We were introduced to Le Shrimp Noodle Bar during OC Restaurant last year and have revisited it many times even at their new locations in Fountain Valley and Irvine Spectrum. Daughter said that she would not mind visiting twice this week. We chose to go to the Costa Mesa location after a work shift at around 2 p.m. Victor led us to a table right away. He brought us menus and then brought us the OC Restaurant menu when we requested it. He was the only one on the floor seeing to all the customers at the time. They had their popular noodles available A4 Big Prawn Noodle, A5 Prawn and Chicken Wonton Noodle, and A6 Braised Scallion Soy Chicken Noodle with shrimp broth which could be switched to chicken broth and unlimited noodles with a side of either bok choy or spinach with vegan oyster sauce for $20. There were three of us in our party and we ordered all 3 noodles. Because we were unsure of the ingredients in the vegan oyster sauce, we asked Victor to have the kitchen put the sauce on the side. Victor asked if we were all right with soy sauce. He brought the bok choy and spinach with soy sauce out first followed by the spinach with the vegan oyster sauce. We were amazed at how Victor was able to hold the hot, hefty bowls of noodles. There was plenty of vegetables in the lunch meal with the side and cabbage in the prawn and chicken wonton noodle. The young ladies were quite full and could not avail themselves of more noodles. We all took half our bowl home for eating again later with soup container. Victor also provided a box for the vegetables and a container for the oyster sauce. We were able to eat slowly and enjoy our meal as there were only a few diners and a few takeout orders. Happy hour would not start until 2:30 p.m.We really like the Blogic systems they use for us to complete our payment. They leave the portable device with us and we can have the receipt printed, emailed, or texted to us.

Finally I got to try this shrimp noodle! I'm very much familiar with this dish because is quiet common in Singapore and my family always takes me whenever I go visit them.Located in South Coast plaza , at their newish food hall , it's very easy to spot and the line moves pretty fast. We were greeted by the manager and I think they were understaffed that night because it took us a while to place an order or even to refill our water. They have couple seat variations with table or booth. We went there on a Friday during Chinese new year week, and they had lion dance inside the food hall! The flavor of the broth is soooo rich, won't recommend if you're allergic to shrimp because my partner got a severe allergic reaction just by tasting it tiny bit ! Can't wait to come back!

Parking: ample parking spaceWait: went on a Friday night around 7pm and we were seated immediately. Food: food was really rich in shrimp taste but it was a unique flavor. Service: the staff here was so friendly and sweet. Discounts: there are BOGO 1/2 off discounts during the week and weekend discounts on Saturday and Sunday. We weren't informed about this until after the meal when we got our bill but it was a pleasant surprise.

On cold days, a big bowl of hot noodle soup always sounds so comforting and delicious! The shrimp broth is what Le Shrimp is known for, but I wanted to switch things up from my usual order and try the spicy chicken broth with delicious dark meat chicken and wide noodles. This dish really hit the spot! The chicken was tender and full of yummy five spice flavor, and the noodles were chewy and extremely satisfying. The broth was just spicy enough and very savory. I couldn't get enough of it!Would definitely order this again and I think it would also be a really nice dish if I'm feeling under the weather. Service was friendly and the ambiance at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar is casual. They're pretty efficient too so we got in and out fairly quickly.Look forward to our next visit!

I tried le shrimp quite a while ago. It's from the same paradise group as pradise dynasty from singapore. The food is good and is a unique take on fusion ramen and prawn mee. If you're very familiar with singapore food though, you may think it tastes mostly like prawn mee. It's good for sure but for me it's more of a try it once kind of food. I would rather eat prawn mee on its own, and tonkotsu ramen on its own.

What a cool joint! The design is very welcoming and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The staff is hospitable and kind. Love! Love! Love the food. I had the Soucy Shrimp Chicken Ramen. Just the right kick and not salty. The appetizers were delicious too!

Came on a weekend lunch so couldn't take advantage of the meal deals. The server was actually confused and originally told me we could get the deal but when I mentioned the fine print, he said oh sorry. We ended up ordering the regular menu priced combo with the signature trio shrimp noodle, egg rolls, and iced tea. Egg rolls were tasty but a bit over fried. You can see how dark it came out. Signature Trio Shrimp Noodles tasted good with rich broth but very disappointing to see they changed the shrimp content. My previous visit, it came out looking like the menu photos with large head on shrimp which I love. This time it looked like the regular sized pre peeled and deveined shrimp you get from the frozen aisle of the grocery store. Definitely not the same visual effect nor the Unami taste of the large head on shrimp. The tea we ordered with the combo was Asian branded canned tea.

Perfect end to a long day of holiday shopping at South Coast Plaza. The Trio Shrimp Noodle is the way to go here with Prawns, Prawn Balls, and Wontons. Their broth is excellent, I had finished all of it after the noodles.

This place had been on my list for a bit. I was interested to see what the hype was about the shrimp broth, since they pride themselves on being the first shrimp broth spots for ramen in the US. This location is a bit small, so it is not ideal for large groups or kids. We came here with my 2 year old daughter. While they have highchairs and booster seats, it is a bit tight of a fit and less roomy than other places, especially if you want to take in your stroller. Regardless, they give kids a cute plate, utensils and water cup to feel included. I ordered the Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle since that is what they are known for and added an egg. My husband got the Crispy Chicken Noodle which is with chicken broth. For appetizer, we shared crispy vegetable spring rolls (nothing to write home about). Both of our main dishes were great. It was a bit different to have shrimp broth, but tasty. I did enjoy the wonton included in the soup. I would return here and try other options again next time.

I was excited to try out Le Shrimp Noodle Bar since I'd heard some buzz surrounding the business. I met up with a friend for a weekday dinner, and we had a great time! We both ordered the combo set - one dry shrimp noodle bowl with tofu and one garlic shrimp garlic rice with cucumbers. We also ordered a small side bowl of the shrimp soup - that's the specialty so of course we had to try! The shrimp soup is surprisingly shrimpy - the flavor is strong and good. I really liked the garlic shrimp garlic rice - yes, garlic twice bc both the shrimp and rice are flavored strongly - yum! The shrimp balls that came with the noodles were also great - the shrimp flavor is strong and doesnt get lost like generic shrimp balls at hot pot places. The service was nice and quick! And the restaurant was decorated in a fun zombie apocalypse theme for Halloween. All in all, a good experience.
