Joe’s Italian Restaurant & Bar

Five stars for the great energy, lively atmosphere, and impressive team work among the friendly, bustling crew! Our server was friendly, professional, and attentive. We'd hope to land a spot at the bar top or in the bar but too busy; however, we were pleased to be offered a cozy booth.Nice starting off with complimentary soft-and-warm bread and softened butter. We both ordered off the "Italian Favorites": Chicken Sorrentino and Chicken Piccata for me, which comes with a side of pasta (of your choice). The portions are quite generous and tasty -- but not entrees we'd necessarily order, again; I'm interested in sampling other menu items. Fun for a family-friendly vibe. Hopefully, we'll succeed at sitting at the bar top next time!

First time coming here. Nice atmosphere! I'm from the east coast so was excited to see the NYC skyline on the wall. A lot on the menu. My husband and I split a big ceaser salad, was pretty bland. I ordered a limoncello martini.. it was OK.What really sucked was the service. Our waitress literally was the worst. She walked past our table about 4 times, we just wanted to place our order .. had empty drinks. My husband tried getting her attention multiple times. It was disappointing because she was giving the other tables all the attention. Finally we placed our order. My husband got the Sicilian pizza, it was disgusting! Burnt, barely any cheese. I got the fettuccini with chicken and Marsala sauce. It was ok, nothing special. But again the service was absolutely terrible, won't be back.

Where to start! Too bad they don't allow for 10 stars. It's a place that is welcoming and truly has the Italian feel. FAMILY. That's joes, when you're here you feel comfortable, attended and the kids get to be kids. The wine selection is top notch and let me start with the food, it's amazing! There isn't an order I've put in that has disappointed. Thank you Joe, you bring a quality product to a family neighborhood. We appreciate you! And to those reviews any less, I think Olive Garden is a great alternative. Give that a try. You're not meant to appreciate small businesses. The liberal tears can shed elsewhere.

I only wish that I could give Joe's more than 5 stars. My family took me to Joe's tonight for my birthday. What an incredible dinner! The food is just amazing. The Fra Diavolo sauce here is the best anywhere. My wife's angel hair pasta was covered with fresh clams. Our server Adrian was amazing, especially considering we were a party of 8. I can't say enough about how wonderful Joe's is!

Lots of parking.Sat promptly.Wonderful Happy Hour menu.Lots to pick from on the dinner menu. Something for everyone. We had the meatball sliders and the Chicken Milesna. Both had great flavor. It was our first time there but can't wait to go back.Lots of tv"s to see the games.Staff was all nice and very helpful.Good wine selection.Must try spot.

Great Italian American cuisine, great service and great atmosphere! We were fortunate to find it. We split the caprese salad, the gnocchi ala Joe and two big pours of wine. Will definitely be going back.

Food service was exemplary and my friend's dish and my dish came hot, tasty & lovely!

Absolutely the best Italian in South OC, hands down! Go there and tell me otherwise. And if you meet Joe, you'll love the experience even more.

Secret Menu Lance Armstrong Fries! 1 sausage, 1 meatball, meat sauce. Smothered in cheese over French fries.

Second time, last time. If you have to be gluten free, other than gf pizza crust there isn't much here. Yes they offer gf penne pasta but most of the sauces are loaded with flour. How about a slab of meat? Rib eye only. All the other choices are flour loaded. The Joe's Martini was good...big, tasty and gluten free.
