Kona Loa Coffee? More like Kona LOVE Coffee. This place is a total vibe. I kicked things off with the Spanish Latte, and wow - it's like your taste buds get a warm hug from cinnamon. My wife went tropical with the Island Latte, and the coconut made it so light and breezy that I half-expected a tiny umbrella to come with it.For food, we went big. The Ham, Egg, and Cheddar on a croissant was fresh, flaky, and so good it disappeared faster than I'd like to admit. Then came the almond croissant. Let me tell you, this thing is dense. You could share it, take it home, or use it as a paperweight - but trust me, you will finish it because it's that good. The ambiance? Perfect for working or pretending to work while drinking more coffee. They've got a cute little workbench for laptops, and even though the space isn't huge, it's surprisingly quiet. Plus, the staff are super friendly, and the prices won't make you cry into your latte. Will definitely be back!

My first time trying Island Vintage Coffee in Hawaii, I fell in love with their coconut, macadamia nut frozen coffee and have been craving it since. Stumbled upon this cute Hawaiian coffee shop on Yelp and asked CK to take me here (my chauffeur when I'm in socal). Very cute coffee shopped decorated with Hawaiian inspired posters and decor, friendly staff, and spacious. I saw that they had a coconut, macadamia nut frappe and immediately ordered it. A regular size comes with 2 shots and a large comes with 3 shots. I got the regular + an extra shot since I needed the caffeine that day. I skipped on the whip cream but will get it next time. Their drink taste as close to Island Vintage Coffee that I could find in the mainland so far. Would love to come back again! They also had some tasty treats like jalapeno spam musubi, but I'm not sure why they were refrigerated (wouldn't this harden the rice?)..

Location is very easy to find with a big parking lot. Was in the area and needed a quick breakfast + good coffee so found this place on yelp. My husband and I go to Hawaii every year so we were excited to get a taste of Hawaii once again. We ordered ahead of time since we were in a rush but service was prompt and our food was done faster than expected. The ambiance is very cute and I'm impressed with the size of their menu. I got the Hawaiian chicken panini with an iced island latte. My husband got the Hawaiian breakfast with Portuguese sausage and avocado. He also got the açaí smoothie. I'll say the drinks were very good and I was not disappointed. The food however was not my favorite. The panini was not very flavorful and I was disappointed. The Hawaiian breakfast was not bad, as the Portuguese sausage was able to elevate the dish. Overall, I would give this place 4 stars (leaning more towards 3 stars) but because service was great and the drinks were good, I think a 4 star rating is reasonable. Unsure if I'd come back.

I was going on a big hike and needed to fuel up. I'm usually really good about limiting how much I order, but I could not help myself with this shop since everything looked or sounded so good. The breakfast menu looks phenomenal and I was debating between the burrito and the Hawaiian breakfast. I decided on the burrito because I can take it on the hike with me. The burrito was underwhelming, lacking in taste and I immediately regretted it and wished I went with the Hawaiian breakfast. I did take it on the hike with me, but still felt disappointed. I also got the amazing looking chocolate croissant. It's always a debate for me between chocolate and almond, but the chocolate was big and it looked soooo very flaky. Unfortunately, once heated in the shop it was not flaky and more soft and chewy. I wonder if it was how they heat it up? I took it home and popped it in my toaster oven and it was better. Topping it all off was the dark muscavado latte. Muscavado is an unrefined dark brown sugar. I enjoy my coffee unsweetened, but wanted to try this latte as the barista says it's has mild sweetness. Very true. Just a hint of sweetness and I can taste the roasty bitterness of the coffee.. luv it! When I come back, I also want to try to Honey Bee latte (tumeric, honey, and cinnamon). It sounds delightful. The medium and large lattes come with 4 shots of espresso. The small has 2 shots. They also have a line up of premade musubis for grab and go also. Online order available. The store has ample seating. The decor is inviting. I came at 7:00 am on a Sunday so parking was great, but the lot is small and is shared with various businesses. There are 1 hour parking limit signs up so it may be difficult parking during prime time, but I do not know for sure. They are located next of an L&L, which for a minute makes me think I'm in Hawaii. Haha. Please come and try this coffee shop and create your own experience.

*DoorDash order*A bunch of my coworkers and I decided to order drinks from Kona Loa. Here's what I got: * Matcha latte with oat milk (hot) - excellent quality matcha. I could tell that they used Ceremonial Grade matcha - it was smooth, a vibrant green color, and prepared with no clumps. My only regret was ordering it unsweetened, but otherwise, it was great. * Iced Island Latte (coconut & macadamia nut) - we ordered quite a few and I tried some leftover from the fridge the next day. It still delivered a nice caffeine boost and it wasn't overly sweet. Final score: 5-stars. I haven't visited the coffee shop yet, but the quality of their drinks is amazing! :)

I've been going to this spot for years and the quality has always been great. Definitely a hidden gem in southern orange county for a coffee shop, and it's Hawaiian too!I always go here to get a lot of work done and the moodiness of their interior makes it feel relaxing, homey, and comforting. My go-to is usually the Spanish Latte but I tried the Coconut Macadamia Nut latte w/ Oat milk and it was very well made. You can taste the hints of both coconut and macadamia nut, and the strength of the coffee but no flavors over power another; it's also sweetened to perfection for someone like me who isn't a fan of super sweet coffee. I've stayed here all day to do work, stopped by to get a pick me up drink, definitely a great place compared to a lot of coffee shops in south Oc. Just wish they had more plugs where the tables are but that's it! They serve fresh spam musubi & there's also an L&L next door too. Small parking lot but I've always gotten lucky! Highly recommend :)

The best latte I ever had in my life! It's called Island Latte. Can you see the creamy fluffiness on top? Have you detected the dark coffee bits all around? Also the perfect sweetness with a flurry of nutty flavors. It's a heaven! This is my new go to coffee spot from now on. If you're a newbie to this location, start your journey with this one

First time at this spot such a great atmosphere the second you walk in. I fell in love with their matcha and strawberry syrup, their medicine ball came in clutch since my girlfriend wasn't feeling well. S/o to the staff for recommending the bacon egg sandwich, tasted so delicious! Can't wait to try their burrito next!
