Kung Pao Bowl

I went with a friend that had been there and thought the food was great. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and shown to a booth. We were given menus and after a short time our orders were taken. I ordered the walnut shrimp and my friend ordered the stir fried chicken. When our orders arrived I was surprised about the amount of shrimp along with cooked broccoli and carrots. The chicken was on a hot iron plate and had broccoli and carrots. I must emphasize the HOT plate as if you have children it could be dangerous. I tasted the chicken which was very good but the shrimp were amazing. They had a very mild cream sauce that was drizzled on them and were had a very light crumb coating.The atmosphere of the dining room was very enjoyable including the artwork on the walls. I have never seen a painting of an alligator with birds riding on it's back. I will recommend this to anyone that wants good food served in a pleasant atmosphere and I will definitely go there again.

My husband and I gave this place a try. We came in on a Friday night and there wasn't a wait. We were greeted and seated right away. The server was friendly. We tried the honey walnut shrimp and fish in hot garlic sauce. We ordered white rice on the side to go with the dishes. The restaurant wasn't loud. I would come back.

So my wife and I have been craving some good Chinese Asian food and while we were out furniture shopping at a store in Huntington Beach, we found Kung Pao Bowl within a 2 mile distance from where we were. We saw a couple of take out restaurants listed but we felt like dining in the restaurant since we were too far from home.We got to the restaurant which was conveniently located with easy access and plenty of parking. As we walked in, it was easy to see the restaurant is very well maintained and we were promptly seated then received quick attention by a very accommodating staff.My wife ordered the Walnut Shrimp entree and I ordered the Beef and Broccoli entree, for a few dollars more each, they came with a soup option along with 2 egg rolls, a fried cream cheese wonton, and a butterfly fried shrimp as appetizers, all really good and worth the extra.Once we received our entree's we were not disappointed. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the white walnut sauce was delicious. The beef was so tender, not chewy at all, and the delicious sauce over it all yummy. Everything so fresh and perfectly cooked. Just in case you were wondering about portions, we left with 3 containers of left overs!

The food & service were equally great! Very kind people and the food was yummy! All that's pictured came with the lunch special! Great deal and delicious.

Now that ihave brought my granddaughters here, this has become our generational family place. We came with great grandpa, granny, mom and dad, and now my granddaughters. Wow! 4 generations! We all love their food!See you today!

King Pao Bowl has become our go to Chinese restaurant! We have ordered takeout as well as dined in. Each experience is consistent. The employees are kind and efficient. The cleanliness of the restaurant is top notch!My favorite dishes are the honey walnut shrimp and the curry noodles. The steamed dumplings and egg rolls make for great appetizer choices as well. I was looking forward to coming here, and Kung Pao Bowl proved even better than expected:Tasty food, nicely presented. I tried the Mongolian Steak. The meat was tender, and the vegetables were fresh; a great rendition of a classic entree.Friendly, efficient service. The restaurant was sparkling clean.Terrific atmosphere. Great decor, almost elegant in-design.A wonderful experience; will definitely be back!

My fam loves coming here after we get our nails done next door. It's a cute Sunday family day we have and I always enjoy the time we share. We were the first customers there when they opened so we received all our food quickly, service was great and everyone is super nice. Solid Chinese food, not too greasy or over seasoned. Delicious.

This food is the kind you hope for when you want that "Hole in the wall" flavor that isn't bland or too salty etc..I ordered the combo fried rice and the Kung Pao Combo. Exceptional flavor and quality/quality.
