I've been to Lola's Café a few times with AR, who's a big fan of the place. Personally, I think it's just okay. The food is decent, though I feel it's a bit pricey - like $13 for an English muffin, breakfast sandwich? M'eh. (Shrugs.) That said, plenty of other reviewers rave about the café's use of quality ingredients and its inviting atmosphere. The menu does offer variety, including gluten-free options like the veggie wrap with turkey, avocado, bell peppers, and a gluten-free, dairy-free sauce. The ambiance is definitely a plus, with cozy indoor seating and a spacious patio that's great for solo visits or small gatherings. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, and I have to give credit where it's due - the coffee has been consistently good every time I've visited. (I really enjoy the Dirty Chai Latte.)As other yelp*ers have also pointed out, the prices are on the higher side, but some justify it with the quality of food and service. I haven't been here for years, so I decided to stop by for a solo breakfast during the workweek. It's a comfortable little cafe with a large patio and friendly staff. Their food and coffee menus seemed to have good options, and the prices were reasonable.I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was made with good quality, savory ingredients. The iced latte was good too, but unfortunately they don't offer sugar-free flavors. I enjoyed my breakfast and I plan on coming here again next time I am in the area.

I've been coming to Lola's Cafe for years now and it never disappoints. Matt and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly every time I visit and the food always hits the spot. My favorite's the Egg & Avo Smash Sandwich paired with an Iced Hazelnut Latte. I really enjoy sitting on the patio and taking in the chill and cozy ambiance, which just ties everything together.

Very cute place! Great food and reasonable prices. Came with a group of 6 on a Friday for lunch. We got 2x of the tuscan chicken sandwiches, 1 of the egg salad toast, 1 of the grilled cheese with turkey bacon and tomato soup, 1 of the garden breakfast, and 1 of the louis' grilled cheese. Service was pretty quick, and the food was fresh and flavorful! The only con was that the louis' grilled cheese came out as a regular grilled cheese (ie: no brie, no fig jam, no apples, etc). Disappointing, but still good. Will be coming back to try more of the menu!

Love this place when I'm in the area for a super fresh brekky and a delicious GF pastry (that alone is so rare!). They have quite a few gluten free items and everything is made fresh. I also appreciate that many of the ingredients are organic and that they use free range eggs. It's a darling little spot, that seems like they do their best to keep very clean (a special shout out to the restrooms... The ladies restroom was so clean, and smelled amazing!). Also, despite being pretty busy for the morning rush... My order was ready pretty quickly.This place is not cheap... But it's also located in Ladera Ranch, so I'm sure the rent is atrocious. Considering that, and the quality of the food, I feel like the pricing is pretty fair.They also have indoor and outdoor seating... So it's a great local place to catch up with a friend over a delicious meal. I LOVE supporting local- especially when they get it just right
