!The lunch was super filling and the taco meats were delicious!!! I would highly recommend trying this truck if you're in the area!!

The service here is friendly but a bit slow since there are only 2 people working here. I ordered 1 asada taco, 1 pastor, 1 grilled corn on a cob and one grilled corn in the cup. The asada taco was okay, definitely better than the pastor. The pastor was marinated differently than usual pastor. The grilled corn on the cob is better than the corn in the cup. The corn on the cup is actually pretty pricey, smallest cup was $6 and not loaded with a lot of toppings. However not sure if it is the chili or cheese, but one of the toppings taste sour. The other reviewer is also correct, this location was hard to find. I thought it would be parked on the main street but it's parked inside a residential street. Also they charge $1.50 for credit card transaction, regardless of price however at the time of purchase, the machine was not working. They also do not use gloves while handling your food, so everything has been touched by hand so that's another thing.

OLY MOLE!!! Mejor imposible!Amazing, authentic Mexican food that pays great homage to its roots from Puebla. Known for their delicious, freshly handmade tortillas, elote (Mexican street corn on the cob) and mole sauces (traditional Mexican sauces made with chili peppers and other spices). A venerable food truck in Santa Ana for over a decade that offers restaurant quality food and friendly service.Their varied menu includes dishes you would expect to find at many sit-down taqueria restaurants: tacos, burritos, sopes, huaraches, tortas, gorditas, mulitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, along with a version of almost any dish topped with mole sauce - prices range from $4.50 to $9.00. Additionally, there is the Mexican street corn either on a cob (elote) or in a cup (esquite) for $2.50. They even make a Mexican street style hot dog, $2.50.Meat Choices:Asada (Beef), Pastor (Marinated Pork), Chorizo (Mexican Sausage), Pollo (Chicken), Chicharron (Fried Pork Skin) $1.75Tripas (Beef Tripe), Cabeza (Beef Cheeks), $2.00Lengua (Beef Tongue), Cecina (Marinated Beef), Camaron (Shrimp), Jamon (Ham), $2.25Tio and Teresa - owners and husband and wife - do all the cooking, makes everything from scratch. Their son Diego helps out on the weekends. They cannot be more warm, friendly, attentive to the details and helpful in answering any questions about the dishes. Tio remembered my name after my first visit. And they certainly take great pride in their food. Family recipes that originate from Puebla, a city in east-central Mexico with a rich culinary history including its variety of mole sauces. Their mole sauce is a very secrete family recipe handed down from Tio's mom. It has a nice delicate flavor: a little sweet, a little savory, nothing too heavy or overwhelming. The sauce goes great with tacos, burritos, enchiladas and huaraches. Their three housemade salsas (roja, verse, negra) are also fantastic. Every dish is prepared as if they were cooked from home. One of the best taco trucks in Santa Ana for 13 years. Every dish is authentic, cheap and made from scratch or to-order. Virtually everything is absolutely delicious! They are most deserving of all the accolades, and I am hopeful, will eventually open a sit-down restaurant.HOURS: Friday to Tuesday, 10am to 7pm, Sunday 10am to 5pm.$0.75 surcharge for paying with credit card. Street curb parking.
