Lien Hue 1

My friend introduced me to banh nam hue and it's genuinely become one of my favorite foods. I crave it all the time, specifically from here. It's also a little difficult to get your hands on elsewhere, lol. Although I no longer live in OC, I always make it a point to visit this place when I'm in the area.The owners are super nice and quick to deliver, but I don't know if I'd be able to efficiently order without my friend's company because she's able to communicate with them in Vietnamese (there is a language barrier, and I am the most whitewashed Filipino ever) unless I show them a picture of what I want, but I'm for sure going to keep coming back. Not to mention, they're CHEAAAAAAP. So much food at such a great price.I always order as much banh nam hue I can reasonably binge within a week of my visitation, lol-- but I've also tried their bun bo hue (beef & pork blood noodle soup) and that was super good too. Giant portion for the low!For a small shop they've got a decent dining space. Kept pretty clean as well, they also provide condiments and utensils. Heavy mom and pop/homestyle feel, which is my favorite type of atmosphere.

A friend of mine brought some egg rolls to a party and I had to ask where he got it from! He told me he bought them from Lien Hue 1 and I've been coming here since. They are crispy, delicious, packed with meat and a whole shrimp in each roll. I live 45 minutes away and will drive to get these. They warm up great in the air fryer as well.

Food is good. Egg rolls are the best and crispy just have to order ahead of time since a lot of people going over there for their parties.

Những người làm ở tiệm này rất bất lịch sự. Nói chuyện với khách mà như thành phần giang hồ không được ăn học dạy dỗ. 7h mở cửa khách hỏi cần mua chả giò thì nạt nộ "MUA GÌ?" "CHƯA CÓ!" Vậy thì mở cửa 7h làm gì? Tiệm thì dơ không vệ sinh, đồ gắp chả giò thì treo ngay cái bình xịt lửa. Lần thứ 2 cũng như lần cuối không bao giờ quay lại! The people who work here are very rude! Especially the cashier lady. It's the next level of rudeness I'm talking about. Even when I'm Vietnamese, they treated me poorly. Why have the sign "OPEN" turns on at 7, but locked the door, and rudely turned me away when I wanted to buy some egg rolls? Why opens at 7 when nothing is ready then? Not to mention that the last time I came, they used the tong hanging at the fire extinguisher to grab the egg rolls.Never again!

My favorite place to go here to get party trays and service is great here. I've been going here for many years. Lots of good selections. They know me here because I come a lot.

Food was fine -- on the blander side but price is ok (usually 3 rolls for their to-go dishes are $6). Funnily enough, the sauce that comes with the rolls make it blander vs without it.My issue is with customer service. If a food business is going to be rude, at least have decent food to make up for it. Checked on here to see if apple pay was accepted, but might as well not have been included.I usually come here every week when I'm working for a quick pick-up, often with cash because that's preferred. The one time I don't have it on me, they gave attitude the second I asked if they had apple pay. When I said that I didn't have cash on me, that's when they gave in and harshly directed me to tap my apple pay behind the counter. Personally, I would've rather they had lied and said that their machine wasn't working and taken my order elsewhere.

Just got 1 "bun bo Hue",i ordered less noodles,but the women didn't care about what i said,i had my reason to order by my way,because i don't want throw away too much things i don't need. The attitude she gave me just remind me never back to this place again. I asked for the "cha the" she said "steaming more 15mins " as she didn't care i will get or not,that was terrible way ,,never say thank you,when i pay ,she let me waited for couple minutes and talked to other her co-worker ,i felt like she didn't care about the customer and the business where she's working ,the "bun bo Hue" was super salty when i came really early. Long time ago i got there as the last time. No thanks!

Foods, and services are not up to what from my expectation - grade as average. reasonable price if bought in bulk - 20 pieces or more per item. The place is too hot to eat inside- temperature was around 75+ without fans, and air conditioning. The option if you are not too picky of foods. Foods to go will work

Price and services were good. This is the menu I don't read Vietnamese so it was hard for me to understand or get anything else beside what I went there for. I got their Bun Bo Hue it was good just like other places I been to. But for $14 they actually gives enough of noodles and meat but not enough pork blood to me. I like to have a lot in my dish whenever I get Bun Bo Hue... but taste wise I think it was not bad, I would go back again.

My wife and I love to try different small mom and pop restaurants. This is for Lien Hue 1 only, the place is small and tight but we are there for the food. My wife and I each had the bun bo hue, we thought it was edible but was missing something, I needed more sate sauce to make it to my tasting but my wife can't handle the spice so she ate it as is. It does have a lot of the usual proteins that came with it. If you want a better tasting version go to Hues Kitchen. My kid had the banh cash which he said it was good and the broth was sweet. We had their egg rolls which were crunchy with meat fillings and tasted very good. I didn't like the way they charged a dollar for each cup of water. For that they get a 3 star but the food is around a 4 star.
