La Michoacana Ice Cream Parlor

Lilliana with the thick winged eyeliner and long rat like ponytail is extremely rude and racist. I brought my girlfriend (she's Asian) and she intentionally skipped us while we were waiting in line. Twice. It was blatantly obvious she was skipping us because while we we were waiting, another family walked in and she immediately went to help them. When her colleague noticed, she looked at her and mentioned that we were waiting first and she acted like she didn't care. Although her colleague apologized for her behavior, it seemed like it wasn't the first time she acted this way. Disappointing racist people still exist.

Walking in it looked like they had just opened. Customer service was not present. I went for the mangonada, and as the picture shows it looked so good! I was so happy when I saw the size & just simply how good it looked! This was not a mangonada! The mango ice cream was TOO creamy! It did not taste or had the texture of ice cream what so ever! That alone ruined it for me.

I've been to this location about 4-5 times and each time it has been an "ehh" experience.Their raspado de vanilla was good. I tried the esquite with noodles and it was alright, nothing special. My daughter had a milkshake and it had an after taste like freezer burn. Tried their paleta de ganzito and it was good. The place it self is cute but every time I've been in there it smells like fabuloso, which can be a good indication that it's clean but the smell of chemicals can be overwhelming and kind of a turn off when I'm about to eat something. Last time I visited the cashier had a dog in the back where she was prepping food, not sanitary but it was a cute dog. To be honest, I'll probably just support the local elote lady and man that sometimes pass by here.

I've tried several popsicle flavors at this location. They also offer the flavors in ice cream form. In general, I heart La Michocana. SO many options to choose from. Enjoyed the strawberry w nuts, goat milk w caramel, and the dried fruit w nuts flavors.

This is the place where every Mexican snack or treat I can think of comes together. They have a wide range of scooped ice creams, paletas, chips, mangonadas, and so much more here!Today I got to try their esquites (grande) which is essentially a Mexican street corn all in a cup. It's a cup full of crunchy kernels of corn all in one cup that is sauced up with mayo, cheese, hot sauce, and anything else you might get on your elotes. It looks like they even take some custom requests because there were people in front of me that got hot cheetos in theirs! The entire cup was super flavorful and the hot sauce is pretty strong. Only thing I can say is that I wish they didn't put so much corn water into it because it was pretty soupy.When I came, there wasn't any ice cream flavor names like you would see in other ice cream parlors. So if you're a first timer here it could be a little difficult knowing what's what. But overall, the workers were nice and I think they would have no problem helping you out!

Ice cream was good. The staff was fast and friendly once we walked in the door. Place itself has great corners for cute photo ops.

Came here with my girlfriend because they were offering $1 scoops via the FiveStars app. Ice cream sounded good, and we had never been here before so why not?Overall it was a great experience. The lady who helped us out was very friendly and allowed us to sample a few of the flavors we were eyeballing Ultimately, we went with the guava one and the nutella, ferrero rocher one. Both were great choices!Highly recommend stopping by, they have a ton of great flavors here. Definitely would come back.

It shows it is open til 9pm. The lady closed at 7:45 because it takes the store an hour to do the closing procedures. I told her they need to update the hours to the actual open hours. She said that eventually will.We drove 45 mins to get there. We are not from LA.

The ice cream was good but the spoon they use for it is weak and flimsy had to work to get some good scoop. Luckily when I got home I had more sturdy and strong spoon better plastic material.
