This is a good farmers market (like the Sunday one at Laguna Niguel off of La Paz, very similar vendors)The difference is the location, very easy to make a day of it, starting at the farmers market.Come early if possible, cuz parking isn't HORRIBLE then (I showed up at their opening around 8am and found parking easily.. though the parking lot ($4 all day parking as of 12/21/24) was getting full but there was also paid street parking)The vendors were similar to the Saturday farmers market, with exception of this vendor selling rotisserie chicken that was absolutely delicious fresh off the fire with this delicious cilantro yogurt sauce.. It was an amazing morning, especially biking around the neighborhood after! If I have friends or family that I want to take to a farmers market over the weekend, I will be bringing them to this one!

*** Saturday only from 8 AM to 12 PM ***This small but mighty farmers' market is located in Downtown Laguna Beach and this market is all about fresh picked produce with no vintage vendors.[Parking]: Street parking only as the adjacent parking lot (Lot 11) appears to be limited to resident/employee permits only. I found a parking metered spot right in front of USPS office just a block away, but the paid meter had a 30-minute time limit. 30 minutes was enough as I was able to finish the whole market in 15 minutes. The metered parking rate was $2.50 per hour (so capped at $1.25 per 30 minutes).[Vendors]: Talk about farmers' market in its purest form - free fruit samples and vendors here only sell fresh produce and other food-related items. There are approximately 30 vendors and I spotted the following items: pistachios, mushroom, bread, matcha, coffee, coconut milk, hummus, cold pressed juice, almond, kombucha, etc. The only non-food related vendor was a vendor selling plants and flowers. I sampled an organic apple and ended up purchasing two bags for ... $6.50 a pound. Absolutely delicious apples, but it was one of the most expensive apples I have ever purchased. I am a sucker for any farmers' markets that offer free food samples and I am a huge fan of Laguna Beach Farmers' Market.

This is a fairly large farmers market in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach. It's cute and worth a trip to try all the samples. Open every Saturday from 8 am-12 noon.

I haven't been to too many farmers markets but this one is by far the best in its large size, proximity to other places you want to go, diversity of items, and quality. The problem is that you have to pay for it and go early before the beach crowds make their way into the canyon. Try to go before 9am to get a metered spot. The star minus is for the prices. $6/lb for some fruit sounds outrageous! Things don't have marked prices so when you're ordering, you're already too deep into the buying process. I got 2 desserts from 1 stand; they cost $21 and weren't even that large. I also got a couple pieces of fruit for $17. Prepare to split with the dollars in your wallet at this place. They charge $12 for a matcha latte which is insane considering how much you can make it at home. This farmers market is truly for the 1%.

Cute little farmers market in Laguna Beach. Had lots of produce options and some small business pop-ups but definitely could be a bit crowded during the busy hours. Got some really good Keifer Soda here!!

This rating is due to exorbitant high prices by some of the produce vendors that are not displaying produce costs.Came upon the Farmers Market for the first time on March 18, 2023 and was impressed to see what was at the market overall - produce and beyond. It hadn't occurred to my spouse and I that the following small purchase would cost $30:- a small bags of tangerines (23 ounces) - apples (20 ounces)- 3 small grapefruits Shame on us for not requesting prices before purchase and continuing with purchase at the register. Lesson learned for us - but unfortunate for vendors operating under customary commerce principles at the market - their future business at the market is effected as patrons are turned off by the "bad apple(s)."
