Lani's Hawaiian BBQ

i was pleasantly surprised with the food. honestly cant find anything bad to say about the food. portion size was good. flavors were good. i asked for less rice on the spam musubis and they gave the perfect amount. good 3.5 (almost 4) out 5 for me. If the loco moco came with a gravy, if the egg was just a bit runny, and if you guys opened a little earlier, definitely solid 4, possible 4.5.But definitely worth the try!!

We doordashed Chicken Katsu, Macaroni Salad, and Spam Musubi. They're open late at night which is pretty nice! I believe this is a ghost kitchen but they're still so delicious and give generous portions! One of my go to spots to order.Chicken Katsu (5/5): Macaroni salad is creamy and delicious, pairs well with the rice and katsu. Katsu is crispy, moist, and well seasoned. We love how much katsu comes in one box! Its enough for two people to share and still have leftovers. Spam Musubi (3/5): Spam was really soft and a bit undercooked. Lots of rice compared to spam ratio.

The food in itself was pretty good. Actually it was a pleasant surprise for I was preparing myself for disappointment. I started out sourcing what I thought was a gourmet burger establishment and upon arriving there. It was just a store front with a few displays with pictures and menus of 6 different food vendors and a few door bell buttons. There was a pick up station. I was so confused and decided this is not what I was expecting and looked up yell for another choice. Found this Lani Hawaiian bbq. Drove there and again it's a front with multiple food vendors the only difference from the 1st place is the was a few employees there and everything is ordered and paid for on the screens and you get a code on you phone that will be scanned and your food is placed in lockers then pops open by the QR code on your phone.

I was trying to get this on door dash, and noticed that the order wasn't being confirmed. I tried to call, and there was no answer. Extremely disappointed because I wasted my time waiting when I could have ordered from somewhere else. Maybe update your hours if you're going to be inconsistent.

Hit the spot! Ordered the Katsu Chicken with BBQ Beef and Short Ribs Combo through Grubhub. The food was absolutely delicious and more than enough to satisfy my hunger. The mac and rice were a perfect side, and the spam musubi was a tasty bonus. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal

Food here is great. Service is always on point. Eating upstairs is always cool if I'm not taking to go. Definitely a good spot to eat after a workout as it's packed with protein. Definitely recommend.

Best Hawaiian BBQ around!! We order often! Always packed perfectly, and so fresh! Love their sauces and how much food they give you. Best chicken Katsu around! It's so nice and crispy!! We love it here. The Mac salad is amazing too

The chicken and plates here are so so good they taste like real authentic plates from locals in Hawaii . There's some smokeyness to the meat I swear it was surprising .

The food is actually SO yummy, and the portions are HUGE. I eat a lot and I always split this into 2 servings. Definitely would recommend to my fellow carnivores!
