My cousin and I went here for lunch today and it was delicious! The restaurant was nearly empty so we were quickly seated and helped. We each ordered a bento box and both loved our meals! My favorite was the sashimi - which is often hit or miss at sushi restaurants - this tasted fresh and the consistency was perfect! Parking was a little tough to find but we ended up just doing a meter (make sure you either bring coins or have the ParkMobileApp). There were a decent amount of people coming in for takeout but the restaurant itself never filled up. I will be back!

The food is always extremely tasty, there are never any leftovers when we come to this restaurant. The service is quick and ambiance is always pleasant. You can tell that the store owners have been running this place for a while as they're a well oiled machine. My fav item is usually the standard spicy ramen + a sushi side combo, which is just an awesome deal.Would always be willing to come back, great vibes, tasty food and reasonably priced!

This spot definitely gives off mom-and-pop vibes, but just know there's no sushi bar seating here. The service was solid--quick and efficient, perfect if you're trying to get in and out fast. That said, the ambiance leans more fast-food joint than date night.As for the food, it was mid. The scallops had a bit of a fishy taste (not ideal), but the salmon and yellowtail sushi were decent. The crunchy roll was solid--big and tasty--but the beef teriyaki was a major miss. It tasted like it came straight from a bottle, super processed and lacking flavor. Definitely skip the beef bowl and try something else if you go.Overall, it's just okay. It works if you need something fast, but if you're looking for a vibe or memorable experience, this ain't it.

I left a meeting and was hungry, I had time as the bus was not coming for another 20 minutes figured I'd jump in and grab a bite. I walked in the place was packed as all good hole in the wall spots are. She sat me down and gave me a menu as she rushed around tending to a full house she got my order gave me my soup and it did take some time to get my bento box but I got it. I ordered salmon hand rolls. They were fresh I asked for more Wasabi I like it hot she gave it to me with a smile and teriyaki space to as I like to put it on my rice. She is a super woman tending to all customers, cleaning up when they leave also assuring the next people will get a clean table I ate and paid. Stepped put and 3 minutes later bus came.The place is a cute hole in the wall. The prices are very reasonable. This is my new spot to come 2 times a month. I recommend this to anyone who likes good fresh sushi. I approve this place. Don't believe me come check it out yourself and share how tour experience was. Way to go koco sushi.

Sushi is fresh and delicious. It's close to my office where I work so we love walking here to get lunch. We all talk about how they're a good sushi spot. If you sign up for their emails they will send 10% off occasionally. I've tried several of their rolls and they're so good, anniversary my favorite is the Lol be e Roll. They also shape it like a heart. If you didn't have a sushi spot nearby you and your sort of in the area, is definitely recommend this place. Very solid sushi place for the area. I continue to come back.

Koco sushi is a joint that I typically would not try. Located in the heart of Santa Ana on Main Street. First gripe is no parking . Parked on street and had to pay . Sunday are free by the way but I didn't know . Second issue . Lunch prices are not on weekends . But not mentioned anywhere on menu . Now the food . It was pretty good . Very tasty and fresh . They give you so much. I had the 3 item bento and it was too much food . Crunchy roll was a bit stale . Spicy tuna roll was excellent. Pork katsu was just ok also . Everything else was excellent. Great lunch spot. I was it was more convenient to eat here though

The service was a little slow, however, she was very kind. We tried the Disney roll and it's very creamy and can get heavy quick but soooo good! Had the rainbow roll and the quality of the fish was great! Lastly we had the spider roll and I think that was our favorite! Had a side of fried onions and was a great texture to the sushi. The green tea had a great toasted rice flavor and the Thai tea was not overly sweet. The place is a little small and does feel a little cramped.

Convenient lunch spot if you work in the downtown area. I had the two item bento box where I chose teriyaki salmon and crunchy roll and came with rice, miso soup and house salad. I recommend the spicy garlic edamame - it has a kick though, but be warned if you're planning on heading back to the office!
