Haven't eaten at Lakeside since they moved. To be honest, we hadn't eaten much at the old location because the food had gone downhill. Good news is the new Lakeside is even better. We had delivery and everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely be going back!

First time dining here. The food was great and so was the service. The restaurant has more than enough room for a large family to eat, but when I went it was just me and my wife. We loved both dishes we ordered. We got the szechuan beef and orange chicken. They were able to make the items custom with no issue (no onions for me). Both had great flavor. The service was also great. Very friendly and able to discuss the menu and our preference. Smelled great while the dishes were being cooked and after. We will definitely be back!

We ordered wonton soup and plain chow mein. I cannot speak to the service or ambience, but the food was disappointing. The wontons were mushy and sour and the veg and things were poorly seasoned. The chow mein was basic but the garlicky flavor made up for any doneness issues. We used to really like this place but this was disappointing.

Directions: About 2.6 miles West of the 241 toll road. In the Albertsons shopping center on the corner of Olympiad Road and Alicia Pkwy. Plenty of easy access parking with handicap spaces provided.A family member took me here, they said the restaurant had recently changed hands and name. We went at lunch 12:30 and there was no other customers that I could see. There was 2 gentlemen coming out, looking pleased. The esthetics were impressive with all the table's elegantly set with cloth table cloths, napkins and nice dinnerware. The ambiance was quiet and relaxing, however remember we were the only ones there LOL!We were seated immediately, no one else there, LOL and our waiter took our drink orders right away. I was a little surprised that there was no green tea on the menu and no free refills on the standard drinks. But I can understand with being newly opened they are trying to make it. The menus were very nicely laid out with good photos and descriptions. The waiter was very pleasant and accommodating to our requests. I had the Lunch #5 Pork Chow Mein (see photo) my family had the Garlic Chicken and Orange Chicken. Portion sizes were average and the food had very good flavor. It came with a small foil wrapped fried wonton, I think piece of chicken, but it was to over cooked (burnt) to tell. This restaurant has a lot of potential and is heading in the right direction. Some improvement suggestions are:1. Waiters dress up more to match the elegance of the dining area. He was pretty casually dressed for the setting.2. Waiter check on customers during the meal more, bring beverage serving pitcher for water refills in lieu of taking glass in the back to refill.4. Verify that no food is overcooked.3. Clean and dress up the restrooms please.

Have not been to Lakeside cuisine since they relocated from Alicia Parkway. Much smaller closer to a fast food restaurant now instead of a sit down dining room. Food was excellent. We had lunch and the portions were very large more than any of us could eat. Service was exceptional. Would recommend and would eat there again

I think there is new ownership and while they state the chefs are the same, I believe there are new recipes. All wait staff previously here is also gone. Our lunch special came with salad - but it had no dressing. We asked for dressing and it was more like soy sauce that we got. We ordered sizzling rice soup. The rice came out after the soup. It did not sizzle. The soup was not very hot. My Szechuan Beef came with the same thick brown sweet / cinnamon sauce that my friends Egg Foo Yung came with. I am allergic to cinnamon so I've been coughing the last hour. It was nowhere near the correct sauce and how do two completely different dishes come with the same sauce?!?The appetizers that come with the lunch are also different. The service was decent but nothing was right at our table nor the other two tables that had guests at them either. We hadn't been here in a couple years and that scratched our itch to know if we needed to return. We do not. Hours are also wrong on Yelp and their website. They open at 11:30 on Sundays. Not sure about the other days.

Had to apologize to friends for their good Christmas Day. Egg Foo Young was small thin and greasy with really no gravy. We've been there in the past, but we will not go again. I recommend you find another Chinese restaurant as we are going to do.

The time when we were there, it was hot day and the air conditioning was not working and they had floor fans. They had empty pizza boxes stacked on the tables. We had Kung pao chicken, it had a tomato tasting sauce, which was not traditional. Also it had a lot of fillers like water chestnuts and very little chicken.
