Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

Sushi quality isn't as good as waka sakura but my kids love this place. Being elementary-aged kids, they feel so grown up by picking their own food and ordering their own food and clearing dishes. Super fast to get in, great rewards program, fun prizes at each 15 plates.... place is a winner (it's just expensive compared to other places). Nevertheless, it's an experience for them and parents can chill and kids are happy. Finally, this location is much larger than Brea.

One of my favorite Kura locations. From my experience I've been seated very quickly, checking in through their app or not. The specialty orders that you can request from the tablet that's at each table are made very promptly and I've never had an issue with the quality of the food on the conveyor. Since it is a revolving sushi bar it's more autonomous and there's less waiter/waitress involvement other than the occasional drink refill and the check-in to make sure you're doing okay, but when they do stop by your table they are very kind and attentive :)Overall I like this place a lot! No complaints from me. Look forward to coming here again in the future

Food was good, not that much rice compared to like supermarket sushi. Service was cool and you get like a prize after 15 plates. Just don't try the sea urchin, I rather eat the cheese from Dairy of the a Wimpy Kid that it.Vibe was chill, but there's always that big back who takes all the plates from the conveyor belt.(Ps. I was the big back)

I went back after a couple of years as things change over the years. Yes! This is the Kura I know! Like the Brea one was, sushi was fresh, affordable, and tasty. We loved that you can pick off the conveyer belt but also order what we wanted. The rice was packed tightly and tasted the way it should be this time. Yay Kura! I'll be back again soon.

The fish was incredibly fresh, with the tuna melting in my mouth, and the salmon had a smooth texture. The rice was perfectly sticky and seasoned, adding a nice balance to the rich flavors of the fish. All of the food was so good. The service was fast when we want a refill.

This is my favorite location in OC, new, open, bright and clean! Parking was also not as challenging as many others. The staff here are also nice and attentive. Food is decent for the price...remember to download their apps for points and special promotion. My kid is most excited about the toy after 15 plates.

Haven't been to a conveyer sushi place in a while. Service was 5 stars. Instructed procedure very well. Service was very attentive.Ordered almost all off the tablet. We were please with all sushi, except for 2. The spicy tuna hand roll was just ok. The tuna mixture was pretty much a paste consistency. Felt it was TOO smooth & flavor was a bit lacking. I pulled a yellowtail pair off the converter belt (one of 2 I pulled off). Didn't seem as fresh as the other nigiri sushi. Even with 2 subpar items, we would go back. So much easier & definitely quicker than a traditional sushi place. Interior decor seemed fairly private. Booths had very high backs so couldn't see or feel the closeness our neighbors next to us.

omg I haven't visited Kura in a while and this visit definitely reassuring me that I shouldn't come back. The wait and the service were great because there was barely a wait, and we got seated immediately. However, the food was when it gets bad. The quality definitely gone down quite a bit to the point where the fish wasn't fresh and smells fishy. One of which was the salmon toro that we got. The fish was FROZEN LOL like it was icy when I bit into it. On top of that, the sweet shrimp smells really really fishy. Kid you not, I could smell it right when I took it off the conveyor belt. I think the only good thing here was the garlic salmon.I definitely will not return

We enjoy coming here! It's fun and the food hits the spot! The restaurant and bathroom are clean. Servers are friendly and helpful. There is also a robot server that serves you drinks. My favorite sushi I get here is the umami oil salmon nigiri. I also really enjoyed the black sesame mochi for dessert. We paid around $72 not including tip.
