Kin Sushi

For appetizers, got the spicy garlic edamame and a jalapeno bomb. Get the spicy garlic edamame. It is so good. Probably the best I've had from a sushi restaurant. You can smell it as they make it and it perfumes the room. From the nose, you can tell it is going to be good. The jalapeno bombs were great too. The tempura batter on it was nice and light. Not heavy or greasy at all. For rolls, got the Destiny, Dragon, and Kill Bill roll. Loved all of them. The Destiny surprised me. I thought the salmon and yellowtail would clash together but the ponzu really brings the flavor together. It was a really refreshing roll, highly recommend. The Dragon roll was great, can't go wrong. The Kill Bill roll had great flavor in the spicy tuna. I'm usually picky with spicy tuna as it can be overpowering sometimes but this was perfectly balanced. Almost forgot, I also got uni nigiri. Great uni. They also top it with real wasabi. Will probably get it again. As for service, everyone was friendly and attentive. Definitely will stop by this place again. I have to try the other rolls on the menu.

Kin Sushi is my new favorite spot!I have been here a few times since discovering it on Yelp. Their sushi is very good. They even do custom requests!They also sell other asian dishes, but sushi is what I always order. The atmosphere is good, and they have a cool saltwater fish tank in the center of the restaurant.

Today I ordered the 3 hand roll combo on my lunch. The meal came with Miso Soup and Salad. For only $15. There are a lot of choices, but I went with the Spicy Salmon, California, and Spicy Tuna. They give you a very decent amount of filling I could only finish two! They packaged my food very neatly, utensils, wasabi, and ginger included I was very pleased with how quickly my order came out. Quality was perfect and the woman who greeted me made me feel welcome & happy to be there :)

I'm into my hot sake and this one is very good. Very smooth and came out instantly . Perfect way to end the long day Pretty cute atmosphere and attentive staff, I watched them accommodate a large group super quick.

So far amazing. We went on a random night when we were craving sushi and it definitely hit the spot. The Server recommended the Destiny role which did not disappoint. Just order it, don't ask questions. I can't remember what else we ordered maybe the super crunchy and something with tuna which were good as well. Will be coming back just for the Destiny roll alone! We did go on a random Tuesday so we were the only ones there.

Happy hour 4-530 pm Mon thru Fri. A variety of rolls, gyoza, hand rolls, sake and beer are offered. Beer is $3.50, rolls are $12. You end up saying a couple of dollars per roll during happy hour. The rolls are very thin and small. The mango tango roll was good, ordered two of them. Rainbow roll and autumn roll were also good. Also got the salmon collar, it was ok. And a couple of orders of gyoza. Overall hit the spot if you're craving for some Americanized rolls.

Kin Sushi is great! I REALLY enjoyed the Salmon Carpaccio, which has a delicious Sesame sauce (a different take than most Salmon Carpaccios I have tried). We also got the Destiny Roll (favorite roll), Kin Roll, and Albacore Delight (very similar to Kin Roll). Staff was friendly and ambience was what you would expect. Overall, we had a good experience and I will definitely come back again!

I'm back a few months later to check if the deal was real or I just hit an especially good day. Even better than last time. I think I've identified it as high quality ingredients. It's the avocados you can't buy in the store, super thick cuts of fish, and consistent production. No wonder they were doing mad delivery orders when I was there. Personally I love the dining room. Fish tank, cool chefs, big TVs and good music.

WELL worth the visit!! The Baked Scallops and the crunch roll were among the best I've ever had. I washed lunch down with delicious hot green tea. The service and ambience match the food too. Can't wait to come back again.

Not the best sushi.It feels like we were duped by the ratings. This place is not that good for 77 dollars.We got four items- rainbow roll, baked lobster roll, sashimi sampler, and lovers roll.The lobster roll was gloopy, with overly sweet, and had very little lobster.The sashimi sampler was three types that's fish and they came with sauces- just serve it with the fish plain! The rainbow roll and the lovers roll was meh- not good or bad just meh.For this price and quality- I won't be back. I'm willing to drive to Irvine for better sushi.
